We live between NYC and London, but have a vacation rental under our townhouse in Savannah, and we have had a tough time finding competent cleaners in Savannah, nonetheless being so rarely there (though reliable, whenever we would visit without saying that we were coming, we would check on their work and they'd have been so lazy they wouldn't even leave toilet paper, everything would be misplaced, etc.).
Unfortunately, Sarah was much the same – in addition to trying to rip us off.
A guest contacted both us and Airbnb and stated that they did not even stay in the listing, yet Sarah had gone by and "cleaned" after their check out date, and mentioned nothing about the bed not being slept in, bathroom not being used, etc. She just charged us a regular cleaning rate, didn't mention anything being amiss, and then attacked US when we questioned why she didn't mention the person not even STAYING there, and instead pretending to clean – her reply was to attack us and demand that "she be payed" (to which we asked how much she even expected having not actually cleaned, but pretending to have done), and say that she was quitting, she "cleans 6 other houses and don't need to clean for us."
Clearly, we would question her truthfulness and morals considering the situation at hand, and instead of issuing any sort of apology, she continued to send us rude texts including "deleting your number and being done with y'all," and how her husband "said to let it go, but she aint that type of person." She also refused to drop off the linens, keys from the UK that can only be copied in person on Kensington High Street for $250 apiece, etc. when we were next visiting, but insisted on leaving them inside the vacation rental itself (less than ideal with vacation renters going in and out).
This experience would take the cake on poor quality cleaners in that town.

I moved to Savannah at the beginning of the year and was looking for a good and trusting Cleanig service. I reached out to Sarah and she was so friendly and helpful. She came the next day and went over and above with everything. I loved the lady that cleaned my apartment before my move, and thought it would be impossible to find someone as good. Sarah proved me wrong. She's not just as good, she's better. My apartment has never been so clean. The smallest details that I wouldn't have even considered before, Sarah cleaned and made shine. She is as good with communication as she is with cleaning. Always communicating, easy going and one of the hardest workers I have ever met. I have now hired her on a bi-monthly basis and couldn't be any happier with my decision.
I'm writing this post because I am very hesitant about allowing strangers into my home and use reviews to learn more about people. I wrote it to hopefully help others like myself that are in need of a good, honest, trusting, hard working cleaning service.

Sarah's is amazing! We called them on a Monday for a one-time cleaning for a HUGE house (6 beds, 3.5 baths) and they came on Tuesday! Sarah's is professional and hardworking. They will call you back, text and keep constant communication if need be. Her partner called in sick on the day-of, but Sarah still managed to clean the whole house in 5 hours, only 1 hour over the estimated time despite the fact that her partner was absent. She's a powerhouse! She was willing to drive 2 miles to our main office to receive payment, too. She's flexible, professional, kind, prompt and does a good job.

Both my husband and I run our own businesses so we have ZERO time to take care of cleaning our house. Sure, we struggled through it and tried to stay on top of it but we could never really get ahead…then Sarah came in and changed our lives. Oh. My. Goodness. Our home has never been cleaner.

Not only will she call but she's amazing at communicating through text messages which just rocks my world. She'll let me know when she's on the way, extra availability, etc.

They'd showed up an hour late and then did a walk through for the "deluxe" cleaning service and reported back to the office. I have cameras and since I was unable to be home I was sure to check in. The woman kicked the toys around on my child's floor and when they reported back they said "it's REALLY BAD, like a 10. There's POOP on the floors and counters!?!? POOP?? I have never. I have small children so never is a stretch but I would never have left that, but this woman made it out like it was everywhere. I needed help. Four kids, my own business I wanted to get a cleaning and then continue every two weeks. For $425 I would assume they could do something. Nope. They refused. Said I'd need to clean prior to. What?! I literally told the rep I would pay for a second deep clean if necessary because I knew I needed the help. I am now on the search for a cleaning company that actually understands someone that needs a cleaning and not just dusting and wiping down.
My aunt cleans houses and I have heard some disgusting stories, my house is a mess. It's overdue for a good cleaning. But the way she talked on the phone was tough. $100 Non-refundable deposit is still a mystery.

Worst cleaning service ever! The ladies who cleaned our house did a HORRIBLE job – they left dust from fans on the furniture, dirty rags all over our house, broke a window blind and a light fixture!. They also used cleaning agents that smelled so strongly of chemicals it caused my daughter to have an asthma attack. When I called to complain the manager was extremely rude and accused me of lying! The cleaners admitted to the damage and then when I attempted to reschedule the reclean they refused to honor it! I was told the only day that was available was a Wednesday afternoon – which was when my husband was returning home from Iraq. It took 3 days of airing out the house for the smell to leave and at 7 months pregnant I had to reclean almost the entire house.
