I love that I can book online and get a price upfront – without having to play phone tag or have a pre-cleaning visit.
We used Groovy Maid to do a deep clean of our mom's house for her birthday. Both my mom and my sister (who lives at home) raved about the clean. My mom was thrilled with her gift and my sister said the refrigerator was "really shiny."
I did have an issue with the website not taking my booking right away and didn't hear back from a voicemail I left – but I got it to go through, so maybe they just decided not to call back?

The booking part was quick. Cleaning people seemed easy to talk to. Hence two stars.
Regarding the job, it was done extremely terribly. Two people showed up almost half hour late, bringing only a vacuum and a mop. They asked a place for them focus on(so they could ignore everywhere else), I chose the kitchen. An hour and half later, they haven't even able to clean the kitchen tiles. According to them, they spent more than half hour on the bathroom in the first floor, which I barely used. What can I say?

Cleaning was fine but scheduling was a nightmare. Asked for a Friday and was given a Wednesday. Asked what happened to Friday and was told it was booked. Told them I couldn't do Wednesday and Friday became miraculously available (within 5 minutes).
After first visit, immediately scheduled my next appointment for a month later. Never heard anything and when I followed up (three weeks later) was told my date wasn't available and they randomly picked another date the following week (didn't even ask if I was free – and the new date was a holiday).
If I had time to deal with all of this, I would have time to clean my own house. Moving on to another company with a customer service focus.

I feel like I was scammed and would not want to do business with them again. I said I needed a small kitchen and tiny bathroom of a 1300sf empty home thoroughly cleaned. They said sure, no problem, but the minimum we'd have to pay for was three hours. I hesitated, thinking it would not take 3 hours to clean these small rooms but went with them because they were available the following week. The cleaning woman was nice and was cleaning the kitchen, & told my husband he didn't have to stay. She would clean the bathroom when she finished the kitchen. My husband left. After a total of three hours, the company called me and said the cleaning lady only cleaned the kitchen and would I like to schedule to have the bathroom cleaned? I was SHOCkED! How did she not get both small rooms cleaned in 3 hrs? (Yes, I was also mad my husband left early so I didn't know what really happened) I've had my entire greater-than 2000sf home cleaned in that amount of time before! The company never once suggested it couldn't be done in three hours and now they want me to pay another $180 for a tiny bathroom (the sink counter is barely bigger than the sink bowl, if that gives you an idea)? (Assuming they don't play this trick again!) I did talk to them about it but they insisted this was normal, snd a larger house would take ten hours to clean, scaled up in her mind/experience. I don't know if this is true-again, not my experience years ago with my own house in a different state. I feel taken. This isn't even talking about how they changed the time at the last minute and then canceled completely, so we had to re-schedule a third time.

How is it MY problem that this company hired incompetent staff? Isn't that why I hired a maid company in the first place…to get screened and vetted service?
I asked for a refund and was refused one unless I have the same (bad) maid come do a re-clean. I asked for a new cleaner — was refused. I asked for a partial refund without a re-clean — I was refused.
It's true that their website states that if you're unhappy with a cleaning, the company will re-clean and if you are still unhappy you will get a refund. It does NOT state that you have to use the same maid.
WHY would I want the same woman who I complained about come into my home? And why would I want the same crappy cleaning? She said the reason they can't give me a new maid is because they already paid the previous maid and they don't want to have to pay a second one..?!

The only thing good about the service was easy and quick booking.
My first and only cleaning the maid was early after I booked a specific time (because I was coming home from work). I was not home when she arrived.
The maid did not wear her COVID mask over her nose properly. She left sick after cleaning 1 bathroom stating she had felt sick earlier in the day but thought she could push through.
Jess, the boss, rescheduled without asking me what was convenient for me. The reschedule was not the best option for me but I booked it because I needed the cleaning completed.
The rescheduled new maid also did not always wear her mask properly. While both maids were nice, they were not the best trained. For a general cleaning, furniture was not moved to be cleaned, knickknacks were not moved to be dusted, and pet hair remained on the steps.
When discussing things I wanted cleaned, I was told those were only included in deep cleanings not general cleanings. The second maid even went on to tell me the things she skips when doing deep cleanings even though she knows she's supposed to do them because, "There's not enough time." So they skip things you pay for.
Jess also charged me for the 3 bedrooms they did not clean so I had to question the charge and wait for the refund.
Overall, the cleaning was not any better than I could have done, so I was left unsatisfied, inconvenienced, and disappointed.

