I really appreciated that she asked what I was looking for out of the service she provided–I was looking for a "gets my security deposit back" type of clean and that it did! So we paid for a deep clean – I would call it a little less than regular clean. I'm attaching a few pics of stuff left behind. Careful if you have a basement – I was told no one has ever asked them to clean a basement even though I included it in my square footage estimate. Since they didn't do it they took an entire 5% off the price. Oven cleaning – not so much, fan cleaning (missed a few blades). When we asked them to double check some work – it was not customer is right but let's get defensive. My wife wanted the house cleaned for her birthday – instead she was upset they did not do a good job. I would suggest save your money and do it yourself.

I found the pricing very fair and we scheduled an initial deep clean. They arrived promptly at noon as we scheduled and by 2:30 the house was spotless. Three years later, and I am VERY sad to say we had to move. I loved having the crew at Maids 4 U come every other week, I looked forward to it, and hearing from the owner Danielle, or from Wendy to confirm on Thursdays. In fact, they are doing our final clean out and I am not in VA, it is probably better, I would cry if I was. I can honestly say that they are the "Gold Standard" that everyone should compare their service to; from the thoroughness of the staff, to the professionalism of the owner, there is just no substituting for perfection in the area.
I get ill, a LOT, and am also disabled. Having a clean home is essential to keep me healthy, and to make sure I don't fall. These folks truly are an inspiration to the service industry as a whole.
Not everyone is cut out for this kind of job, that is just a fact, however I cannot say that I had a bad experience that would lead me to ever give them a terrible review on here over the three years I was a client. I have grown close to the staff and owner over time, if I ever had a problem, I would not hesitate to call and talk directly to Danielle; she is understanding, approachable and most of all professional.
I honestly cannot go through the entire list of names of people that cleaned our house, I was comfortable with everyone that was sent over. All of the employees were terrific, and friendly to both my husband and me, and our 2 dogs, who were VERY interested in everything they were doing.
The most important thing I want to say is a sincere THANK YOU to everyone at Maids 4 U for helping me make a home in a new place, and maintaining it. I will miss you all very much.

I've used a couple of cleaning services to clean my house the last couple of years but I have to say that Maids 4 U was by far the cleanest.
Kara and I think Summer came to clean our house. They came out the last full week of January… I've been meaning to write a review but I ended up having an unexpected arrival on the 28th of January. Our baby boy arrived almost 2.5 weeks early. So needless to say I've been pretty busy. They spent probably 2.5-3 hours cleaning most of the house. I wanted it clean since I was towards the end of my pregnancy and wanted to treat myself. I work from home so it worked out nicely that I was able to work in the room they didn't clean.
The bathrooms were sparkling which was really the main thing I wanted clean. Honestly, I don't think we keep our house dirty by any means but it was still nice to have someone make it sparkle. Kara led the cleaning crew… she was super sweet and what a great person to work with. Honestly, I don't have anything but great things to say about Maids 4 U… all the beds were made (they even offered to change the sheets for us). They cleaned the floors with water and vinegar so nothing harsh. It really was super great service.
Honestly I would want monthly service… but I do think it's about pricey considering the entire house wasn't cleaned only 3 rooms and 2.5 baths, when I have 5 rooms 3.5 baths. Maybe there would be a possibility in bimonthly service.
Danielle was also great to work with as well. Super nice. Sorry for not calling you back Danielle… I think I had the baby that Saturday after you called me on Friday.

