I have waited for a few months to write this review. A regular home-cleaning service (I use them 2x a month) needs time to learn my home, my oddities and what is expected. Maids ala Mode are exceptional and just get better with each visit.
The billing is all pre-set to a credit card which is very modern and easy. You are sent email reminders (maybe too many) and a copy of the invoice electronically. It is very handy and all of the staff radiate pleasantness and courtesy.
My ladies are my "regulars", which is great since I am often home when they are here. They work well together and just bring a lot of positive energy through the door when they arrive.
I forgot about the actual work! My standards are pretty high and I live in a large home with all sorts of nooks and crannies. It is always spotless, shining and smells probably a bit like Heaven when they leave. They clean things that frankly I overlook or just disregard, and my bathrooms are almost too clean to use. The kitchen is the same. I cook all of the time and the chances of my sink ever looking that clean on my watch is zero.
Part of my household is a very ragged 22 y.o. cat. They clean up all of his fur and even work around him when he can't get up. How sweet is that?
Except for too much e-mail (maybe 5 per visit) Maids ala Mode is a home run for me.

They charged us $608.00 to deep clean our 3,800 square foot home in Fairhope. They are outrageously overpriced. Their work was mediocre at best. I wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone.

I think they do a really good job. For the best job, leave specific instructions and you'll be happy with the results. I asked them to make up a bed for planned guests. No problem. Furniture is dusty. Came home to find the leather sofa shining. And they always leave a pretty rose smell. Very nice to come home to that.

Terri and Amber did a deep clean on our midtown house today and I can't brag on them enough. I'm not sure my house has ever been so clean. They were friendly, professional, and courteous. We do rescue and have quite a few pets of our own, so I know we had more than enough dander and fur to go around, but the house is spotless and as a bonus, they seemed to love our animals which goes a long way in my book. Kirsten is also a total delight to work with and is very accessible. The entire process has been so easy and pleasant. I had a so-so experience with Maids a la Mode for a recent move-in cleaning. My new home was already very clean — it just needed a lot of dusting and vacuuming. For two cleaners for about 2 hours it cost me $220. I consider this quite expensive, much more than where I previously lived in downtown Washington D.C., where my salary was double. As for the cleaning, a lot of dust was still left on the blinds and other surfaces. For a quarter of a thousand dollars I expect to be able to eat off the floor. They did a good job on the fridge though and I like that they (mostly) use natural products, although I saw that they still use windex for the windows. I did like this service a bit better than Two Gals and a Mop.

We have been blessed to have this service since November, 2021. The teams that have come to clean our home have all been magnificent!! We are only able financially to have them come out once per month, so we eagerly look forward to seeing them get out of those bright yellow cars and come in to work their magic!
They are so thorough and efficient. Every room practically glows!! I'm sitting in the den right now, basking in my clean room and the sun shining through the sparkling clean windows. All the carpets are perfectly vacuumed and our kitchen floor is actual white again (for a minute, anyway).
We would recommend The Maids for any housekeeping job, large or small. They are, in a word, amazing!

I have used several cleaning services and have NEVER had such thoroughness in ALL services. I have NEVER seen the carpet look so good with the distinct lines throughout. The granite looks better than I've ever seen. I can't make it shine and it always look dull, until today. The floors were cleaned by hand and it is so obvious now that that truly makes a difference. They were proficient and efficient and I appreciated them all. It's expensive but worth every dime. You get what you pay for and all the other money I've thrown away using some of the other incompetent services, I only wish I had known. The Maids showed me there's an art to cleaning. Initial contact was very pleasant. Rep offered quote by telephone to clean empty rental house in Mobile, AL with specific list of items to include extra charges for oven and refrigerator. Offered $50 discount for immediate approval and payment by credit card. Upon arrival next day, "supervisor" advised the price would be higher than quoted. We approved additional amount anyway. Upon completion, supervisor advised someone would follow-up to see that job was satisfactory. Nobody ever called. After The Maids left, we inspected and found dirt and dust inside cabinets, oven dirty and untouched, mold in shower, two closet doors removed from tracks and left against wall, refrigerator clean, but left moved away from wall with filthy pile of dirt on kitchen floor. Still awaiting call back from The Maids office. Never again.
