My experience with housekeeping unlimited was pathetic in many aspects, Review my pictures to see how She left my bed undone, my patio who I put it as number one priority in case she run out of time that dirty, and my dining table dirty, I sent the pictures and the complaints the manager and five days later she decided to get back to me by saying the cleaning lady was running out of time and this is the best she can do!!!
Also I found couple of things missing, I cannot swear that the lady took them but it's a suspicious.
My overall experience with this company is bad and I don't recommend them.

A friend highly recommended them. So I gave them a try. She said a manager would come first or during the first visit, to take notes for future cleanings. But none did. The cleaner said she would make notes after she returned to the office but she never wrote anything down so I wonder how could she remember it all? Despite my warning that I had a very fast indoor cat she let him escape whens he answered the doorbell without calling me. We eventually found him. Their cleaning was OK, but not without issues. The manager never called afterwards to see how we liked their service or to schedule future regular visits. All we got was the bill in the mail for way more than we were led to believe it would cost. Will never use them again.

UPDATE: These guys are the best. There was a scheduling mixup and they didn't show up for a scheduled cleaning; when I checked in, they fixed the issue immediately by heading over ASAP and doing the work immediately. The cleaning is great–they eliminated stains left by a guest's pet that I thought would never come out. And the price was excellent.

I'm not going to ding them for the scheduling snafu–that sort of thing happens. I care a lot more about how they handle things like that, and these guys handled it exactly right. They showed up very quickly, did the work very quickly, charged a very fair price and did an excellent job. We'll keep calling them whenever we need a carpet cleaned.

Great service and excellent price. We had some extreme stains that we couldn't budge on our own, and by the time we called in professionals they'd been there for months.

The cleaners warned us that they couldn't guarantee anything due to the type of stain, the length of time, and the fact that we'd used whatever chemicals on our own. But in fact, they got the carpet virtually spotless.

In addition to doing a great job, they did it quickly and for a reasonable price. They also communicated well with us, which we particularly appreciate. Great service, highly recommended.

3 people came to clean my house for an initial cleaning and I found several items for feedback on improvement from the windows behind the sink not getting cleaned at all, mold remaining in the shower, and dust pushed to the back of dressers and shelves remaining, etc. The pricing was far more than realized upon initial conversation with Becky in the office because the hourly charge is apparently per person in your home as I now understand it. It was expensive compared to a service I had once used that was also local with 3 people. When the post office caused a delayed payment because my check was sent back through the mail which I finally received back over 6 months later revealing the problem. My account was immediately sent to collections with no phone call or second notice to pay my bill. Becky from the office scolded me and point blank told me that I was trying to skirt my responsibility for my amount due. I simply didn't want to pay the overtime charge from the collection agency. When the snafu on the post office's end was realized and made known to Buckingham Palace Becky simply couldn't apologize when given the opportunity as I calmly explained how the way she talked to me made me feel. So, this final phone encounter with her is what has pushed me to leave my review. I have honestly never had such an awful experience with someone in retail type services.

Previous to using Buckingham Palace, we had a local person come and clean our home every other week. She was great and very inexpensive, but because she was just one individual she got sick, had a family crisis or just plain couldn't make it. We kept going with her as long as we could, partially out of guilt because we knew her so well. It was so frustrating not to have a regular person.

We used Buckingham before and had a good experience, but I did feel uncomfortable having so many people in my home at once. I spoke with Becki, the cleaning manager and they were extremely accommodating. Now they send a two person crew and I feel my house isn't grand central station.

I appreciate that Buckingham is a locally owned and operated business. It's not a franchise that is beholden to a "system" of cleaning. The crew that comes out takes special requests and cleans the home the way I want. I used those big name companies and was told: "it's against policy to do that." Excuse me. My home, my rules for cleaning. And we aren't talking major stuff: they wouldn't skip dusting certain equipment because the whole room needs to be dusted, stuff like that.

