Hired them about a year ago. Gave them a shot for about a year. Wouldn't request to come back. Only did bare minimum cleaning. Wont clean behind tv/couch unless asked prior to cleaning. Never sends same person either. Looking to form a trustworthy relationship between me and my cleaning helper. Doesn't do dishes or help with basic task unless asked ahead of time and charges extra for both.

Nice cleaning crew, but I later noticed some things were missed. I had inside the fridge cleaned, but the top of the fridge itself wasn't. The backsplash in the kitchen hadn't been wiped down. Someone was mopping my hardwood floors and I asked what type of cleaner it was- I was told it was water. Another member of the crew stepped in and said it was a solution the company provides. Okay, then.
My place was completely empty when they cleaned it, so I expected the deep clean to include washing things like 1. tile 2. top of the fridge. I'm not the type to stand over people and give directions – I expect the employees of a service I'm paying for to know how to perform their job duties. Show me what you can do.
Should I give them a second chance? I'm not sure.

We've been using Better Life Maids for a few months and have consistently been very happy with their work. Melody has been our cleaner a few times now, and she does an excellent job. Even with our menagerie of pets and both me and my husband working from home, she is efficient, considerate, and highly professional. BLM has cleaned our home for more than a year. In that time we've had quite a few different teams clean our home. Today we had the best duo we've ever had. Rebecca and Dee left our home spotless. I'm probably the pickiest person I know so, for me to say this is meaningful. The team took care to leave the floors streak free, fold the edge of the paper towels, literally polish the entire bathroom and left the whole house smelling fresh and clean. From my observation, it appeared that they really enjoyed their work. There was an authentic team oriented approach from the moment they walked in the door so, having them in our home was a pleasure.
This is the only reason I've deducted a star is that we have also had less than stellar teams By less than stellar, I'm not implying poor, just below average. Certainly no where close to the A-team we had today. If I owned this franchise, I would encourage the entire staff to emulate Dee and Rebeca in every way. I have requested that they send this dynamic duo exclusively. If this request is granted, I will happily raise my rating from 4 to 5 stars. 🙂

They get 2 stars because the cleaning team was friendly and courteous. That's as good as it gets. Basic things were not done:
-bathroom vanities'tops were not cleaned
-bases of toilets were not cleaned
-chair rail was not wiped
-dining chairs were not thoroughly dusted
-top of refrigerator not wiped, as promised
The crew was very kind but it seems they are stretched too thin. Went through the house too quickly. Will not use again. Owner's response when contacted was less than satisfactory. She didn't even apologize for poor service.

Better Life Maids came on Friday for my first cleaning. I was home so that I could introduce them to my dogs. I was nervous because my pets are very important to me. The young women (Team 7) came in and I could immediately tell that they were dog people! They greeted my puppies with affection and I knew by watching the interaction that my dogs would be ok when the team came in the future while I was at work. Absolutely horrible job! Waste of money. Even the essentials weren't done. House didnt smell clean. Crumbs still under the table. Cobwebs in the corners. Forgot about an entire bathroom. I had Better Life come do a one time cleaning before I have house guests this weekend, and every step of the process was easy and pleasant. They're the only local company I could find that would give me an instant quote and let me book service online, so I was happy from the start. I was also able to get a cleaning 2 days after the time I was booking, when other companies had told me they were booked out for several weeks. The online payment process and customer portal were easy to use, and the company was super responsive via email when I told them I thought I had accidentally double booked. My cleaning team texted me when they were on their way to my apartment and I gave them details on where to find the key, and they were super friendly during that interaction. I came home AMAZED. They went totally above and beyond what I expected from a standard cleaning, and even did some light organizing and removed some bags of trash I had sitting in my kitchen. I came home expecting everything to be clean of dirt but still needing to do a lot of work on the place, and honestly I will be ready for my guests with maybe 15 minutes of my own work after what Better Life did with my apartment. I am extremely pleased with their service and while I was going to just have them clean the one time, I think I'm going to start having them come do regular maintenance cleaning too because I could use the help and they knocked it out of the park this time. They were really good at first but their service has declined. I use them monthly and 2 months ago, they forgot to clean my basement all together, so they had to come back on a different date and redo it. Then last month, they missed my first floor bathroom and so I had to call them so they would clean that as well. When they came back to do the cleaning, one of the maids was trying to play with my dog who was in his kennel. My dog doesn't really like males, but also was remaining pretty calm despite people being there. Apparently though, the maid accidentally opened his kennel, letting him out and was unable to get him to go back in. He did text me, but I had to leave work to fix the situation, which was annoying. In addition to these issues, I used to get reminder emails a week prior to my appointments as well as emails about the services being done and complete and I have not gotten these in about 3 months. I have called and complained about this and all I get is that they don't know why I am not getting them. The positives of this company is that they use better life products which are all natural and initially when I was looking, they had the best price. I am now questioning though if that is worth the extra hassle.