So many things went wrong…were do I begin.
I was looking for a maid to deep clean my new home, a few weeks ago in October, before I moved in. The home was completely free of any furniture or anything. You would think cleaning this small house would be an easy task. Apparently, this company hires anyone because the lady that came out to my home smelled like a box of cigarettes and looked like an addict. (Side note, the maid stopped cleaning to take a smoke break…oh my gosh, the funky smell). I don't smoke and can not be around the smell of cigarette smoke, as it disrupts my immune system and causes me to have temporary bronchitis. However, I dealt with the smell, as I just kept my distance and was out of the maids way until she was done cleaning. Mind you, this was my first time hiring someone to clean my home. This was a complete waste of time and money, I ended up recleaning my whole entire house because it was not done, after I paid to have it done.
My tubs and sinks in the bathrooms were not cleaned, the floors in the house were not cleaned, nothing in the kitchen was cleaned, no counters in the house were cleaned, bathroom trash can had water all in it, (the owner, Danielle, said she didn't know why the maid would even wet the trash can, as she is supposed to only empty it out) the blinds throughout the house were not wiped down, per my request as top priority, nothing was done in my home. Again, I had to reclean my whole entire house. My bestfriend, literally wiped her hands on the kitchen countertops and black/grey dust was all on it. I opened all the blinds in the house to allow sunlight to come into the house, before the maid began to clean. When the maid left I tried to close the kitchen blind but was not able to do so because the tilt wand was missing. I searched high and low for that thing and couldn't find it. My bestfriend husband, stood on the kitchen sink and found the tilt wand broken above the kitchen window frame, up against the wall. Who would have thought to look up there. So the maid broke my tilt wand and hide it and said nothing to me or anyone about it.
FYI, when these maids comes out to your home, they have to be there a required minimum of 3 hours, which they don't tell you, and that's included in the price they quote you. The maid arrived on time but left 30 minutes early and lied to the owner Danielle by not telling her she left early. The maid, also gave me her personal cellphone number and told me to call her and that she would beat Danielle prices and quoted me prices, if I need another house cleaning. After the maid left, I called Danielle, the owner, and told her what the maid had done. Danielle said the maid violated her company's policy and was not supposed to give out her personal number or have another cleaning business, and that she was unaware that the maid even had a cleaning business. Danielle asked me for the maid's cellphone number and I gave it to her and she confirmed that was the maids contact number.
With the poor experience I received, I was able to reach out to Danielle, the owner, and tell her everything that happened. Danielle, did not properly fix the problem or even come close to making me a happy customer. She only offered or do a reclean and $30 off my next cleaning. Why would I risk having to stand on someone's back pointing out every little thing to clean or reclean? Danielle and her staff would randomly show up at my home unannounced trying to drop off another tilt wand for my kitchen blinds. Danielle ended up having a male staff leave the tilt wand on my back patio in between the doors, again unannounced he was coming. Very unprofessional to just show up at someone's house unplanned! The tilt wand was not in any packaging and appeared as if they just took it off of another random window and gave it to me. I find this company to be very unprofessional and incompetent to do business! I suggest you find energy from somewhere to clean your own home. If you must need a cleaning company, I suggest you find another company and save yourself the hassle, headache, time, and money.

We first called them to do a one time cleaning that included some rooms that were a horrible mess. They exceeded our expectations and were so nice and easy to work with that I set up a monthly schedule for regular cleanings. That was a few months ago and I've been happy ever since.

First off, the individualized care of Danielle – personable, professional, and even personally followed up after my cleaning = A+++ customer service. I wasn't expecting that level of care and attention, and I want to note that it didn't go unnoticed. Today's digital society no longer warrants such a personal touch – if she had not provided this extra touch, they still would have gotten 5 stars from me, but this behavior is a great foundation to create loyalty.
Secondly, the two cleaners did a wonderful job – paying close attention to the bathrooms and sweetly working to arrange some semblance of order that is the chaos of the top of my dresser. It was crucial, as I was bringing my newborn home from the hospital, that the place be clean and sanitized, and even staying after to meet the baby and give well wishes!
I will absolutely be recommending them and using them again!

