Being from an Asian household, my mom has always been strict about us keeping the house clean even in the areas you'd never look for. My best attempt at cleaning would never satisfy my mom's expectations even to this day. Now I won't have to worry about that with House Cleaning SF.
The team from House Cleaning SF blew me away with their thorough and detailed cleaning. We have hired cleaners before but they were nowhere near the level of what House Cleaning SF accomplished. They were very friendly and communicated with me that it would take longer than usual. I'm glad they didn't rush the job and took the time.
The house smelled and looked like a 5-star hotel when we came in.
I'm planning on having them as my regular so I can freely invite my mom over without having to worry about her scolding me for my poor cleaning job.

This is the worst company I've dealt with. After enquiring and confirming an end of tenancy cleaning via email, I took a day off work and travelled 120 miles to meet the cleaners and let them in. Nobody showed up and when I eventually got hold of someone in the office they said that they hadn't booked me in (despite me having emails saying otherwise). They told me there were no cleaners available today and just hung up the phone on me without trying to resolve the problem. When I rang back they were completely rude, didn't listen (after a 20s phone call she just hung up again) and unapologetic. I really cannot believe how I've been treated don't waste your time.
I enquired as the company , on the surface, looks very professional and after speaking with Michaela I thought they sounded that way too. I was a little bit sceptical when Michaela wanted our card details to secure the booking as I wouldn't usually pay for a service I hadn't received yet, but we went along with it. The cleaner did not turn up and had allegedly been in an accident. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when they rebooked for the following day. again the cleaner didn't show, I was really annoyed and asked for a refund and to cancel the service. Michaela tried to say that no refund would be given due to "terms and conditions" on the website!
The cleaner then showed up 40 minutes after the booking time, no apology and when I told her it was too late she kissed her teeth at me and walked off! Low and behold, a couple of hours later ANOTHER payment was taken! After an hour on the phone to the bank fraud team we got our money back.
This company fraudulently took our money!!

Owner Noe was responsive to all my questions. I had a 3 person team show up, appeared to be husband, wife and teen daughter? They spoke minimal English which wasn't a problem. Our move-out unit was 3 bedroom, 2 bath about 1100 sq feet or a little less than that. We needed deep cleaning after moving our family of 9 out. I had my neighbor come and translate what we expected in the service and what areas to focus on and areas not to worry about. They did a superb job, cleaned for 3.5hours. Gave them water bottles and a snack halfway through.
Paid for service to Noe via Venmo and tipped them in cash. They were so appreciative of the tip, they truly deserved it.
If you're looking for a great team of cleaners for move-out cleaning, I highly recommend these guys. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the gentlemen and ladies who came through for us but I do plan on hiring them again in the near future for a monthly deep cleaning on my current unit.

I was thoroughly impressed about how they would finish a section of the house then come back and check with us to confirm that it was good. Finishing new smaller section, come back and check with us. This is not standard having used about five different providers in the Bay Area who normally rush through everything, get done and then ask you if it's OK before asking for payment.
Both people were incredibly kind and since they were a husband and wife duo, provided a great conversation track for my wife and I.
I can't say enough about their attention to detail. They even lifted up furniture to make sure that the under areas that were blocked off by wood decorations were actually cleaned and the cob webs removed.

Messaged this company for an estimate. Provided square footage of my home, number of rooms, info on what kind of cleaning we're looking for. They were the only company I contacted that asked for pictures of the inside of our home. When I let them know that no one else asked for that and that there's also not a way for me to send pictures through Yelp messenger they just ignored me. When I pinged them again today they just responded with "sorry not available" .. as in not available ever if you can't/wont send pictures of the inside of your home through a site that does not even provide image sending functionality. Seems really strange and rude but clearly they don't want my business.

I contacted Silvia Ribero Cleaning over Yelp, and they quickly set up an appointment only a day or so out. They arrived on time, and cleaned quickly and thoroughly.
Of special note, they needed no direction in being careful around special equipment like 3d printers, musical instruments and game consoles. While tidying up they, were sure to not place items in places I couldn't find them.
One minor note is that while they have a practical ability in speaking English, they are not fluent in detailed English, but with a little help from Google Translate this is no issue at all.
They accept payment through zelle and cash.