Let me start with this is my first time to write a review.
My search for a cleaning service started when my cleaning lady of 22 years had surgery. After calling several companies, I contacted
Green Angels. William was fantastic to work with…professional, quick to respond, informative, and so kind.
William set up our first appointment the next week with Dee. She did such an amazing job we requested to have her for all our biweekly cleanings. She is a delight to work with…prompt, friendly, and great with our 2 year old Labrador who follows her everywhere. We've had a lot of chaos in our house the last couple of months (a wedding, college kids returning, MIL moving in with us). She was always flexible and adapted seamlessly, and our house is spotless when she leaves.
Most importantly, we completely trust her in our home.

Really disappointed. Used this company for years in both my law office and my home. Every time there was an issue William was great at responding. Stacy-the owner, would argue to drive home her position. This last visit, I had workers in my house and the employee stated she could not clean. Perfect. A friend was there, and the employee stated that because she could not clean the entire home, she would not take the check (I had them clean every single week!). Apparently Stacy then turned around and told her to take the check. When I questioned Stacy why she would think it was ok to take a check for a full house cleaning when only 1 1/2 rooms were cleaned, she claimed she assumed I made a donation to them because the employee could not clean the entire home. I was ready to accept her very odd reason for taking money when the entire house had not been cleaned, but she kept arguing that my home was challenging and the reason she kept the check. She did not apologize for taking the check, only that I was frustrated. Any owner of a business would understand that you don't take money that is not earned. She did state she would return the check which is great, but she should have dropped it. Everyone is stressed and hearing her excuses proved to be too frustrating. Sadly I had to walk away. Stacy needs to learn much better skills in dealing with customers. I would have recommended them with no hesitation before, but Stacy has soured my opinion of the company.

In the past I've utilized other home cleaning services in St. Louis and was very disappointed with the lack of quality and respect for my home. I called several cleaning service companies when I began my search – NONE of them called me back. William called me immediately, scheduled a time to walk through for a quote. The cleaning bill was very close to the quote so no surprises. William even took the time to personally accompany and inspect our home to ensure the job was done right. I was having a funeral in my home and called Rachel two weeks prior to schedule a deep cleaning. We decided on a day based on her schedule and when she would be in the area. She quoted me a price and told me she may or may not bring someone with her to help out, but that she would let me know day of. She also asked for pictures. I sent her pictures of the home that weekend, she was out of town, but said "no worries." She was to clean the next Friday.
The night before she was scheduled I texted to see what time frame I should expect her… no response. I texted her again in the morning because we needed to run an errand and I didn't want to miss her… no response. Then I called her. She said she was working on other homes and would not be finished until 4 pm and then she would be done for the day, then she offered to check around to see if she could maybe fit me in.
I texted her after about an hour to see what results she had and she told me she wasn't coming. This was around 1 pm, with the funeral the following day and family members already in town.
I wish she would have been upfront earlier when there was still time remaining to resolve the situation.

I was very disappointed because Rachel did not listen to what I wanted specially. I was moving out of an apartment I had lived in for almost 8 years so of course I knew it was dirty. I did not ask her to clean my whole apartment. I asked her simply to clean one bathroom as I had cleaned the other, clean the refrigerator and kitchen and wipe all the cabinets and vacumn the floor. That's it. I was not asking for a miracle, just get these things done and I even paid her extra because I asked her to wipe out the cabinets. Later after she cleaned she demanded she should get more money because I asked her to clean a 2bdrm/2bath apartment. So basically she did not do what I told her to do, got overwhelmed and developed an attitude until I had to remind of her of what I has simply asked her to do. I was very disappointed in what I saw. Sometimes you just have to meet the needs of what is asked rather they get frustrated with cleaning you weren't asked anyway. I would not hire her again.

When a house is cleaned properly, you should walk and smell "clean". I got home from work the day Cleaning Concepts came to our home and I actually forgot that we had paid to have our house cleaned. I could not smell any cleaning products. As I walked through the house, I found many missed areas. There were 3-4 dirty spots on the kitchen floor, the corners of the kitchen floor were not vacuumed or scrubbed, the kitchen counters were not wiped down, the ceiling fans had not been dusted, and the carpet was only partially vacuumed. More importantly, we paid an extra $60 to have the baseboards cleaned. They had not even been touched. Huge disappointment after spending $150 on a "clean" house.