I decided to go with Maids 4 U because it allowed me to customize my cleaning service. I created a list for the cleaner, placing the most important cleaning objectives at the top of the list. It was my understanding that these tasks would be done thoroughly, and in some cases not all tasks could be completed. This was okay with me, as I wanted the most important tasks done and done well within the 3-hour time frame.
Instead, the cleaner rushed through the list. The blinds in my house were one of my top priorities, and they were still dusty after her cleaning. I pointed this out to the cleaner, and she kindly went back and redid them by hand. As the customer, I should not have to supervise and tell a professional cleaner how to do their job. If the duster isn't getting everything off, it seems logical that a professional cleaner would try something else rather than leave it as is (also, my blinds were not that dirty. I could have easily done the job in 15-20 minutes).
Another strange aspect of the cleaning was the stovetop range. She cleaned some of the range, but did not bother to clean the drip pans (picture attached). Again, I pointed this out to her and she kindly did it. While it is great that she was receptive to my feedback, I should not have to tell a professional cleaner to clean something so obvious and easy to do.
Another frustration of mine was the minimal amount of effort that was put into getting the dust under the bed. The cleaner vacuumed, but when I looked after it was still dirty (picture attached). I spoke with Danielle's assistant (Wendy), and Danielle also left me a voicemail, and was told by both that they can't move heavy furniture. However, you DO NOT have to move my queen bed to get to the dust. When I clean under the beds, I use a swiffer and its gets the job done. Perhaps the Maids 4 U does not have a swiffer, but most professional cleaners have a vacuum with attachments. For instance, the standard crevice tool attachment would have easily been able to reach those "hard to reach" places. So, Maids 4 U either does not have a professional vacuum or they are content to poke the vacuum under the bed and call it quits. If that's the case, as it seems to be, Maids 4 U should not be called a professional cleaning service.
Another issue was the corners of the master bathroom floors. According to both Wendy and Danielle, they use green products and sometimes it takes more than one cleaning. However, when I went to clean it myself, I was able to get rid of the minor amount of grime that was there myself.
My last complaint was the baseboards. These were "dusted," but apparently the client is supposed to specify that they need to be wet wiped. Okay, sure, but as a first time client this should have been specified. Also, I was home and the cleaner could have easily asked rather than leaving having done a half-completed job.
Danielle offered one hour of free cleaning, but I do not want to supervise their cleaners so I will not be taking this offer,

Just had an excellent experience with Maids 4 U!
Stephanie was selected to do our cleaning. I was impressed because having lived in NY rentals for a long time, finding affordable cleaning services was tough — but when I did find something, the cleaners never arrived on time and were aloof during the whole process. I get it, it's not a fun job — I'm sure I'm not all smiles when I'm cleaning my tub either. But not the case with Stephanie! She was super personable and did the job really well.
The owner, Danielle, even dropped by to say hi and check in on things towards the end as I'm a new customer. Well, after such an overall pleasant and great experience, I anticipate being a repeat client.

Danielle and her staff were great! We used them twice. Once I was away and wanted to surprise my wife by hiring a maid to clean the house so my wife didn't have to worry about the house being neat and clean. Danielle was able to get someone scheduled for the very next day and the quote was great!

Called Thursday evening, to come out Friday to clean 2 rooms. They were very responsive and set an appointment for the next day, Friday at 7am. They cleaned the guest bathroom and guest bedroom. The price was a bit high, $80 for two small rooms, that just needed basic cleaning with no deep cleaning or bedding changed, etc. I went behind them and noticed the guest bedroom floor was not touched at all, so I had to clean it…hence the reason for 3 stars.

We highly recommend Lali and her crew for full house / turnover cleaning. Lali was fantastic. Very reseasonbly priced and responded to our request within 8 hours. We're selling a house in the Salisbury neighborhood (Midlothian) which was left in very poor condition by the former resident. She was able to take direction from a distance – we live in a different city – and her team was able to deliver spectular results with no direct oversight. Lali sent pics of the progress and final results. We were VERY pleased. Thank you Lali.

Time to update!
Due to Covid-19 and losing a good chunk of my income, I hadn't been able to hire Lali's team in about 6 months. Needless to say, my house was in dire need of a sprucing up. Since quarantine began, myself, my husband (who works full time and runs a business out of our house), our long haired dog and our 2 year old have been home full time. To say my house is a circus is an understatement. It is a freaking zoo. While working and being a mom full time, I haven't been able to keep up with the house. Chores are often the first thing to go when I am so tired at the end of the night.
I was extremely embarrassed when the team showed up today because of how bad of shape my house was in. As usual, they didn't make me feel bad and they got right to work. They came in wearing masks and started tackling my barn of a house. They are not even finished yet and I am floored. I am so grateful for these incredible ladies. My house is spotless and smells amazing. It is well worth the money to have someone else come in and deep clean. As busy as we are in this world these days, I truly believe that outsourcing is the key to mental health.

