We needed some simple handyman work done – A sound bar installed below our TV set on a brick façade fireplace. Their company had been very busy, and while it took a while to get together, Rodrigo did a really great job. He even discounted our bill because of delays. I would recommend them.

Last week I put out a request for a handyman to remove my old dishwasher that was trapped by the tile flooring and countertop and install the new one. I'm planning to completely remodel the whole kitchen soon but the old dishwasher died and I'm tired of handwashing everything. Thumbtack yielded zero responses. Through Yelp, Rodrigo responded within in 10 minutes of my post. One other handyman responded but it was days later. Rodrigo was professional from the very first text and also quoted a fair price for the job. We scheduled a time but had to reschedule to later in the day due to him having to help on another job. Rodrigo arrived and got right to work. He asked if I preferred that he wear a mask prior to entering my home, which I didn't require but appreciated that he asked. The old dishwasher removal was more of a challenge and took alot longer than anticipated but he got it out! The high tile floor made it a challenge to install the new one, but after almost 4 hours hours, Rodrigo was able to install it without having to cut flooring or countertops! We had a nice chat about his family, how he got into the business, etc. I'll be calling for Rodrigo's handyman services as soon as I'm ready to do the full kitchen overhaul and remodel.

Did not do a deep clean as requested and paid for. Luckily they came back to clean again and it was better but for $275, I was expecting a true deep clean. The walk in closet, walls, ceiling, light switches, baseboard, and windows were still dirty and I had to disinfect and clean it myself. I wished the job was done properly the first time. Given we're living in a pnademic I was hoping to get a really good clean prior to my move it. I'm disappointed by the job. Would not recommend.

I absolutely love Mama's and Mops. They responded to my quote request right away, they were able to get my place cleaned right away. My floors needed some tlc and they made them shine! My bathroom sink had some weird stain that I though was just permanent damage but April was able to remove it. We were also really impressed bc the shower/tub area had a weird yellow to it, I'm assuming the last person who lived there was a smoker, but when April was done my daughter and myself were blown away that it was taken back to its normal color (minus the yellow). Another thing that I was impressed with was how well they cleaned the stove! The previous family left it with burn marks and Aprils crew was able to make it look brand new! My place was very clean, sanitized, and smelled fresh! April and her crew were professional. I will continue to use them and I will recommend them. I already sent out her card to one of my friends!!

My husband and I have been using Kat's Cleaning for several months, and I can't say enough about how amazing they are! Ashley is very thorough and makes our home look perfect every time! And this is probably particularly challenging due to our white tile, white carpet, and composite flooring.
Kat's prices are extremely reasonable, especially compared to the larger, flashier-marketed cleaning services. We paid for one of these places to clean post-remodel, and they didn't come close to the level of cleanness that Kat's provides, AND they were more than double the price.
I'm so glad we discovered Kat's! I would highly recommend them, and I don't think we would ever use anyone else as long as we live in the area.

We hired Kat's cleaning service for a move out clean of our little bungalow in Sugarhouse. We went back and forth weighing the options of a professional vs doing it ourselves and going with Kat's was the BEST decision we could have made.
She was friendly and kept me updated. She made sure to do a walk through of the home and after seeing it myself, I can see where all of the five star reviews are coming from. The fridge and stove top looked brand new. The kitchen (regardless of my efforts to keep it tidy) looked like nobody had ever used it. The baseboards were scrubbed and the floors were vacuumed meticulously. The bathroom was spotless and all the of little things we had forgotten in the move were left in the living room which made packing a BREEZE.
We will be using her yearly services in our new house without a doubt. You can't go wrong!

I do not know if this was a one time experience or if the reviews are written by friends of Kat, but our cleaning was subpar. Admittedly we just moved here, and perhaps our expectations of "clean" may be different than most. However, for $75 and an hour and a half, our 950 square foot apartment, which is brand new construction with us as the initial tenants, was not cleaned well. Our couch was never touched, and food remained on both the couch and in the crevices. The vinyl flooring, while mopped, had debris left and I was compelled to vacuum after our cleaner left. The bathrooms were done well, but my expectations are high for the monies spent.