I needed a deep cleaning before moving out from my apartment. Silvia was fast in responding and confirming the request. The team showed up on time, they were attentive and trustworthy, and did an exceptional service.

Starting off they were fast to respond to my inquiry and set up an appointment. I was nervous because I was hoping to get the house cleaned before the family came home, but they quickly put that worry to ease.
Upon arriving, I showed them the random asks I had (dusting those hard to reach spots, cleaning inside the bathroom drawers, ex). They soon got to work quickly, without needing any supervision. It took about ~3hrs to clean the house.
After the finished, I did a walk through of the apartment. They cleaned deeper than I actually expected. Such as, taking things off shelves to clean and shine rather than just dusting around things. They also wiped down my plant pots which I didn't even mention, but was great.
Note: I did not find any language barriers when working with them.

Andrea was very responsive through Yelp. Had no issues booking. They were prompt and on time. They did a great job deep cleaning the bathroom and removing the tub and sink stains. I will say they could have done a better job at cleaning the windows as I had to touch it up after they left but other than that, they did a great job. The two cleaners were also really nice and took their shoes off when they entered which I appreciated!

We hired Green Cleaning SF to clean our new condo.
1) Hiring Hugo was super easy — he was super clear with what was included/excluded, pricing, and expectations. He was super responsive and easy to book. Was not the cheapest quote we got, but based on other folks reviews, we decided to spend the extra few hundred. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!
2) Hugo was super flexible with timing. Our home close got delayed and he was able to accommodate last minute changes in our schedule. We communicated over text and was super easy to reschedule.
3) The service itself was amazing. They went above and beyond and cleaned our place at a great detail. All corners and hidden places were reached, they were super detailed, and did not left anything behind. They also went above and beyond and helped us with a few things that the previous owners hadn't fixed. Their work was really impressive.

I've used Green Cleaning twice and have been very happy with both services. I schedule my appointments ahead of time through Hugo via text – he's very responsive and friendly to communicate with. He is usually able to accommodate my scheduling requests – there seems to be a fairly large team of cleaners and he will schedule them on an as-available basis according to my scheduling preference.
The first service, I had two women. It took them just a little over 3 hours to clean my home. They were very thorough with their cleaning and took out my trash and recycling for me. For my second service, I was only assigned one lady (Barbara) so I thought that it would probably take her twice as long. Surprisingly, it only took her about 2.5 hours to finish her cleaning. Part of me was doubtful that she could be as thorough working on her own and finishing in less time, but after doing a walk through after, I was very pleasantly surprised by how much she was able to accomplish in so little time – very efficient! Payment is also quick and easy – you just Venmo the ladies directly. They never seem to expect any gratuity and are sincerely grateful if you do decide to provide a little something extra on top.
The company markets themselves as using green products. This was a big seller for me as I have several pets as well as a baby at home and I want to make sure they're all protected.

Our home is so much more comfortable after they've done a cleaning. It's sparkling clean and never smells of harsh chemicals (which is very important to me). And their prices are so reasonable.

From beginning to end, my experience with Green Cleaning SF was grand!
After a busy few months (holidays included) without being able to do a deep cleaning of the house, I requested a quote from Green Cleaning SF via Yelp. Hugo responded fast, gave me an easy quote, and told me they were available to do the cleaning on the date I requested. (I say, "easy quote" because he gave me a hard dollar number instead of the annoying "need more information" that some businesses on Yelp give.) He told me who was coming (Ana and Rodrigo).
On the day of the cleaning, Ana and Rodrigo came a couple minutes early. They were very pleasant and got started right away. I watched them work. They were so efficient – thorough and not rushed (2 hours for a 2br & 1ba home). I was so impressed.
I also noted some things about them that I did not like about other cleaners.