They charged $920 even though the owner, Jessica, quoted $850 for an 8 hour day and they came late. I explained to Jessica, the owner, what needed done in the house. I asked how experienced the workers were, whether they were trained and once showed around the house if they would know what to do. She assured me they were professional, had substantial training and used only green products to clean.
One person arrived on time, the other two were late. One of them brought her pregnant daugther who was 9 mos. pregnant and having contractions. I told her she should come in rather than be in a hot car all day. She said she would come in to use the bathroom but preferred to wait in the car.
They said they had not been told what was needed and had no idea what to do. I went over everything with them. They were supposed to be using green products, but instead used Lysol so I gave them cleaning products to use. One worker did a good job, the other two talked constantly, complaining to each other and did a poor job.When I asked them to go over the cabinets again they said they could not be cleaned. I showed them the dirt easily came up with a damp paper towel. I called the owner when I left. She was disappointed that the woman she said she put in charge brought her daughter who was in labor with her and surprised they brought products that were not green and that they did a poor job. I most definitely would not recommend them.
Let the buyer beware! We just wish we had known about the many bad reviews before we wasted nearly $1,000! Save your money and your time, find another company. BTW, the took our cleaning products when they left.

I bought this service for my wife as a gift after our baby was born. I thought it would be nice for her not to have to worry about cleaning the house and its something she talked about for a while.
WHAT A WASTE. We paid extra for services that were not done and the girl was only there for an hour. She basically only vacuumed and wiped down counter tops. She "cleaned" the floor in her bare feet and now there are footprints all over the house. If i could give LESS THAN ONE STAR, I would. The house feels dirtier now than before she came.
When we complained, we were told that their policy is to have the same person come back and clean the house again. No thanks. No refund was given. Keep your money and buy your own cleaning products to do it yourself. I'm certain you will be happier.

My husband and I are selling our home, so we hired Groovy Maid to prepare the house for showing. Being a brand new mother and living several hours away, we didn't have the time to do it ourselves. According to our realtor, they did an excellent job! She was especially impressed with the hardwood floors.
What I appreciated the most was the ease of scheduling and payment. All other companies wanted a long phone interview or to meet in person, neither of which would work for my schedule with a new baby. The price was also great, so we will definitely consider using them again if needed.

I've been using Groovy Maid for over a year now to clean my mother-in-law's apartment twice a month and have been very happy with their services. We've had a few different teams over the year and all were excellent with the exception of one who repeatedly cancelled at the last minute (the company promptly responded to the problem and it's been smooth sailing since). I don't live in the area so their booking system and responsiveness to any questions have been a huge help to me. Groovy maids were awful. I'm not really sure what it is they did to clean our home. The only thing different was that our blankets were made to cover the couches. The house was vacuumed but they used our vacuum. There was no dusting done. Countertops were not wiped. The hardwood was not cleaned. My sons bedroom wasn't even touched. This was basically $200 down the drain. We placed a review on their website and had no response. Would never recommend. If it was possible I would give zero stars.

Fantastic service, John was upfront, transparent, and accurate with his quoting. Arrived on time, and finished in short order, totally cleaned our sectional and ottoman. The ottoman had a horrific cat puke stain (wet food salmon, sat for 7-8 hours before we noticed) that we tried to remove, but only made things worse.
Thought we might have ruined the ottoman for good, but Eco King made it look brand new, very impressed. Also impressed that there wasn't any harsh chemicals being used, no smell, and when John was leaving, I mentioned that I accidentally stained my car seat with coffee. He took out a spray bottle and cleaned that too, looks brand new again. Amazing, totally worth the price. Will definitely use their services again.

He was very responsive to my call, and did an excellent job – but unfortunately, his hoses weren't long enough to reach my entire apartment, so only half of it got done.
He wanted to pull his truck up outside and take the hoses in through the windows to get the rest, but unfortunately, that's just not possible with this building. It was very disappointing because another company did have long enough hoses, so I will have to use them in the future, even though I liked this guy better and would really rather use him again. I have reluctantly removed one star because of the hose length issue. I'm on the second floor of a medium size building.
He got up one of the hardest things ever, though, off of light-colored carpet – dried dog diarrhea – without the slightest hint of a mark remaining. I was amazed. The apartment didn't stink of cleaning solution afterwards, either, which I was especially pleased with, and I was able to walk on the carpet right away.
He also didn't have to put all the furniture up on blocks with the solution he uses, which was great, because I have a bad back and getting those little blocks that other companies use up is a really big problem for me.
If he's able to get to your entire home, or at least all of what you want cleaned, you will be very pleased with the job he does.

