Summary: Would not recommend for a detailed clean; expensive.

I hired Merry Maids for the first time to do a detailed clean (which they advertise on their website) of our house; pre-clean I told Kim some specific things I wanted done like dusting window shades and cleaning windowsills and she took notes. The price was $180/hour for 3 cleaners. Workers arrived about 15 minutes early which was a bit frantic on a work morning (I was trying to put stuff away). They did a great job with typical cleaning stuff (vacuuming, mopping, etc.) but they did not do any of the specialty cleaning tasks I had asked for so I was pretty disappointed. The price seemed expensive for the result and I would not hire them again.

Merry Maids came into my home for a year with different cleaners every time they came. The LAST time they came a trainee scratched the surface of my LG french door refrigerator. the floors of my home were not clean….. I re scrubbed them on my hands and knees. I put a stop payment on the $105.00 check I wrote them. When I contacted East Helena Merry Maids, I was told that they would send a letter to address the issues. I'm still waiting…8 months later…..I do not recommend this business.

My husband I are VERY happy with Merry Maids. I look forward to coming home after they have been there to clean. It is so pleasant to walk into a very clean house and feel comfortable knowing that nothing was disturbed in the process. The level of professionalism of both the office staff and those who clean our house is wonderful. When the cleaners arrive, we might chat a bit, but then they are right to business. The office checks in periodically to make sure we are happy and that is appreciated as well. The other important thing we really like is that we hired Merry Maids not an individual. So we can count on getting our house cleaned on the schedule we have established. We had tried another company but we may as well have hired the individual – since our schedule was constantly impacted by her circumstances. Merry Maids shows up, does what we agreed to if not a little extra, and gives us the gift of using our time in other ways. Thank you Merry Maids!
