The house is very old and not kept up very well at all, but she loved the Victorian Architecture.
So, I looked up cleaning companies and called Clean to Go!
They did an amazing, over the top cleaning job! They had 3 women and a supervisor there. They spent the entire day cleaning everything from top to bottom.
We couldn't be more pleased we there service.
I suggested to my daughter to have them come every two weeks to clean to give her a break after a busy work week.

I hired DO cleaning to do a move-in/deep clean for our new house. Our house was quite large, new and had accumulated a good amount dust over the past several months. The team from DO cleaning responded promptly and offered a very reasonable price compared to other companies I searched for. They also were flexible with payment and accepted venmo which was great. 3 cleaners came to our house and worked for 4+ hours. They were all very nice and accommodating, asked for specifics when it came to cleaning the house and what we wanted to focus on, and also most importantly did a great job with the deep clean. Today I had first home cleaning appointment with Diana & Oscar and I couldn't be more satisfied. They worked silently for about 2.5 hours leaving everything clean as we had discussed and agreed on beforehand. When I found couple of minor things during post cleaning inspection, Oscar happily re-did those areas. Apart from actual cleaning appointment, Oscar is also very diligent and prompt in terms of communication. Everything about DO has been an absolute pleasure. They came and were able to give us a quote without any hassle. They were honest and provided reasonable expectations. We set a date and they were prompt and prepared. They proved to be professional and efficient. They shampooed carpet, washed walls, and cleaned every inch of our house. We were very pleased with everything done. They didn't hit EVERY single inch, like maybe they didn't hit a wall or ceiling or two. So if you're REALLY a stickler, maybe keep an eye on them, but they were absolutely thorough enough that were pleased with the results. Horrible. Paid for a DEEP clean and we got nothing of the sort. We paid for the fridge and oven to be cleaned. Not good. Clearly, lazy cleaners. Terrible. Left cleaning solution around the oven edges. Didn't even clean the fridge drawer. Dust under books. Dust under furniture. Didn't take the garbage out. Instead, left the garbage bag by the trash can. They only get 2 stars because they were on time.

It was so easy to schedule. We were able to leave the door unlocked and the two who came to clean got the job done and let themselves out.
When we went back to do a final check before turning in our keys, I was so thrilled. So many stains that I could never get out were gone. Everything looked spotless. Very appreciative for such a great service. The price is worth it and very reasonable in my opinion.

I picked this company based on the various yelp reviews. We requested a move in clean which was planned 3 hours before the movers were coming with our furniture, etc.. in hindsight I probably shouldn't have booked this so close in time to the movers but we had an unplanned, urgent timeline (and yes cleaning effort the movers arriving was a little nutty but was attempting to just get a top layer of grime off of things). The initial interaction was quick and efficient but that's where the service ended.
We have a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home and two women showed up – late, with coffees in hand and had the worst attitudes. During the cleaning, I was also cleaning and rearranging the kitchen cabinets and the one woman kept glaring at me haha. It made our time together very awkward and uncomfortable.
After the cleaning was over, which seemingly went on forever haha they had me go inspect all of the rooms and….the bathroom essentially hadn't been touched nor had the cabinets through the house. I didn't really have time – nor did I feel comfortable – asking if they could go through it again so I said it's fine. Then they tried to give me a business card so I could rebook them but all I could think about is how I never wanted them to return again.
There was still dust and crumbs on the floors throughout the house but I decided to just do it myself as the movers started to arrive.

About a month ago I unfortunately ordered a service from that company. I paid more then $200 for so called cleaning. In 25!!! minutes the team called me to come back since they already finished.
General cleaning was kind of OK. I still needed to clean after they left, but at least they did some cleaning. Btw it was moving out cleaning and the apartment itself wasnt dirty, I just needed to wipe the dust, clean the fridge etc.
But the main reason for my 1 star review is windows. I paid $40 for that. When we came back I specifically asked them if they cleaned the windows and they said they did. I tend to trust people when they tell me directly in my face that they did the job so I didn't want to check it in front of them while they were standing in a row waiting for my decision. After they left I took a piece of paper towel and wiped the window. The paper towel turned GRAY! They didn't even wipe the dust!!! They lied to me after I paid them $240 for TWENTY FIVE MINUTES CLEANING!
I almost forgot about these people, even though I was so angry at them. But two days ago I received an email from them asking to rate the service. After I rate them with a sad red smile face the site told me that I cannot rate them because the link expired!

I was holding off on writing this review…but here it goes. I am in the market for a biweekly cleaning service and when I researched I came upon Super Maids. I called to get a quote and to make an appointment for a deep clean. They were supposed to be here at 9am and to my surprise one of the girls showed up at 8:40, which was great, the second girl showed up maybe 30/40 mins later. I showed her around my house and explained everything that needed to be done, I figured they know what a deep clean is. After they left I went to look around and was disappointed that a lot of corners were left unswept and in the bathroom they barley cleaned the shower and some of my furniture was not dusted/cleaned and a few mirrors too.
I called to give feedback and the owner told me to send an email and that someone would get back to me within 24 hours, well it's 144 hours later and no response. Hence the review.
I was happy to think I could obtain their service on a biweekly basis but I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They need to train their employees better and grasp the understanding of deep cleaning.

