Happy Earth cleaned my house until I moved out of Minneapolis and too far out of their service area. They offer excellent, personalized service. I originally tried them out because I liked they use earth friendly cleaning products, and they were able to help me finally organize my home which is something I'm not very good. I continued using them because they did such a nice job.
Marion's organization of my home ridded me of a lot of clutter, and made my living area much more functional. I could find anything I needed much more easily, and it became easier for me to maintain my home more easily from day to day. On cleaning days, I easily picked up the basics in the morning or the night before. After the cleaners came & went, I had a nicely cleaned home, and it smelled nice. Other services us harsh cleaners with smells I find irritating, but not Happy Earth.
When I was home when the cleaning people were there, they were always very nice people who worked thoughtfully and diligently. They took care of whatever I needed in the amount of time we had planned. When I wasn't home, they came in, properly disarmed my alarm, took care of business, and left my home so it was inviting when I returned. Whenever they had finished the usual with extra time, they filled the time doing extras which I previously listed could be done. If those had been done recently and looked good, they cleaned other things which needed to be done.
I highly recommend Happy Earth to anyone who could use a cleaning service. They made my life much happier, giving me a clean, pleasant home. I no longer had to trade off a clean, functional home to have the time to do things I really enjoyed and wanted to do. You should give them a try if you ever wish you had more time to do the things you love.

I've had bad experiences with multiple cleaning companies in the Minneapolis area. It was to the point I thought I wouldn't be able to find a cleaning service. I found Happy Earth through a neighbor recommendation. Someone from their company came out and toured my house. They asked me specially what I wanted in my cleaning. This was so helpful! After vetting a half dozen cleaners, I decided on happy earth and I'm very glad that I did! Their sales person was delightful, kind and caring. He listened to my needs and was careful in detailing them. I was provided an estimate very soon after the appointment. The crews are thorough and very pleasant people. They leave the house with a feel-good clean. There is a rotation of 6 to 8 people who now know my house and how to clean it so things run very smoothly. Their office staff is competent, calm and detail oriented. I receive a summary of the clean after each session and an invoice emailed to me for my records. Bonus: they adore my kitties and are definitely pet lovers in general. I love that this company is community oriented and supports local shelters and food banks. Overall: I can't say enough good things about happy earth cleaners. I am delighted to have found them and I will continue to use them… happily.

Happy Earth is awesome! We have been using them for about 8 months, every 2 weeks. They do a great job. They are very organized, in that we had a planning session with their representative before cleaning started, and very clearly identified what tasks would be a part of the regular basic cleaning, and what tasks would be considered "extras", being tasks that could be done if they have time, but would not necessarily be done in every visit. That transparency has been really helpful. It's a different crew on almost every visit, but everyone is really nice and friendly. They are also pet friendly, so we have felt very comfortable having our pets around during cleanings. Overall we are very happy with Happy Earth, and would recommend them to anyone looking for environmentally-friendly house cleaning.

Jesse and Marion and the crew at Happy Earth are punctual, professional and most importantly, really GREAT at communication. My bathroom porcelain SPARKLED and the tired, yucky carpet leading to our second floor looked refreshed and fluffy after they were done with it. They lovingly made my kids' beds and took the trash out to the garbage when they were done. So, HE has been terrific. I had back surgery that just didn't turn out that well and I was really discouraged about how little I could do around the house and how messy things were getting.
To the rescue came they diligent and friendly folks at HE.
If you haven't had your house cleaned in a long time, or ever, expect the first visit to be between 8 and 10 total person hours. It really takes that time to do things right.
After that, 2 – 5 person hours usually does it, or less if you have them come back frequently.
They are upfront and spot-on with their estimates and services and easy to work with. Cleaners are nice folks who really work hard and get to task…appear to be very thorough and honest.
They use earth friendly cleaning products that leave little or no odors or residue and they really have some great cleaning trucks using these products that are very effective. I have been very pleased with their work.

We hired Happy Earth Cleaning Service to start cleaning our home bi-weekly about two months ago. It's been quite a pleasure working with their staff. Marion and Jen are great and making you feel comfortable and ensuring that you understand that they genuinely want to meet your needs. I think this is important because their services are so customizable and everyone's expectations are different. Things may not always be 100% as you feel are perfect but they want to know and want to make you happy. Simply set forth your expectations and priorities and they'll strive to put a smile on your face. I am impressed with what they can do given the time provided. Since you pay by the hour, it's nice to know they are working hard while they are "on the clock". I come home to a clean house and appreciate all their effort. It shows that they work hard. Again, everything may not be 100% perfect but they are willing to work hard with time constraint and are eager to understand your priorities. They make the most of what they are given. Considering I cant afford to pay them for a ton of time, that's an important characteristic of Happy Earth Cleaning Service. I do not have any other experience with cleaning services but I expect that this incredible willingness to make a cleaning schedule for us work on our budget that also largely meets our needs is not to be taken for granted.
I really love that they use eco-friendly products. I'm allergic to perfumes and sensitive to chemical exposure so this is a big plus for me.