4) their attention to detail is impeccable. I'm a health inspector by trade, so this for me is key for a great house cleaner! I can't stop raving about them.
I've hired 4 other cleaners before this. I never hired 3 of them again because I didn't like their job. I always thought I could do better than they did. And 1 stopped responding to me even though I liked her job. However, Ana and Rodrigo blew me away. They did such a great job. (I hope they like their tip. :)) They even messaged me after they left, thanking ME. I'm blown away. I truly felt I was left with a clean home! I feel I can relax, now that the house is so clean.
I can tell Hugo is organized, and he responds to messages FAST. He's very pleasant, polite, respectful, straightforward, and has a great attitude over Yelp messaging (unlike other cleaners who ask you too many questions, are too picky, or talk too much nonsense). I can tell Hugo only sends cleaners that you can trust to do a good job. I've already inquired with Hugo about regular cleaning! I had some very tough stains on my carpeted stairs. So bad I put off even trying to clean them. Finally I couldn't take it anymore. I began my search to find a company to come and give it a try. I found Dalia's Cleaning Service. After a few texts we set up a time. Rolando arrived right when he said he would and assessed the job and began working with very capable assistant, (also his son).
They worked quickly and efficiently with their state of the art equipment.
I couldn't believe the results. All the stains removed. Fresh clean looking stairs. See the photos. Before and after.

Hired this company for a post construction clean up of a three story house. They were responsive and on time, but ultimately did not do the work that they were hired to do.
Manager texted me after they left saying that they cleaned the entire house including the kitchen and windows (see below). I did a quick walkthrough after they left and it seemed fine so I issued full payment. Unfortunately upon closer inspection the next day after we moved in, I found that the job was in fact incomplete.
Inside of kitchen cabinets were not touched, full of dust. Several windows were not cleaned or only cleaned partially.
When I gave the manager a chance to rectify by either coming back for a quick touchup or issuing a partial refund she refused, blaming the fact that I had some construction workers on site at the time preventing her from doing their job. This was news to me.
Unfortunate, as I would've expected more integrity from a company with such good reviews.
If you do hire them, I would recommend withholding full payment until you have a chance to thoroughly inspect everything, don't simply rely on good faith despite the reviews.

We recently bought a new home in the East Bay, and after using Rolando and Dalia every 3 months for years in SF, I asked if they'd travel to do a move-in clean and clean the carpets in our new home. They graciously accommodated our schedule coming after painters and contractors and right before we moved in. The house and carpets were spotless.
I then BEGGED them to travel north to our vacation rental in Sonoma. I just paid someone else hundreds of dollars to clean our rugs and furniture. My husband and I were there the entire time and saw them cleaning, but I swore everything was actually DIRTIER than before. The man cleaning said he couldn't get minor stains off the sofa… Once again, Rolando and Dalia to the rescue. Rolando texted me photos during the clean of what he'd done in minutes, compared to the existing carpet. Mind you, I just had the house professionally cleaned 3 weeks prior to them coming. It was DISGUSTING how dirty it still was! He got all the stains out of the furniture that the other cleaner claimed was impossible and our rugs looked (and smelled!) brand new.
They are so easy to communicate with and such a pleasure to work with–not to mention top notch in everything they do. I've referred them to so many friends and plan to convince them to continue to travel up to help us take care of our home!

