Beware! Jessica McIntyre is a dishonest and unreliable cleaning person. I hired Jessica for two house cleanings and she did a great job. But then the next two out of three times I hired her, paying her ahead of time, she cancelled, blaming the weather, and refused to give me my money back.

The first time she didn't show, she texted me 20 minutes before she was supposed to be there, saying that because of the snow she was going to clean someone else closer to her house, and do me the next day. I needed it cleaned that day. I frantically made a dozen phone calls and found someone else to do it. After I told her that, four hours later, she told me that I shouldn't have done that because she would have gotten her assistant to do my house, whereas before she had said she was doing it the next day. I told her I wanted my money back, and she said she'd only give me credit. I said if you cancel on me with 20 minutes notice and I have to pay someone else, I need a refund. She said that she would have to wait til the banks opened on Monday to refund me. This was an obvious lie, since I paid her with Venmo, which works just fine on weekends. But I didn't call her on it, because I had already paid for two more cleanings.

The next one we had scheduled she did, but the one after that, she told me the day before that she might not do it if it snows. I told her if she didn't do it I expect a refund. She avoided answering. Sure enough, it snowed and she cancelled. Again, I frantically call a dozen people. (Despite the snow, they're all out and working.) I finally found someone.

Jessica refuses to give me my money back, saying that I can use it as credit. But I don't trust her anymore, and I already ruined two workdays trying to find last minute coverage. I don't need to go through that a third time. Further, she lies. She lied that she needed to wait for the bank to reopen. She lied that she was going to get her assistant to do my job. She lied that her contract says that there are no refunds if she cancels. She says how could I expect her to risk her life in a dangerous snowstorm– I don't and didn't, it is anyone's judgment call to not drive when it doesn't feel safe, that's totally reasonable but then just return my money I paid you for the job you didn't do. I expect her to lie more and say this isn't true, but if anyone wants proof I'm happy to send you screenshots of all our text messages.

I told her that I would leave a negative review on Yelp and on the community forums if she didn't pay me back for the two jobs she cancelled, but she said she doesn't care because she already has enough clients. So here I am. Be warned.

This company pulled one of the most heinous and awful things I've ever experienced. I currently live in Albany, NY with plans to move back home to California in early June. I got called in the beginning of May to schedule an appt. the communication seemed fine, and although they were very booked out, we agreed on May 24th at 1130. I received a call 2 weeks prior to verify credit card information and make sure everything was good to go. The owner verbally said that everything was locked in good to go. Keep in mind, since our FIRST phone call, the company had my address and credit card information.

On May 24th, the day of the cleaning service and approximately 7 days before I move across the country; the company called me and stated that the cleaning service person arrived on scene to the apartment building and unfortunately will not be able to clean because they felt unsafe!! Keep in mind that my apartment has a separate fenced in parking lot, double key code locked doors to enter the building, and it's located on Central Ave and Lark st. Very busy street that is only minutes from the capital. There was absolutely nothing to feel unsafe about unless you are clearly a racist. The owner tried to justify that there are areas in Troy and Albany that they don't go to, but they had my address verified the entire time before they sent someone out to clean!!! This was so unacceptable and unprofessional and just so blatantly racist that it's honestly disgusting and despicable. I have lived at the location for an entire year and had zero issues. Now, with only 6 days left, no other cleaning service has any openings on such short notice. Please, please, please!! Do not use this company ever! They do not deserve to be considered business owners. An absolute disgrace

The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I asked specifically whether I should move my bed and he said he would be able/willing to move it for me. My bed is in the middle of my room so it's pretty crucial you move it to properly clean the entire room, especially considering you pay per room. When they left they there was no mention of not cleaning the entire room but he accepted the full payment. I was really willing to move it myself and I explained I was cleaning the carpet due to allergies so it's just annoying to have discussed it, confirm it and then lift my mattress and see crumbs + lint.
