Rocket Maids Honest Reviews
I contracted Rocket Maids to do a deep clean for a move in. I was told they would clean everything including drawers, cabinets, floors, windows, etc…. This service was supposed to be completed on 11/17. When setting up the service I told them the previous owner left the house "filthy" and needs a lot of cleaning. Rocket maid said they could complete this job for $365…with a discount!
On cleaning day one maid shows up alone to do the job that mote likely needed 3-4 people. I called the owner and left a voice mail about my concern and telling him I absolutely need the work completed today and she will not be able to compete this alone. He told me he was short staff and we will just have to see when she gets done. I also asked him to call me when the maid needs me to move the fridge and oven. The owner said they don't clean behind the stove and fridge. I was confused because this is still part of the floor and cabinet they said they would clean. The owner continued to tell me that it was outside his "scope of work". Doesn't sound like much of a maid service if they cannot clean the floor where the oven was.
I also asked the owner if he would compensate me for the inconvenience which he refused….I explained to him that he is wasting my time and now I have to reschedule other services in the hone because he could not complete his job. This is just bad businessLong story short, the job did not get completed and my freezer drawer is now broken as well.
Do NOT use Rocket Maids….you are better off calling someone else.

I called Rocket Maid to get an estimate for cleaning. The person I spoke to was very professional, asked me about what I needed to have done, and let me know exactly what to expect. I work 12-hr shifts and really needed someone to just come in and clean for me during my work hours. Here in Huntsville/Madison, we do not have many options for last minute decisions. Paid well in excess of $300 to have a "move-in" cleaning done to my house. The 4000 sq/ft house was completely empty at the time. Two cleaners "completed" the job in only 2 hours and it shows. Pitiful job. Still finding areas they didn't even touch. Especially disappointed after paying extra for specific things to be cleaned. Never again.

I hired them three times, the first cleaning was excellent (Rubi and Vanessa) the second was ok, the third one was terrible! (by Georgia and Marquee) they took 40 minutes to "clean" my house, they complaint about the owner and his business practices while there (not very professional), and almost left without saying goodbye, they left in a hurry … and then I figured out why… they broke the wedding gift my husband gave me (made by hand in another country). They didn't even told me! my house was not clean and the job was poorly completed .
Later the owner reimbursed the price of my wedding gift and he sent someone to clean properly (Vanessa) and she did a good job; however, at this time I don't feel comfortable bringing them to my home again.

I hired Rocket Maids and aside from one of the maids breaking a bathroom fixture, they did a very nice job cleaning. The maids are kind and thorough. However, I am still waiting for the fixture to be replaced and that has been the biggest problem to get done, although to be fair, partly because of my travel schedule. I will revisit this review once the fixture has been repaired.

Today I had the two cleaning done. I love Liz and Patti and they knew I needed special treatment today so despite my air conditioner leaking onto my second bedroom carpet and my ice maker going out and being repaired, Shae and Ebony made light work of clutter and dirt.
This company is so trustworthy and caring. If it is not done right or to your satisfaction, they make it right.
The price is right and they are always on time.
And my dogs and cat love the girls.

Arrived at 9:15, done with "deep cleaning" by 1:45 for 2800 sq ft unfurnished house. Ordered pizza delivery and left at one point to get drinks at gas station. Told us they cleaned oven, stove, fridge but we later realized they didn't touch dirty microwave or dishwasher with items inside. Left streaks on windows and put stickers on toilets, maybe to prove they touched them. Left visible dust, hairs, and sticky spots on floors in every room. Seemed like they sprayed a sanitizer to make the house smell better when we walked in, but maybe that was to cover up a pizza smell. $700 for 4.5 hours of highway robbery before we moved into house.

I gave them 3 stars on google but the more I got through the house the less stars I'm realizing they deserve. They didnt mop our tile floors, which go though the entire house. I think maybe the vacuumed them? They are sticky and have stains everywhere. (This was a cleaning of a house we just bought and they "cleaned" before we moved in) They also missed the outside of the oven, outside of the microwave. I'm currently cleaning out all the kitchen cabinets because it seems like they missed those too. I'm going to end up cleaning the entire house because I don't trust the work they did. In the end we spent $300 on absolutely nothing.

I got a deep clean to start my house cleaning journey. I have a 1yr and a baby on the way so spring cleaning myself just isn't an option. I was very satisfied with my service! Both ladies were nice and very friendly. I had to leave shortly after they started but when I came back they were still hard at work and wrapping up. When they left and I looked over everything I was very pleased. No signs of dust or toddler splattered blinds. They even moved the furniture and picked up anything that was under the couches. My only complaint is I wish they cleaned my countertops a little better but the way they scrubbed my cabinets…all is forgiven.