Dalia and Rolando did an incredible job. We were moving out of our flat and kind of in a jam to find a reasonable carpet cleaning service. They were flexible on timing and fit into our budget. Not to mention, they completely revived our carpets. tl;dr: Their bid was twice their estimate after showing up, for no reason.
I hate to give a bad review but I found Ana on Yelp and this was a bad experience. I got bids for a move-out clean on a 2/1, 1,150 sqft single family home. This was all in my original request. I've attached pictures to clarify the condition; it's nothing abnormal.
While a lot of companies bid the job, Ana provides an estimate range, and whoever shows up to do the work bids it on the spot. You can agree to the bid and they will start immediately. Her estimate was in-line with bids from other companies. I went with her because of the Yelp reviews. My place is recently remodeled and lightly lived in, I didn't expect any issues being inside her estimate range.
When the two person team showed up, they bid it at double the estimate (and double all of the other bids I had received).
I messaged Ana to ask what happened and the response was that there was no miscommunication but the estimate is just an estimate. When I asked why my place (pictures attached) was so much more expensive, I was told a lot of things that don't make sense to me. First, I was told that the estimate is for 1 person for 1-2 hours and they sent 2 people for 3-4 hours. I said I didn't request extra people or hours. Then I was told a move-out cleaning is different than a deep cleaning and they have to do things like clean the refrigerator. But the estimate was for a move-out clean, it says so in the estimate.
I spoke to Ana on the phone and she provided a lot more examples of why it would take time, but none clarified the pricing mishap. For example, she explained how refrigerators take a long time to clean, that I have a glass shower door while sometimes other people have a curtain that is thrown out, and I also have a lot of cabinets, some small apartments have none. But I provided the square footage in my request, everyone has a refrigerator, and how can an estimate range not account for people with shower doors and kitchen cabinets?
When I pressed her to explain that, she mentioned the pricing is a bit out of her control because the people who show up are independent contractors and set their own price.
As best I can tell, that was the explanation. Her estimate is an optimistic guess and the people who show up set their own prices completely independent of any estimate. Maybe I had a super crew show up who do a super job and charge twice as much.
My advice would be: I'd be careful about relying on them when you're in a hurry as you won't know the pricing at all until whoever shows up picks a number. You're hiring Ana to vet and coordinate with subcontractors, but she has little control over the bid you get when they show up to do the work.

After my ordeal with the other unprofessional cleaning service, I was drained and didn't care too much if every corner in the apartment wasn't spotless and clean. However, Ana's power couple cleaners exceeded all our expectations and had the apartment spick and span!

First off, Ana is great at communicating via text. It was easy to set up a time and coordinate. I was hesitant at first on the same day free quote scenario, but ultimately realized it is so much better than the other services. Other cleaning services provide a set price, which in turn seems unfair given some apartments are a lot more dirtier than others & not all apartments are the same in size or situation. If you aren't satisfied with their quote, they will happily move on and you don't have to agree to the cleaning.
I went with a deep clean- which includes cleaning the inside of the fridge and oven. Overall the apartment was pretty clean. They missed a few spots on the kitchen floor and around the outside of the fridge. The cleaners probably could have used a little more attention to detail, so I had to do a quick wipe through of the missed spots.
Two cleaners showed up for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, with living room & kitchen and completed the cleaning in 2 hours. I left and came back and Ana even texted me as they were wrapping up so I can check the place before they left- really appreciated this! Unfortunately the cleaners initially showed up without masks on. Ana was very receptive of my feedback and immediately spoke with the cleaners about wearing masks.

I needed a detailed cleaning after renovation work. It was easy to schedule. Unfortunately, there was a big disconnect on expectations vs. what Ana's team can deliver in terms of cleaning up after a remodel with dust, grout haze, etc. They really only use soap and water, and they work very quickly. What I needed was a crew who could come in and wipe down every surface/cabinet so we could start clean. Instead, one cleaner showed up and hustled through it in 2 hours for ~$220. The cleaner was out the door before I had a chance to do a thorough walk thru. Upon pointing out a few missed areas, they did their best to hastily wipe it down and get out the door to the next job.
After expressing my disappointment, the owner reached out to clarify they are not insured to do the type of cleaning I actually needed and offered me a partial refund. They also offered to have someone come back to clean up all of the missed spots in the rest of the house that did not need special attention but definitely were not "deep cleaned" i.e. window sills, baseboards behind a door, etc. I declined since I had already spent the rest of the day cleaning it myself.
tl;dr: probably fine for a normal cleaning, though be around to check their work and clarify expectations early/often. Do not use for post-construction deep cleaning.

Thanks to this company, our home is feeling spotless and so clean! They were extremely polite and made sure that I was okay with the products they were using. Everything was eco friendly and smell free which was perfect for us because we have cats. As cat owners themselves, they knew how to clean our big place and made everything look spotless and free of cat hair. Most of our pillows and furniture is velvet, they knew how to clean it well, along with our marble and cement top counters. Emerson and his wife Wanessa really worked their magic on the place! They came ready with face masks, supplies, and very much appreciated the shoe covers (*ahem* shoeless household). By the time they were done, the place was literally GLISTENING. It looked like a brand new apartment , and honestly better than when we moved in.
Their attention to detail is stunning. Emerson pointed out that our bathroom sink was leaking and causing mold, which explained so much! They even cleaned my fridge, cleaned under the couch cushions, and salvaged my dirty bamboo cutting board that I was on the cusp of throwing out.