My recommendation to potential customers: go elsewhere for your cleaning needs. This company is spotty and lacks accountability. Will not be back.
They sent a great team over for the first service I booked with them…but then the follow-up team was terrible. They were late to the scheduled booking time. They did a awful job, missed many spots, they left my book shelves soaked in cleaning solution (getting my books wet), and they left the furniture helter skelter around my house – and not in the original orientation that it had been in before the cleaning. Also, they were at my house for half the time I paid for (~55 minutes) for a two hour service! Definitely not worth the cost of the cleaning…
My primary concern is that the "cleaning team" also broke my window blinds. When I called in to report the issue, they were evasive and I had to play phone tag before I could get someone to respond. When I finally spoke with a representative (Shelly) she was very unhelpful and rude. She implied I was lying about the team breaking my blinds, but yet still reiterated that they "were trying to work with me". HA! Shelly did not purpose any viable solution to the issue. Very disappointing.

My husband bought this for me as a Valentine's Day present. He spent just under $400, so I was imagining my house was going to be spotless when they were done. They came at 10:30 and left at 2:30, just four hours. At two cleaners, that's a rate of more than $45 dollars an hour per cleaner.
We paid for three full baths to be cleaned, but the last bathroom they must have just been tired and wanted to go home because the bath was left untouched, along with the counters. The kitchen was clean, but it was 90% clean when they showed up. Much of what they quoted and said they would do (I.e dusting of the baseboards) was just not done.
You're better off paying a local cleaning lady by the hour. These companies are appealing because my husband could just setup everything online, which was fast and easy. But theirs quality control is nonexistent.
They do have a 48 hour guarantee but I don't even want to mess with it anymore, the experience was not great.

Very thorough and very professional: these two take great pride in their work and are unfailingly honest and kind. First, I chose Queen of Maids based on Yelp reviews. And the 3rd star is because of how nice the ladies were. Stacy and Camille were extremely friendly and very apologetic about being an hour late. That was no problem. Our home was already relatively clean, but for 2 cleaners for 2 hours, we expected quite a bit more. They didn't clean behind toilets, nor did they move any of the glasses or plates when they dusted shelves… they just dusted around them (we could've done that in a pinch). To not have the main living room swept and mopped was a bit of a disappointment. I will say that they cleaned the 2 showers very well, but they mopped the tiled bathroom floor without sweeping first!?! It created a bit of a "sludged" area, especially with brushed hair and sprayed product from day to day use. This was the "initial" cleaning, which by my understanding was the the, "let's get the grime out and maintain every two weeks" cleaning. Living room was not swept nor was the mantle dusted. Little things mean a lot, like there were 2 pans in the kitchen sink that they could've easily just cleaned and put on the drying rack (they ignored those) and didn't even touch the fireplace mantle (not dusted). All of our ceiling fans were still dust-covered… Really expected more since this appears to be a "new" company (which is why we have them a shot), but we just signed with another company that is more branded with better reviews (we always try to do local first). Maybe we will re-visit in a couple years when Queen Of Maids is more established.

The communication was great at first and the pricing was responsible. Cleaner arrived and we walked through our home. Since we had just moved in 2 weeks ago, it was still quite clean. After 2 hours, the cleaner let us know she was done and sent an invoice for payment. It was $10 higher than quoted and when we asked, she said it was due to the Venmo fee charged to businesses. As a business owner, I am aware of the fee but we were charged double what the fee should have been. Upon returning home, we found white fluffs all over everything in the house from whatever towels were used. Our stove was covered it in. Every door face and cabinet and countertop was covered. The home seemed dirtier than we left it. Every surface (stove, microwave, fridge, front door glass) was streaked and had to be re-cleaned. There was still dust/debris along the floor boards and around our garbage can. I reached out to let the cleaner know about the dust and the fluff from the towels and that we would provide our own cleaning towels for her next appointment. (We gave her a 2nd chance because it could have just been a simple issue of not having enough time or us not being clear about how we like our home cleaned).
The morning of our 2nd appt, she texted that she had to cancel due to a COVID exposure and that she would reach out to let us know when she could clean again. Mind you, we had set up bi-weekly cleaning at the start so we should have already been on her books. Our appt was coming up and I hadn't heard from her so I reached out to confirm that we were on her schedule. She confirmed. The morning of our appt, she texted that she had an emergency and couldn't make it. She said maybe we should find another cleaner. Uh, yeah, I think so.
From Swept Away we were overcharged for a subpar cleaning and then led on for over a month about future cleanings. If she didn't want to clean our home, she should have just said so and stopped wasting my time. Very poor service and very poor cleaning quality.

