I have been meaning to write this review for more than a yr now. My husband and I used this company for regular cleanings for 2 years and were very happy with them. Elica and Adigio both work hard, we're friendly and always on time. It was so nice having reliable cleaners that we trusted.
They always surprised us by going above and beyond with something, whether it was emptying the baby diaper genies, the way they would arrange my son Max's stuffed animals or finding time to fold clothes or blankets that were left out. I stopped using them a few months ago to get caught up financially but hope to have them back soon. I highly recommend them!

I signed up for a 3 hour cleaning of the house, they responded within 2 hours; the appointment was set; and they blew away our expectations!

They've done a great job for us on Monthly cleanings. We started with a deep clean and things we thought were forever stained looked like new when they were done! (Glass shower door, oven, refrigerator, sink rings). It is such a great feeling knowing that when we get a little behind on keeping the house clean that they will be there to help out. Their prices are reasonable and scheduling is pretty flexible too if you need them just before or after an event, etc.
My family and I are very happy with SC, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I was planning on doing a chargeback because of all additional cleaning that was required for the cabinets and the owner's Yelp response to my initial review which was the only communication I had received from her until this week, but when I reached out to her via text to let her know, she offered to right this whole issue. Initially she offered a free general home clean, but I asked instead that she send a team to deep clean the remaining cabinets I hadn't moved my kitchen items into yet.
Today two of her cleaners came in at noon and they worked until 3PM deep cleaning my cabinets. I was very specific on my expectations and so we did have to go through a couple passes to get the job done; however, I appreciated that they were willing to work with me–they even grabbed some of my cleaning supplies to ensure that they cleaned the cabinets to my satisfaction when I showed them after they wiped down a cabinet how dirty the cabinet still was. They also respected my guidelines for where to place their cleaning supplies and dirty rags (I moved in and am using the kitchen now and didn't want anyone's cleaning supplies on the places where I prepare my raw meats and fresh produce) The entire time, Jocilene would send me texts asking me to verify the work being done was to my satisfaction.
To note: Jocilene and her team offered to vacuum and clean my floors, appliances, etc and the offer was appreciated, but I paid $500 for my cabinets–and wouldn't have done so if I didn't anticipate the level of effort required to do the job, so I passed on the offer. Still, they were willing to go above and beyond to ensure that I was happy.
They did the work this second time around and I have no complaints. I wish this had been done in the first pass for the sake of time spent (I had to deep clean some of the cabinets myself) and frustration, but my satisfaction was guaranteed and per Jocilene, she would have fixed the problem immediately but she said she missed my feedback that I sent the original day when I complained about the cleaning I paid for not being done. Because of the patience and sincere effort of her team. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt.
I'm reverting back to my original recommendation that folks who need just a general clean consider SC Cleaning. For move-in deep clean–especially if you aren't going to be present–I would strongly recommend that you work with the SC Cleaning team to ensure that they understand the requirements.

Hired for a deep clean (actually a gift for my wife). It was easy to set up and they did a great job. I actually arranged almost entirely by text message, which was very convenient. The deep clean lived up to my wife's high standards. They cleaned the insides and outsides of cabinets, the fridge, the window interiors, the bathroom cabinets, furniture cushions, oven, etc.

Took about 5 hours for our 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. Fine for us, just expect a deep clean to be pretty much all day.
Small items were a bit rearranged on shelves and in cabinets – totally fine for us, just be aware that's gonna happen with a deep clean service.
We removed all kids' toys from the living space beforehand, which I think is the right move.
They offered to clean the basement, but our basement is unfinished so we declined.

I hired Maid to Perfection to clean my mother's home prior to listing it for sale. The whole process was as easy as could be. They checked the house size and layout on Zillow (instead of my having to answer a ton of questions) before giving me their estimate. My home has a lot of decorations and Camelia and her team took the time and care to dust all around the objects. They are very detail oriented and make sure every room is done to the clients satisfaction! My home is sparkling clean and smells wonderful! We had our home cleaned last spring. I was impressed with the reasonable estimate so I booked this company. When I arrived home from work, I was so excited to see how it came out. When I first walked in the door, it looked nice. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the thorough cleaning I requested did not occur. There were spots on the kitchen counters and mirrors, the floor in one room had not been swept nor washed, and none of the garbage had been emptied. When I reached out to the owner, she offered me a 10% refund plus what I left the cleaner for a tip. I was not satisfied with this, and I let her know, but there was no other attempt to remedy the situation. In addition, less than one week later, we had to have our septic system emergency pumped because the water was backing up into our tub. Someone had flushed wipes down the toilet. In the three years we have lived in our home, this has never happened because we know how to treat our septic system. I have no proof it was the cleaning person, however it is a pretty big coincidence. I would not use this company, nor would I recommend them to anyone I know.