I was super stressed out due to not sleeping and last minute moving out of the place to clear out the apartment for these guys to deep clean in the morning. First of all, I am so sorry I can't recall the name of the team members who came to clean our home. However, they did a spectacular job! We needed deep cleaning to get our house move-in ready as the tenants left it in a pretty poor state.
Loany's team arrived early, not just on time. They stayed at least 8-9 hours to clean our 2,000 sqft home. I'm not even sure they took a real lunch, though I offered them a lunch break.
Again, the home is quite large, but the two person team tackled it and got it really clean. Our expectations were definitely met. Even my mother in law, who kept insisting we didn't need deep cleaning service, was impressed, I'd say. Quite frankly, there's no way my husband and I could have gotten it that clean ourselves. Not in a day's work, not even in a week's work.
The only "hiccups," if you will, were that we were quoted less than what the work turned out to cost. It was a fair price, but would have been nice if we knew up front to expect it. I would say, in the future, for the owners to obtain more information about what needs to be cleaned, how much square foot, maybe even pictures, to give a more accurate quote.
Secondly, the language barrier was a bit challenging sometimes. I felt a bit bad the team may have cleaned more things than necessary, because I wasn't able to communicate to them that they didn't need to clean certain things.
All in all, I would use Loany's deep cleaning service again without a doubt. I'd also recommend them to my friends and family.

I had a move-out clean with Lilian and Wellington for my townhouse apartment and already can't wait to book another service in the future! They were the nicest people with the hardest work ethic.
I have a 2 bed, 2.5 apartment and they worked nonstop from 9 am-6 pm to make it shine. Wellington even cleaned the outside of the windows. Lilian cleaned every appliance in the kitchen (fridge, oven, stove hood range) and restored it to a level of cleanliness that beat the heck out of what it was like when I moved in!
Communication with John was easy via text and he was super flexible about me moving my cleaning date. After booking my initial cleaning, I found out that my property manager expected the carpets to be professionally cleaned and John was able to accommodate that. He set everything up so that everything got done in one day. His associate came with a truck-mounted carpet cleaner and got the job done quickly, even the stairs which I know are a pain.
You can see from the photos the little details that went into this cleaning – even though it was a move-out clean and I barely had anything left in the apartment, they still put in thoughtful flourishes.
I'm so glad I found this company! Their quote was super reasonable and they didn't skimp on anything. I'm confident they did a better job than some more expensive cleaners in the area would do. Muito obrigado Lilian e Wellington!

I needed to do a deep cleaning upon move out, which would be reviewed by the rental company's inspection team, which is super strict! I hired John's team to do it and I think they did a decent job. However, the inspection team pointed out a few places that need to get cleaned again. I contacted John and he personally went again to get those spots cleaned out. And it passed the inspection the second time! He's very communicative and take customer satisfaction seriously. If there's a slight dissatisfaction, please assure that he would make it right. Communication was quick and easy to get scheduled. Fee was fair, especially given the state of the place I moved out of. The cleaners did an excellent job, including the oven and refrigerator, which I was shocked at how good they looked! I wasn't able to be at the apartment at the time of the cleaning, but there were no issues with their using a lockbox to let themselves in and locked up nicely when they left. Had an appointment window for a move out cleaning between 10:30 – 11:30 and the first cleaner arrived promptly at 10:30. They brought three people to clean a 1 bedroom apartment that included carpet cleaning that my property management required. They finished just after 1pm and the apartment looked spotless.
Would definitely consider booking with them again for more regularly cleanings at my new place.

