American Maid truly has gone above and beyond on ensuring my home looks spotless every time! Throughout the years, American Maid has carefully listened and acted on my OCD level of cleaning.
Ever since about 2010, I've used American Maid as my go-to cleaning service. Carol's and Desiree's teams have always been unbelievably nice, detailed and so easy to talk to! They're very focused on the specific cleaning needs like my grill or removing bad odor because of my dogs(which the maids absolutely love lol).
Another thing I like is how Mindy knows my name every time I call. It's like they know me on a personal basis, making me feel more comfortable and treats me like we're friends. The cost, however, is not the cheapest. The last cleaning that was done costed almost $300, but it's well worth it because I always request 4-5 star cleanings.
American Maid is my only cleaning company I'll use. Staff are amazing and my house is always clean. They definitely deserve 5 stars!

I paid over $400 for a 5 star cleaning of essentially a one-bedroom ( only asked for one bedroom to be cleaned), two bath house. It did not even come close to what the website claims their 5 star cleaning entails. Large dust bunnies and dog toys were left untouched under the bed and other furniture. Multiple things on the comparison chart were not done. The patio doors were not cleaned, the fridge was not wiped down, plants were not dusted, some furniture was moved and not put back, the floors were streaked, baseboards and window sills were dusted (4-star) but not washed down (5-star) etc……. For their 5-star cleaning, this is unacceptable.
They sent out 2 cleaners. One was very good and the other not so much. It appeared that they either did not send enough people or did not give them enough time for a deep cleaning. They seemed very rushed. We do have pet hair but our house is not cluttered.
I did let them know that I was unhappy and Michelle offered to send someone out to remedy the situation but unfortunately we left the day after the cleaning for an almost 6 week road trip so it was not possible for them to come back. I had hoped that this 5-star cleaning would lay the ground work for them to continue coming every other week.
I was asked what I wanted them to do. I asked for them to return, and provide a proper 5-star cleaning for the price of a 4-star. I thought this was fair since they were unable to come back for no charge to complete the work. If this remedied the situation I was still willing to continue with 4-star cleaning every other week. I was ignored. Michelle stated that they needed to make some changes to their website. Hmmm….don't think I will be using them again.

3 stars are for Michelle and customer service. Unfortunately the cleaning was just not worth the money. My house was vacant and I asked for a 5-star cleaning and paid a pretty penny. But there was still dust on the walls (asked for walls to be cleaned), and dirt in many places that should have been caught. I thought maybe it was stains but I was able to get them up with my magic eraser so that wasn't the caS They offered to come back out but I was already moving in. I just expected everything to be done right the first time.

What I like about REAL local, tax-paying services: (this is not one of those National Franchises that skims money out of town), it's a local business, YAY!
1. When I am old and feeble, I know the workers will also be getting social security too.
A friend got someone off Craig's list, who did serious damage to her floor. She's out of luck. American Maid is bonded and would make good if this happened. In a few years of service, no problems, but this would make it graceful if something broke.
3. A whole TEAM of cheery people arrive. And they have TEAM spirit! They wear basketball uniforms, have a coach who runs around and checks the work, and what do they call me? "One of our fans"And they never never complain about us and our sloppy habits. They clean a teenager's room by making the bed and putting everything that WAS on the floor on the bed. Worked for us.

5 stars for sure. I just lost my mom and I had to get her place cleaned quickly. I could barely talk when I called and Michelle was just wonderful. I needed someone to say "relax we've got this covered " and she said just that. I really didn't have to do anything. They came within days of the call. American Maid workers and the services they provide are first rate. I always know when they will arrive and what they will clean. Today, for example, they decided some of the windows in the house needed washing so they added them to the regular list of cleaning chores. And the windows look terrific!
The staff is always courteous, treats my two noisy dogs really well, and gets the house tidy and well arranged quite promptly. I am very pleased with their work and service. The staff go out of their way to respond to my requests politely and professionally.

Kudos especially to Sandra when she was leading the team that cleaned my house, she was flexible in working around me when I was there when they cleaned and she would always ask if everything looked okay. My favorite part of their cleaning was the awesome job they did on my stove top and shower; my house came with a glass surfaced induction stove which they always got mirror clean, and they always kept my shower spotless. Unfortunately their rates did end up going up over the years, what started out as a $120 cleaning ended up being a $199 cleaning which put it out of reach of my budget.

Okay I wanted to update my previous review and Yelp isn't letting me. So I hope this will set the record straight. My first review I gave them two stars as I was not happy with the cleaning they did. The more I looked the more I saw they missed. Mindy and I finally made contact and she sent another crew out to make it right and they sure did. They were shocked at what was missed by the first team. They went over and above and the more I look now the more I see what they cleaned. Mindy was very apologetic and I know sometimes things just don't work as they should and the first team just didn't do what they should have. The second team did fantastic and I was not charged one penny for the second team. I am now a happy and satisfied customer and I will definitely call them next time I need the house cleaned. I don't think it has ever been this clean! I have learned that American Maid Cleaning really does care about happy customers so if something isn't right be sure to contact Mindy. She will make it right for you.