4/28/2021. BUYER BEWARE! We hired Eco King to wash the outside of my house and do the carpets on the same day. We ended up with a faded bleach spot on our carpet. When I left a voice mail asking to file a claim for repair of these damages. I did not get a call back and a week later got a lawyer letter threatening me with a law suit if I choose to pursue repair for my damaged carpet. I was shocked at this course of action as a response to my telephone voice mail? I do not recommend any business that sends lawyer letters as a way to get out accountability for their actions. My next call will be to the BBB to file a complaint and seek their support to my damage.

I really debated on the type of review I wanted to leave. Let me start by saying that the work they did looks great. They lost 2 stars for me because of the service. We were having our carpets and tile cleaned for a move out. So, we were not currently living there. So I got a call at 8am that they were on their way. I packed up the kids, drove 30 minutes, and when I got there the guy realized he was supposed to do a different job first. So he left and said he'd be back in a couple hours. I gave him the garage code to get back in. A few hours later he shows up. After a bit, I get a phone call saying that he needs to go do another job and he will come back when he's done to finish. Well, he came back later than expected and said he'd be done between 7-9pm. At 1:00am, the work is done. I couldn't drive over there at that point so I had to let him lock up which I didn't like doing.
UPDATE: John at Eco king was very apologetic for the service this time. He did give us a generous partial refund for the work they did. We have used them in the past and not had any issues. We will definitely use them again next time we need anything done.

I contacted Eco King via Yelp for an estimate on cleaning the carpets in my home. I needed it to be affordable and I only had one day open on the calendar that it could happen. John responded via phone within minutes with a great quote, so I hired him right then and there.
My carpets had not been cleaned in over 6 years – 6 years of children's parties, dog and cat living together not really in harmony, and 6 years of wear. I was always embarrassed to have people over to our house b/c the carpets were so gross! I was sure they could be cleaned but I doubted they could look really good after all that damage. Needless to say, I was wrong.
My carpets looked great! I was sure I'd need to pull them up in a year or so and replace them but John assured me, with annual cleaning, they could last another 6 years! What a relief for me! I sent my husband a picture of our new and improved living room and he responded "where are you?"
John did a fabulous job. I received a text when he was on his way and a text confirming the job was complete (great for when you're not home while he works). It didn't take an entire day, the surface was dry right away and I love that its environmentally friendly.
I've already shared his number with some friends who will be sending more business his way. You should call him too.

John got back to me right away when I reached out to make an appointment and was able to schedule within the time frame I needed. We received a 2 hour window and got a text when the technician was 30 minutes away. Rodger was friendly and professional. Our carpets dried quickly and look great! There also wasn't a strong odor of chemicals, detergent, etc. like you get with some companies. Overall, very pleased with the experience and look forward to using them again!

Used ecoking now 4 times. Always consistent. Quick appointment arrangement. Professional cleaners who wear shoe covers, are prompt, and work efficiently. Our carpets still look new. Super honest with me about a bleached area on a rug that the owner told me would not be able to be fixed so he did not recommend him trying and wasting my money. Will continue to use again and again.

I have to give mad props to John with Eco King. He made my carpets look like new again and I couldn't thank him enough. First and foremost, he called to confirm on appointment the day of, let me know he was running ahead of schedule and could come earlier, and was very thorough in explaining everything that was going to be done to me. I feel bad as I do not remember the name of his crew member, but they did a fantastic job on my carpets. I loved that I received text messages when he was on his way as well as once the job was complete. Like I said, very thorough. He also stated that if there were any problems to please contact him so that he could address them immediately to make sure that I was 100% satisfied.

Eco King – John, the owner, does an excellent job of cleaning carpets. And he's up front and honest about how it may or may not come out. We've been using him I believe the last 4 cleanings now over the past 2+ years. We have three dogs and they have accidents some times and tend to dwell in the same areas on carpets. Without even telling him, he figures out the problem areas and does the best he can with an ecologically sound product. If you're looking for a great carpet cleaning service – this is the company to go with. Highly recommended.

BNB has yet to complete work on our home which commenced April 29, 2022. They damaged our garage door (covered in overspray) and will not respond to any calls, texts, or emails. In fact, when questioning them about this we were told "when they had free time" they would come take a look. No one has been by since mid- May. I would not recommend this company.
Our driveways and sidewalks are also to be power washed and sealed – no date for that but they have already been paid. Be cautious!

I hired BnB super clean to clean out my garage and fix up my house. The owner and his wife gave me a $120 quote and I thought that was a little low. All I have to say is they are amazing!