I've used BerryClean three times and have had mixed experiences. The first cleaning I got was a deep clean for my 1b/1b apartment. Everything was absolutely sparkling, it felt like I was walking into a new home. They even cleaned some of our dishes and got some long-standing stains off that I thought were permanent. I was wildly impressed.
The second time, I got a regular clean. I wasn't near as impressed as I was the first time around, things weren't as thoroughly cleaned, but chalked that up to ordering a lower level of service. Overall, decided the regular wasn't worth the price.
My third clean was a deep clean. I overall was not impressed with the cleaning job, as there were some missed spots. Additionally, they used the wrong cleaner on my air fryer which totally ruined it. I reached out, and the team was very responsive and offered to touch up the areas they missed (which I declined since it would be easier to clean it myself than deal with the logistics), and they did reimburse me for the ruined appliance which was much appreciated. But, for the price they charge I will likely not return.

They sent it to collections .. and I will be hiring a attorney and also taken them to court… DO NOT USE THIS COMAPNY… they could not even put a bag in the garbage can…. or put the bath mats on the floor… and some deep cleaning they didn't even clean the stuff in the kitchen ..u guys suck

I just had BerryClean to my house the first time yesterday. I was using another local service before, but it appears that they went out of business and transitioned their customers to BerryClean.
The BerryClean team arrived to my house in the scheduled timeframe. What was a little surprising was the number of people who showed up to clean–8 people for a 3 bed/2 bath place. Since this company also cleans commercial buildings I am guessing that this same team was working on a larger project earlier in the day.
I would rate the overall cleaning 4.5/5. They missed a few windows, but I caught this before they left (the leader asked me to inspect their work before they left). Everything else was very clean. And the people who were here were very nice, professional, and careful with the my belongings. While only two of the crew spoke English (and my Spanish is pretty limited), that was enough to successfully communicate what was needed.
I plan to use them again.

This is the second time I've hired cleaners (in general) for my home and I was pleasantly surprised. They were pretty thorough and fast. My home is 3200 sq ft, so I kind of didn't expect them to be as thorough based on my last experience. A team of two ladies came and my home was cleaned within 4 hours. They cleaned my microwave, kitchen appliances, sink and garage well. I will definitely hire them again in the future, since I did like the quality work. I will probably bump this to a 5 star if theyre consistently good over time. My home looked like a hotel after it was cleaned.

Have had my home cleaned twice by Berryclean and been very happy both times. Fabiola and Elizabeth did a great, detailed clean of my home and cleaned problem spots without needing to be asked at all. They were able to change sheets when I asked them to, though there were some communication issues going between English and Spanish. There's an option to leave instructions when you make the appointment, which may get communicated more clearly to cleaners before they arrive. It's pricey but Berryclean seems to tout their high pay, not using contractors, etc.

I definitely wouldn't use another agency but I could see switching to an individual at some point.

First off, I must state how I got here. For the past year and a half, I've been battling mental health. I suffer from mood swing. Growing up, I was taught how to clean and had to redo the entire job if I didn't do it right the first time. I share this to say that I know how to clean. But with the combination of life, pandemic, isolation and mental health, I have not been able to clean my studio apartment to the degree the extent I was taught. I recently used their service for a move-out-cleaning. I really do not have any complaints and felt the service to be excellent.
They came on time and took little less than 3 hours to clean the entire home. They didn't deny us for any of our requests, without requesting extra money which was great.
They are very reasonably priced considering they were three people and they did a great work. We had some stickers in out bathroom that didn't come out easily but they removed it with a happy face. A very good family owned business that I'd recommend to anyone.
I hope they continue the work with a very willing and charming nature like they did this time. I'd call them again for my next move-out without any doubt.

Excellent! They came today for a deep/1st time cleaning and they really did an amazing job while in my home. I was very impressed with the whole process. Booking was easy and flexible with our schedule. They were on time, professional and very polite. They left my house in pristine condition. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. We have been searching for awhile for a cleaning service. Finally gave Lidiane a shot. Her prices were reasonable and within our budget to give her a try. I am very particular in how things need to be done, so they really exceeded my expectations. They got all the details down and yes is true — the comments you read in others about folding triangles on the toilet paper in the bathroom like a 5 star hotel. Other surprises included rearranging neatly my kid's board game drawer so it be can close tightly, folded and organized all the extra jackets/sweatshirts/blankets that were laying around the house, and even cleaned all the cobwebs in my garage.
Lidiane and her husband were amazing. Now we are sold on their quality and services that we are having them to come back on a regular basis.