Buckingham costs more than the one person operations, but for that cost you don't run into pesky insurance and tax issues and you know while they try to send the same crew each time, if someone is sick or can't make it your house gets cleaned.

My wife and I were first time users of this service, and chose it from the many in the area based on the positive reviews. We live in a smaller two bedroom / two bathroom apartment and were looking for a service to come in for a yearly refresh, that is to get everything cleaned nicely so that we could continue maintenance on it throughout the year. I would not recommend this service to anyone based on the following:

1. The first person to come clean arrived late, and left about 1.25 hours early, which I assumed would be a good thing as they charge by hour. No such luck. Out of the 49 point checklist MaidPro boasts, the cleaner did not remove any of the trash, did not clean blinds or windowsills, did not even enter the laundry room (floor covered with dust and lint, left multiple mirrors untouched did not clean the kitchen floor, didn't clean the top of the stove or under the hood, used an old vacuum which left the apartment smelling musty, and overall just refused to get into any corners (dirt and dust visible). To be frank, it was cleaned the way I used to clean when I was 7, where I only went after easy to reach and easy to see spaces.

2. Because of this, we called and MaidPro apologized (great!) and offered to send someone out for a re-clean the next day (Great!). Unfortunately, re-clean does not mean re-do all the areas the first person said they did, it just means have the owner point out every single area that was not touched and then hit those areas with a little more gusto. Overall, many corners were still uncleaned, and our apartment is no cleaner than if my wife and I took an hour out of a Saturday morning to do the job ourselves, maybe less. Radiator is still covered in dust, bathroom cabinets covered in dust. The disappointing thing is the response from the cleaner was, "Everyone has their own measure of clean." I actually agreed with the cleaner here, although I figured a professional organization's level of clean would at least be at my level (not hard) or higher.

3. If you do not have someone at home to babysit the cleaner and tell them the areas of your apartment to clean, and to make sure that MaidPro's checklist is followed, I would avoid like the plague. Frankly, if you have someone at home, you're much better off cleaning yourself.

4. The final straw was when we received the invoice, we were charged for the cleaning time, as though nothing about our experience was poor. When I inquired about an additional discount for poor service, the only option was a discount from future services, which at this point we had decided were extremely unnecessary. Not only that, but the owner, aware that there was an extremely unhappy customer did not come to the phone to speak with me, rather left the coordinator (who I was impressed with actually) to deliver the news that nothing would be done to compensate for our miserable experience and time wasted now.

To make it short — unless you only care about a general surface cleaning, and you don't have any time to do anything yourself, I would avoid this company. If anyone else has any good recommendations, my wife and I are in need of a capable cleaner.

My husband had requested for someone to come clean our house once a month with MaidPro after we had our second child. Alexis Johnson has been cleaning our house monthly for a few months now and I can say I'm pleased. It's nice to have a deep cleaned house once a month! We stay at home while she is there since I have two little ones at this time. And she works around us. She makes sure to have me check everywhere before she leaves. If there is extra time left, she informs me and asks if there is anywhere else I would like her to clean before she leaves. And she came early for the very first visit to go over what we had in mind as well as go over the extensive cleaning checklist MaidPro employees are required to follow. She is very friendly and does well with our dog and our two year old who is super curious as to what she is doing. Hired them for 3 hour cleaning. After asking us what we wanted them to clean, I stated the kitchen, especially the floor, and the toilet and bath in the main bathroom. (Had some kids in the house that wrecked them, just needed some help catching up on the cleaning.)

Pros: They use more natural cleaning stuff, if you want that to be used.
The person my wife talked to on the phone was super nice.

Cons: I don't know who they sent out to us, since she is not on the website as a cleaner, but she organized my wife's makeup in the bathroom, cleaned the toilet and bathtub, but really didn't clean any floors, and certainly not the kitchen or kitchen floor. Looks like she may have just swept it quickly. I would have rather paid the $75 to a babysitter and just have done it myself. The person basically spent the first 30 min talking about herself and her kids and all their gender preferences. Great, but we hired this person to clean, not tell us intimate details about their family.