I hired them to do a move out clean! The apartment was completely empty and I wasnt there when they came. They were about 45 mins early then I was told of their arrival time. They did a GREAT job on the fridge and windowsills.
Only concern was that there was still some dust on the floors and on the stairs. Perhaps particular areas were rushed. Also, particular shelves were not wiped down and a small carpet was thrown aside the front door when I came back. Other than that, they did a nice job.

I hired Super Maids for a move out cleaning. In the last minute I needed to push back the start time because my movers arrived late. Super Maids was extremely flexible in accommodating my request. They arrived an hour later and right on time. The apartment was visibly clean (there was quite a lot of dust along the floor molding) as were the interior and exterior of all cabinets. A nasty rust stain in the tub was GONE! Note that cleaning the interior of the fridge and freezer wasn't included, nor were the windows.

This was the worst experience I've had in recent memory. Scheduled a 9:30 am cleaning for our tiny 1 bedroom apartment that we just moved out of. Waited in the parking lot for the maid, called at 9:35, was told the guy behind the desk would check the maid's GPS and get right back to us. He did, super apologetic, explaining that he'd mistakenly scheduled her to show up at 10. Ok, not a huge deal. He said she's leaving NYC now. Um, and be in Westport at 10?
Fast forward an hour of waiting in the parking lot, another few phone calls, including one guy yelling apologies that the maid received bad directions from a tow truck driver and should be in West Point soon. No, we're in Westport… ok, he'll call back in 5 minutes. She doesn't have directions to our apartment? Really?
Now 2 hours after the scheduled appointment and no returned call, we call someone new (actually same guy from 9:35) he's shocked no one has shown up! He'll call us back in 2 minutes, GUARANTEED. 15 minutes later we call him. he says the maid's phone is turned off. But he can get a NEW maid to the apartment in 25 minutes. Couldn't that have just happened when you realized you forgot my appointment 2 hours ago?
We cancelled the service and are staring at the charge pending on my debit card ($169 for 700 square feet?!!). I told myself paying this outrageous price would certainly be worth it, and the multiple text message and email confirmations gave me hope it would be a solid, stress-free service. Couldn't be further from reality. What a waste of my time and now I get to figure out when I'll be able to come back up to Westport and clean myself. Zero stars.

I used Super Maids one time a few months ago. I found the cleaning to be mediocre – they missed sweeping under the bed, and did not do a great job sweeping my stairs. I also paid extra for them to clean my oven and they did a terrible job there.
The company requested feedback from me to see how I liked the service. I explained that while the housekeeper was very sweet and polite, she did miss some areas of cleaning, which I itemized. The response from the company was "thank you for your feedback. We'd love to have (insert name of same housekeeper) assigned to cleaning your house on a weekly basis." Ummm…I think not. I just told you I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the service. Add to that they charge more than their competition, and I never used them again.

I am pregnant, 5 days from my due date, so needless to say I cannot clean even our small apartment by myself currently. So I hired a team from Supermaids to clean and shampoo the carpet.
Just as a PSA, the carpet shampoo is not a real carpet shampoo. We have had professional carpet cleaning twice now and I know that it takes at least 8 hours to dry. This crew has a small machine similar to a vacuum that doesn't get the carpet totally wet, and is able to dry in just 30 minutes. Had I known, I would NOT have paid for this extra add on. The machine is just not of the same caliber that we had previously, and I paid Supermaids almost as much. I was unable to get a refund on this, my only option was to have the same crew come back and do it again. The trouble spots unfortunately remain; it's just not a true carpet shampoo, it's more like a light carpet rinsing.
After the first cleaning, some things looked good – the crew did the dishes, which was nice, and made the bed. Both sinks looked pretty good. However some basics were missed – the carpets were not vacuumed all the way to the edges of the room, leaving dust bunnies between the wall and carpet. The blinds and baseboards were not dusted, and the linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom did not look mopped (still had superficial spots on it.)
I did call Supermaids to voice my disappointment and they said they would have the crew come back. The Supermaids team is quite pleasant to work with, but between the crew being late (both times,) the refusal to refund me the cost of the "carpet shampoo," and my overall disappointment with the cleaning, I cannot give out more stars. It probably all depends on the crew that you get.
What it comes down to is – if I'm going to pay for a cleaning, I'd like the cleaning to be of a higher level. The second round of cleaning resolved a few issues (vacuuming seems complete, baseboards and blinds are fine.) Supermaids staff did check in with me – the customer service was certainly better than the actual service I received. It's just a let down because this was a level of cleaning I could have done on my own. As a really pregnant person, I'm just too tired to push the issue. Consider it a $200+ learning experience :/

They absolutely did not disappoint – booking online was a piece of cake and a 2 person crew arrived right on time. They were lovely and highly efficient – the apartment was pristine within an hour. All the surfaces we haven't been able to get perfectly clean (our shower tiles, stainless steel appliances, etc) are now gleaming and it feels like a whole new home.