I have used Happy House Cleaning for several years. I have recently retired and only use them on an occasional basis now.
They have always given me excellent service. Charmaine is easy to work with and always very accommodating. The cleaning staff are always polite and do a consistently AWESOME job.
There prices are reasonable, and I always know how much it will be up front.
I have tried many other cleaning services and it seems they start out good and then go downhill after that. I have not experienced this with Happy House Keeping and highly recommend them.

My review in no way reflects the cleaners that came to my home. They did an excellent job. This review is for the management of the company. When I got the quote, it was for an hourly price of $55 per hour with an estimate of 2.5 hours. I have been overbilled for 2 out of 3 times I've used the service. The cleaner does the job in 2 hours or less. The owner refuses to credit back the difference, take my calls or return messages. This is unacceptable behavior. Especially in a service company! I will not use them again!

This business is a scam! I will be reporting them to my bank, the better business bureau, and a good lawyer to d we with them. They were simply to clean an EMPTY apartment that was pretty much all clean except one bathroom. I received a VM from them claiming they were there for 10 hours and that the place needs another 10 hours?!? That I owe them over $500. Ridiculous. I will be using another service and this company needs to be shut down!

We've been using Happy House Cleaning for almost a year. The owners Charmon and Mike are very responsive and flexible, and the rate is very reasonable. A few different individuals have come to our house and done a thorough and consistent job each time. Specifically, Alicia, Susan and Kate have been great, and have been very pleasant and friendly! This is the best cleaning company I have ever found. They do a better job cleaning than any other company (and I've been through many), they have the best customer service BY FAR, and they're significantly better priced than any other company I've found by a looooong shot!! I have been a customer for a couple years now and I'm blown away by how amazing the owners of the company, Charmon and Mike, are. They really care deeply about all of their customers and go way past the extra mile to ensure that you're happy with every cleaning service received. I recently wasn't happy with my cleaning service, and it was only because the cleaner was scheduled to be at my home for 2 1/2 hours when the job takes easily 4 hours to clean. Mike and Charmon came to my house right away so they could see what it was I was unhappy with, gave me a discount for that day of cleaning and changed my service from 2 1/2 hours to 4 hours at a very small additional cost. They're wonderful people and I can't say enough good things about them. This absolutely is the cleaning company you've been searching for!

I will absolutely be reporting these people to the Better Business Bureau. They quoted my 70-year-old mother $150 to clean her very small one bedroom place. her place was already pretty much clean as it always is, she just needed it scrubbed for Thanksgiving. After the service was done, and the cleaners took four hours…FOUR HOURS (obviously intentionally slow) they informed her that she owed them $400! What the hell!? I'm glad you people get off on ripping off old ladies… Hopefully the Better Business Bureau will see you for what you are. We have had maid services multiple multiple times. Never have I ever seen such a rip off. Thanks so much for haggling my 70-year-old mother down to $240. I hope you feel good about yourself. By the way… It was a real nice touch telling her that unless she paid you more money you wouldn't be able to pay the maids that actually did the cleaning. Wonderful to know that you're not only ripping off your customers you're also ripping off your maids.

I have used Happy House Cleaners for years and love their service! They always do a great job, and the few times they forgot something they were responsive and made it right. I recently had a new employee, Branson, clean for me. I was skeptical as he was young and I had never had a male house cleaner before. I was pleasantly surprised. He spent 3 hours cleaning and worked really hard. Great attention to detail!

Don't waste your time or money on these guys. You're honestly better off just cleaning your house yourself. Cynthia came to my house for 2 hours and after she left, it didn't even look like it had been cleaned at all. My bathroom floor wasn't swept and the sink wasn't wiped down. Not exactly sure what she did in there for 30 minutes but lesson learned. Never again!

Have been a customer for 3 years. Charmin is the owner and has been very responsible and responsive to my requests. I contact her by phone and usually get a response within 24-48 hours. If something isn't cleaned to satisfaction, she will send out a gal to re-clean the home, which has only happened twice. The only thing that has been a concern for me is the turn-over in employees. The quality of cleaning does vary depending on whom is the cleaning person. So I make a point of having good communication with my cleaning person as to what I expect and am friendly and kind, and tip the person for their work on a major holiday such as Christmas. This goes a long way to getting better service.

Healthy Home Cleaning was amazing!! I am in the process of moving out of my home and Healthy Home was able to easily accommodate my tight schedule. Also when the cleaners showed up there were boxes everywhere (issues with my moving crew) and they still were able to do a fabulous job!! The cleaners went above and beyond by moving boxes and mopping my hardwood floor on their hands and knees so they could reach every bit possible!!!