I tried to hire this company, but the owner said they didn't clean apartments. I see another review that was an apartment. Obviously the owner judges people not the job to be done.

We have been looking for a cleaning service and decided to give the maids a try. They did a good job however we were charged over $50 more than the high end of the range we were provided when we scheduled (even though they were here on the low/mid end of the time range we were given to expect) and it's not as though they did every bit of detail work in the house or anything (fronts of cabinets do not look wiped, a few dust bunny/cob webs in stair well etc). Floors looked great, sinks/toilets etc were al done very well. Decent job but not for the price we were charged. Won't be booking monthly cleanings with them as we hoped to.

My friend said to me this weekend, in regards to my feeling guilty about hiring a housekeeping service, "It all comes down to this. How much is your time worth?" Well, I thought about it and my time is certainly worth spending $100 a week for my house to be clean. My husband and I both work full time and neither one of us are neat-freaks by nature – we have to work at it (one of us, more than the other but I'll let you decide who you think that is).
On weeknights when we get home from work after 6, we have to take the dog for some exercise, work out ourselves if we didn't run with the dog, figure out what we're doing for dinner, make dinner, clean up after dinner (and watch Real Housewives of Somewhere) etc. That leaves little time for vacuuming, dusting and cleaning toilet bowls. So, we used to attempt to do all that on Saturday mornings, but we dreaded it and it seemed to take forever. Not to mention, what happens when it's a glorious day and you want to go to the Farmer's Market early and play outside in the sun? No time to clean.
So, once a week now, we come home to a sparkling clean home – and we try to do our best to keep it clean until the next week. We are still responsible for dishes, laundry and minimizing clutter but those things, I can handle. Without fail, the house is spotless each time. "The Maids" leave the floors shining, the rugs spotless and the stainless steel smudge free. And there are no longer dust bunnies in the corners – not even on the stairs. The best part is, having a clean base to start with motivates us to keep it clean. I will admit to even pulling out the vacuum at night, on the same day that they had been there, because I noticed the dog trekked in some dirt. The previous "I don't have my house professionally cleaned" person I once was would have left the dirt there because it would have blended in with the other dirt spots – NOT ANYMORE!
"The Maids" is a very professional service. I have never met anyone there. Everything was done on the phone and we just leave a key and a check on cleaning days. I know there are a lot of good cleaning services around, but this place was referred to us by my husband's co-worker who has been using them for years which made us feel safer about allowing strangers into our home.
PS – The only one who doesn't like cleaning day is our dog – who is banished to the basement (aka, dungeon) on cleaning day until the dog walker comes at lunch time and rescues him.

I have been using "The Maids" for the past 7 years and have been impressed with the quality of their cleaning. They took my situation with full knowledge that I left an apartment in a complete mess! The person in charge quoted me a price and stuck to it even through he labor ran $120 over! I have yet to see it as life has been so demanding but truly I am impressed by the professionalism and keeping to his word! Not 5 stars as I have not seen result of the teams hard labor. I would use them again!

I recently cleaned out my house in anticipation of new furniture. I was in great need for an over due home clean up. I looked up cleaners and Mom's House cleaning "popped" up…I sent word I was in need of help and "immediately" Edel responded to my need/request. I was also, in a crunch time-wise. The furniture was to be delivered only a few days away and Edel made arrangements to get to my house prior to the delivery so my wood floors, kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, could all be cleaned. AND that they were. I was and am truly thrilled and have asked Edel if she would be available on a monthly basis to keep my home nice and clean. It as though a weight has been lifted knowing I have her and her team!!!

I hire Mom House Cleaning for bigger cleanings when we are about to have guests over. Edel is very friendly, responsive and competitive with pricing…and I can just about see my reflection in the hardwoods floors when they are done 🙂