I 100% do not recommend Two Maids and a Mop for Move-In cleaning. I should have read the reviews more thoroughly. I was moving from a rental house into a new house 30 minutes away and since I had to clean my rental myself I thought it would be amazing to have "professional" cleaners go to the new house for a fresh start. The appointment booker gave me a rundown of what would be cleaned for move-in and I was sent an email packet with the list of everything included. This feels like absolute false advertising after seeing the results. The first team sent out (Virginia and Fay?) just absolutely, comically, frustratingly did a horrible job. The inside and outside of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets weren't even wiped down, the inside of the fridge and freezer weren't cleaned, the baseboards, window ledges and light fixtures were still dirty/dusty, the toilets weren't cleaned, the floors still had debris so they didn't even appear swept or mopped, among other things. ALL THESE TASKS ARE LISTED AS BEING PART OF A MOVE-IN CLEANING. A second team (Kalyssa and Caitlyn) was sent out 5 days later and did a much more thorough cleaning. I gave them a good review through the company so they could be paid well. I didn't notice until I was unpacking in the kitchen later that only the cabinet shelves at eye level were wiped down and all the (many) other shelves higher and lower were still covered in dust and debris. I'm of average height and could reach them with a 2-step step ladder, which is their cleaning height limit according to the email package. So I had to spend a long time cleaning cabinets after paying a lot of money for two teams to clean the one thing I was looking to get cleaned most. (The cabinets.) I also didn't notice until later that tubs aren't even included in a move-in cleaning. Cool! If you want to spend your money to have someone clean an empty house so you can move in, I would find an honest independent cleaner who takes pride in their work. (Photo shows the clean lower shelf and dirty upper shelf in a kitchen cabinet, every cabinet (10+) was like this. The dust and dark spots came off with a damp sponge.)

I used them for 5 years. Over the last few months quality had gotten worse and worse. They missed entire rooms in the house, skipped bathtubs and clearly only cleaned certain areas. I complained and it was fixed for a bit and then got even worse. They broke our shower and left the pieces on the counter with a note that said "sorry your shower fell down." That is a repair that costs hundreds of dollars and they offers us money off our next cleaning. Finally, the last cleaning was so bad that I had to let them go.

There are several home cleaning services in the Huntsville area, and we think it's important to have a business that is licensed, bonded, and insured. We started with these guys (actually, they're all female) about a year ago, and asked them to come in once a month to clean a moderately large house that did not require a lot of effort.
Things started off great; they would show up about 9 AM with 2 – 3 people, stay for 2 – 3 hours, and would do a bit extra, e.g. refrigerator or stove (and charge us a bit extra) when we asked for it. After about 3 – 4 months, though, the time commitment and the quality of the work went down. They started arriving closer to 11 and leaving closer to noon, would frequently forget to empty bathroom and/or bedroom wastebins, do an incomplete job on a bathroom shower, and frequently leave footprints on the hardwood floor.
We gave gentle negative feedback 2 – 3 times over the course of a year; each time, the owner apologized, and promised to either do better the next time, or come out and redo things. However, things never really improved. Our most recent experience was awful; we returned from a vacation a day after they cleaned, and discovered that the hardwood floor looked worse than when we left, with dirt and stains that were painfully obvious, and bedrooms and bathrooms that were halfway done.
Their website says, "Just because we clean your toilets doesn't mean we can't look, talk, act and clean like a professional!" That statement has some truth to it because our toilets have not been especially clean. On a positive note, nothing was ever broken or stolen, and they returned our key promptly. That's a pretty low bar for a cleaning service but it's why I gave them two stars rather than one.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd give 2 Maids & A Mop an 8. I've been using them since mid December of last year. For the most part, I've been pleased. I requested one specific lady to clean and they granted my request. I also requested an early appointment and they've gone out of their way to make that happen. I have the premium and touchup service. The premium has been good, the touch up has been just ok. The last touchup was very so-so, floors didn't look like they'd been mopped and the master bathroom shower door hadn't been cleaned. But all in all, I still think they're a good cleaning service.

The deep cleaning was less than satisfactory which I had discussed with Liz.
We agreed to try the regular cleaning which was another disappointment. When I came in it felt clean until I sat on the couch. I noticed the glass end table and lamp had not been cleaned. I checked the other end table and lamp and they had not been cleaned as well. Later I noticed that the area to the left of my sink between the backsplash and my cutting board had not been cleaned.
I do not have a large house by any means so it should not be difficult to clean, and the price I have to pay should warrant a better job. Looks like I am going to have to look for a better service.

Huntsville Chem-Dry Carpet Cleaning Honest Reviews
I gave them 2 stars because they booked an appointment and showed up. $300 and I'm still vacuuming up dog hair from the previous owner. No pets here and there are still pee spots in the house you can smell. 2100 square foot house and he was here for about 30 minutes set-up to drive away – I asked, "did you clean the carpet", "oh yeah – all done." This is a great business model at $10 a minute. They should spend more time on their craft. I've had carpets cleaned in 3 houses in the past year and this is a first – I have to buy a carpet cleaner to clean "cleaned" carpet. The carpets (that were cleaned) were wet more than 24 hours later, and very much not clean (not sure what Chem-dry means).
After looking at this review, I'm not sure what their business really is.