Lali and her partner arrived on time and gave my 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment a thorough well deserved cleaning. I have done light cleaning best I could since moving in 9 months ago but I was in desperate need for a professional cleaning. Took them a little over 3 hours to clean the place and refrigerator. Set me back about $160. Will have regular service once a month. Very happy with the service

I cannot say enough good things about Lali's Amazing Cleaning Team. We were needing to have our condo deep cleaned because we were preparing for showings to sale it. This team came in and made our condo look better than the day we bought it. I promise you, I have never seen our lights shine so bright, our base boards look so clean, and our windows sparkle so beautifully. Did I mention we have a ridiculous amount of stairs? Well we do, and they still did an amazing job! It was amazing and made me wish we had this team come bi-monthly since we lived there! I am beyond impressed. I've never seen my apartment sparkle like this. It looks better than before I moved in. It feels so clean and bright. And the little details! Such as the way they fold the end of the toilet paper and how they tie the ends of the small new trash bags into the waste baskets. I feel so pampered. They even rearranged the soap/shampoo in the shower after cleaning it so that it looks more aesthetically pleasing! Such talent. Such hard work. I have so much admiration. Why didn't I hire them sooner?!

My fiancé and I just had our home deep cleaned today by Lali's team and when I say our older home is SPOTLESS, it's SPOTLESS!!! They were super professional and cleaned every bit of our home. We got the steam and refrigerator cleaning add ons and it was completely worth it! I am absolutely blown away. I have lived in my 600 SQFT apartment for 1.5 years. I keep it clean because it is a small space, but I've been doing a ton of traveling in the past few weeks and decided it was time to have a professional come in to deep clean my apartment. Dusting, mopping the floors downstairs, general cleaning and a good bathroom clean was the most important items on my list. I have never been happier then when I came home today!!! My apartment is positively spotless. I will be using Lali and her team in the future – probably every other month to keep my apartment as clean as it is now, it's like I just moved in! My apartment smells amazing and not one surface has dust left on it. They even started my load of laundry!!!! Wow – the little things!
The woman who was sent by Lali was as sweet as she could be and I trusted her immediately to leave while I ran errands in the afternoon. I don't like to hover (also my place is too small to not be in the way) so I was so happy she was comfortable with that. Lali communicated with me perfectly through text messages during their cleaning to let me know when they were finished. I came home shortly after they left and I finished at the grocery store. Lali also takes VENMO – praise for technology!! I was thrilled with the ease of payment and tip 🙂 The price was extremely fair for the amount of work these ladies put into my apartment for the past hours they have been working. The team of two came in and started their process. I've tried 3 companies to date and I've been dissatisfied. Not anymore! This team was great! They came in, took their time and cleaned our house right . I appreciate when people take pride in doing a good job.
The steps to our bedroom were each vacuumed. Our restrooms were cleaned properly. Our kitchen was cleaned as it should be. Our living room was mopped(wood floors). Our beds were made like a hotel room! Our laundry was placed in our laundry room. It was a very good experience.
If you are in the market for a good cleaning service at a reasonable rate, look no further. I'm so glad I found them and where else but on Yelp. Reviews tell the story from Yelpers. You all did not disappoint by rating them highly.

Lali's team performed a 1 time move out cleaning at my condo on 4/27/2020 and did a great job! They were on time, courteous and professional. In approx 3 hours, 2 ladies scrubbed and vacuumed until my 1,000 square foot condo sparkled! I wish I could budget for a regular cleaning service because I'm sure they would keep my new house squeaky clean.

Our tenants left our rental house filthy and we needed it cleaned ASAP. Contacted Lali on a Saturday and they were in the house Monday! My experience with Lali and her team was great. Response time was great, their arrival was timely and they did a bang up job on the cleaning. We recently had a new bathroom installed in our basement and there was dust Er'where…chuckle. But Lali's team came prepared and were able to tackle my mess. I only have a small bit of feedback. And honestly never thought that this would be an issue for me. But, as I am in search of a new cleaning service for my new home , I realized that it should matter. As I stated earlier, they did a wonderful job cleaning. It saved me a ton of time. And for that…I thank Lali!! That said, the cleaning chemicals they used were VERY strong. Some people think that's great!!! But I dont necessarily think that the stronger the scent, the cleaner the space. And while I am not by any means an environmentalist, I am somewhat conscious… somewhat. Instead of using a 'Fabuloso', try using a citrus cleanser, lavender, essential oils, or something a little more environmentally friendly and less pungent. Just a suggestion. Also, Lali was about $10-20 more expensive than the other services that I contacted. I ultimately paid $100 (+20 tip) for about an 850 sq ft space. But hey, like I said, I was simply happy that I didnt have to do it myself! Hallelujah… thank you, Lali!