But this is a very "niche" service company as they are unable to meet for a consultation after 4pm during the week or anytime on weekends…this is very limiting (to them as a service company) as the most common work hours (i believe) are 9-5pm, Mon-Fri. I'm looking for a house cleaner since i work a full time job and do not get home until after 6pm on the week days. If anyone has any great recommendations for me, please let me know. Thanks.

I was hesitant about hiring someone to clean my house. Not because I'm afraid of strangers in my personal space, but because I have a tiny house and no real reason beyond laziness to need someone to come in and clean for me. But then I met Marion. She's awesome. She made me feel like it was okay to have someone clean for me, and not because I was going to pay her to do so, but because SHE has someone clean for HER. (Note: She's not lazy or slovenly, just very, very busy because SHE'S AWESOME!) And she played with my cat and excused my over-shedding dog…and her cleaning crews play with my pets, let my dog out and prevent my crazy cat from escaping all while making my house sparkly clean. And I have to add that twice I've had either an email or a phone message from Marion or someone on her crew following up with me on something ridiculous that my dog has done (One time it was getting in the garbage – Marion sat with him to make sure he was okay and let him out a couple of times to make sure he didn't have any accidents. How cool is that?!). They are awesome. And worth paying for. And, although I still feel silly (because my house is really small), I also look forward to coming home from work once a month to a clean house and happy pets.
As for the cleaning…FANTASTIC. The initial cleaning was an all-over, and the subsequent follow ups have kept everything tidy. They've washed down my cabinet fronts, cleaned the baseboards, the vacuuming (with two animals, chaos and fur rule my home) alone must take them hours, and they make my bed, change the sheets, whatever I need done, they've done it…even if I don't realize I need it! Seriously, just call, you'll be happy you did.

I hired Happy Earth Cleaning Service 3 months ago and I've been extremely pleased! I'm a small business owner and between travel, work and social engagements I just can't find time to address all the cleaning details. I also have a golden retriever that keeps my small vacuum busy all the time. When I hired Marion, I was very impressed with her work and professionalism. I was also drawn to her passion and support for animals and the fact that she uses organic cleaning materials. Meaghan and June performed a move-in cleaning and they did a great job! I was home during this cleaning and was amazed the ladies actually cleaned the hardwood floors while on the ground. I've had a half a dozen cleaning services while living in many different states and I have never witnessed this type of cleaning. Customer service was awesome by Jesse. I was quoted a certain amount of time for the cleaning service and when the items were not quite complete, the ladies continued to perform, while not in a rush. They still took the time to walk through the house once the cleaning was complete to make sure I was completely satisfied. Highly recommend Happy Earth Cleaning!

Larry and Tara are awesome! Thorough from the very start! They work as a team and do not use a bunch of harsh chemicals. My favorite part was the making of my bed was included in the service. It seems like a small thing, but, it's big! When you have a stressful job and need a place to crawl into at the end of a long day….the creative way she made my bed, made me smile and feel relaxed as I fell asleep. Tara squeezed me in on short notice and from our chat on Yelp, comparing other bid requests, I could tell she was not a fly by night operation or would overlook details. I just came off a bad experience with another cleaning company I found on Groupon and after multiple scheduling mishaps and half-hearted attempt at cleaning, I decided to cut bait and go with A Fresh Palette. Tara and her husband Larry arrived early after it had just snowed, Larry sweeped the walk ahead of me getting there, totally unexpected but helped from tracking snow in. This was a move-out/deep clean type cleaning and even just talking with them and showing them the areas in need of attention, I could tell they genuinely cared about doing the job right and listening to my requests. They came equipped with equipment and products that are not necessarily off the shelf at Target including a steamer they used to get at very old grime at various places. They worked quickly but also did not rush the job, and clearly had an established process of how they worked.
I would totally use A Fresh Palette again and they were also just personable and easy to communicate with. Overall, a pleasure to work with. My palette is cleansed 🙂

I called several services and no one could get to us in a timely fashion. I spoke directly to Dave and he was terrific in getting our project scheduled. Our home was incredible when the women were done with it! There were things cleaned that have not been touched in (literally) months. First of all Sarah is so amazing to work with. Excellent customer service, quick responses, and great flexibility. We recently had Maid Pro out for a move out clean and could not be happier.