The worst everything. Terrible cleaners, horrible people. Don't believe anything they say. When their "driver" picked them up, he refused to honor their stated policy of reviewing and correcting any problems – and there were plenty of problems. They spent 2 hours in the bathroom and I still had to spend another 1/2 hour. This is a bathroom that was already clean as I have a housekeeper 3 days a week. In fact, when I pointed out the problems, he laughed at me. Fortunately these scammers are known to Amex so I was totally protected. Stay away.

So I just moved into my own place (Studio apartment) and explained to Jenny that I needed her to get the nooks and crannies in crevices in the bathroom and kitchen left from the other tenant. She couldn't find a parking space so i noticed that she was rushing the job because she had parked illegally. Mind you, my superintendent said that she could park in the lot behind my building until she finished her job and I told her this once she told me she parked illegally. She suggested for me to go downstairs with her so that she could move it to the designated spot, however, I wasn't going to leave the other woman in my house ALONE! (It was Jenny and another woman there to clean that I wasn't aware of initially) I don't know them, just like they don't know me! So she decided NOT to go downstairs because I told her they both needed to leave my house so that I can lock up and show her where she would leave her car. She kept stating "I hope I don't get towed" which means she was more worried about her car rather than cleaning my apartment thoroughly. Needless to say, she didn't do a great job and rushed through it! I ended up going back after her and wiping down mostly everything! Granted they say "Quality over Quantity" but because of her reviews and her low price, I decided to give her a try! Man, how I wish I could turn back the hands of time! I tried to Zelle her her funds but for whatever reason it took over 20 min to be sent to her! I tried explaining this to her but she thought I was trying to swindle her, but that's NOT my character. She was overly annoyed and even threaten to call the police if she didn't get her measly $110 because I even tipped her! which I think is OVERPRICED for the terrible job she did! I ended up sweeping after her (because she only has a vacuum) and I even mopped again and then went to the bathroom to wipe down everything THE RIGHT WAY! I will NEVER use her service again and I highly suggest that YOU don't either! And to think, I even gave her a tip :-/

To respond to your response Jenny, I initially told you that the previous tenant JUST MOVED OUT and that I needed you to get all the nooks and crannies out of the crevices in the bathroom and the kitchen. I'm not sure how much more of an explanation was needed on your end, however, going forward maybe you SHOULD come to the house FIRST and decipher for yourself. I asked you to come back and vacuum the living room again being that you didn't have a BROOM to sweep. There was a lot of cat food still on the floor but you DENIED me of cleaning it again because "you had to get to your next appointment". I didn't want you to come back in the house because you were clearly in a rush ever since you stepped foot into the apartment! Maybe next time YOU can do a much thorough job at cleaning and not be in a rush to move your vehicle. Also moving forward you should also let your next clients know that it's not only you coming into the home to clean and that you have someone else with you!

It took several attempts to get her phone number and then when I called her to speak with her on the phone – she was extremely rude and told me that she doesn't speak to anyone on the phone. Needless to say, if she was that rude on first contact that it says a lot about her, her work effort and professionalism. Needless to say, she won't be cleaning my house.

I want to thank Jenny for making the time to come clean my home the morning of 8/16. Although the job was completed, there was some misunderstandings regarding the work that was done. As someone who reached out to her for help, and willing to pay the price, I shouldn't have felt bad about the expectations of the cleaning.
She came to my home on 8/15 for a price estimate. After that was done, Jenny told me she could priority schedule me for the next morning, which I thought was great. On the morning of the cleaning, she acted very annoyed with everything we talked about to get done. Much of the work suddenly became an issue, and even upped the price without my knowledge. The cleaning was unsatisfactory at a high price.
Although I always treat people with respect, I felt she was a little to confident in her work and not as grateful as she should have been. We live in world where affording this job is a luxury, not a necessity. All in all, it seemed that she over extended herself to get paid, but did unsatisfactory work.
I called her to discuss the issue, and she seemed very remorseful. She didnt deny what happened. She promised to redeem herself which we will wait to see.

They agreed to clean my house as a continued cleaning service. At first I wasn't happy because they didn't even wipe down the counters in the kitchen and claimed it was done. I pointed it out not because I was "picky" as she said to my nanny but because it was dirty and poorly cleaned. I usually pay $90-100 for my home and it cost $120 so I think I deserve clean counters. Mind you I had to wait three weeks because she canceled and then made comments how the house wasn't cleaned in 3 weeks… that's because I was waiting for them to come. The house was cleaned just not deep cleaned during that time.
Long story short I came home from work and the counters looked good and she went over all the dirty areas again. I was happy with the end job. I even texted the owner that the house looked nice. She then never contacted me again. I reached out 3 times and no response for continued service. I then tried through email and she finally responded they were not available… so unprofessional don't bother with them if you are looking for a continued service and god forbid if you point out something like clean counters! What a waste of my time… three weeks and almost two weeks for a response!

Larry is the most sincere, hardworking cleaner I've ever met!! He leaves a trail of unbelievable cleanliness wherever he has been, and understands everything you would like him to do.