I have to give a one star review. To start off with we were referred by a friend and the cleaning staff did a great job. But the office staff. One they flat out lied to me and then when I caught them in a lie then they started back pedaling. The price difference was $35 more for us than the people who referred them to us. Since then they raised the amount of the people who referred them to us. One clear sign of a deceptive business is American Maids don't like customers talking about their pricing. I was told this by American Maid office staff. Buyer beware. Also just got my bill from them for the initial cleaning of an 1100 square foot space. $348. We didn't have them clean the whole house either. It's like I'm paying for the repercussions of catching them in a lie. Buyer beware again.

I hired American Maid to do a move out cleaning and had to have it all done again. Apparently they don't know move outs. The lamps were just dusted, left with bugs inside the glass, the only real cleaning was the top of the refrigerator and the bathtub. One bathroom toilet was scrubbed right and the other was not. Everything was dusted (it is not a weekly cleaning where you dust) in move-out it is clean with cleaner and sponge as the tenants have been there a couple of years and did not clean very well. The fans were dusted and not scrubbed. Very disappointed and they got upset when confronted with the situation. Waste of my money for sure, would not recommend at all!

I'm super happy to have found American Maid…The teams are super quick and efficient which is great for timing the cleanings. On the morning of my cleaning they call and tell me approximately what window of time they will be there, which is just awesome. They are extremely responsive and if the couple of times I have asked about adding things, or had questions-everyone involved was amazing and any changes are dealt with quickly.
My team rotates, but many of the names are consistent and thats so awesome for them getting to know my house and messes. This week, Sandra, Susana, Ashly, and Diana did a super job. I love coming home to a clean house and made bed!
They leave notes every time, especially if there is something they noticed that was off. I really appreciate that. As a business owner and mother of 2 I am super busy and it is just so awesome to have someone help me with the regular cleanings.
My favorite story was when something was damaged-I called Mindy at the office and immediately she said "don't worry-we will take care of you." And they did. They quickly assessed the situation, and fixed it before I knew it. I was very impressed with their integrity and communication. Amazing service, quality that they back up, and a desire to please.

Disappointed. I had a move out clean done for me. I've always done this myself and this time I decided to have someone do it for me. I reached out to them and they were very responsive and pleasant on the phone. Good communication. I was at work when they cleaned and didn't get to the house to check the work until they were gone. I was disappointed to find that the walls around light switches weren't wiped down, spots on the walls and a cabinet was missed altogether. When I communicated the issues with them I was told that they use "green" products to clean and if I wanted them to use something stronger I would need to provide those myself. And then she added a comment "as I have mentioned before". She had never mentioned that at all.
For $800 I expected more. The obvious places at the very least. If I had to do it again I wouldn't.

Overall, the house was more or less clean after a deep cleaning last Friday but there were a few small issues and at least one major issue. Three women arrived as expected and were accepting of the dog's enthusiastic greeting, which I appreciated! I can't refer to the women by name however because when I introduced myself they didn't reciprocate.
I gave them a tour and told them that the most important thing was that I had an indoor only cat who may run for any open doors so to please let me know if they needed to open any outside doors at all. They agreed but I heard my slider being opened several times and had to jump up and find my cat. Later, as they were finishing up, I walked from the back of the house to the living room and found the door was wide open while a rug was being straightened. Luckily my cat was occupied in another room but he very easily could have gotten out. This was something my husband had also made clear when he booked the cleaning.
I wasn't told when they finished a room or asked if anything was missed before they left, and it seemed like three people for two hours wasn't enough to clean my 1200 sq ft house because as supplies were being loaded out the woman mopping cleaned a few feet of floor and left it so wet I had to get a towel and dry it. There was still cat hair and some dirt on the kitchen floor and some spots on the floor were missed completely in the kitchen and office. There was a spot on linoleum that I walked over in socks and slid so fast I almost fell backwards.
I expect that professionals (3 of them for 2 hours!) can clean my house better than I can but I spent a bunch of time cleaning up after them. We planned on getting biweekly cleaning but won't be going with this company again.

DO NOT USE!!!! I hired this company to clean my 2600 sq. foot home after we moved out. I was quoted $500 which seemed high. They showed up late, and after they spent the rest of day at my home, (including a 60+ min lunch). Then they charged me $800. During the first three hours they were there the only things that were cleaned were the two upstairs bathrooms. However, things like our glass shower doors were not clean. Prior to the maids coming, my wife and I swept and vacuumed all floors in the house and wiped down all surfaces in the kitchen. Overall, they did a very poor job. Do not waste your money on this company. We would have done a better job ourselves in less time.

I have a good relationship with the ladies that clean my house and I especially like that they pay attention to detail. Three women came to my 3/2 home for a move out cleaning, service "guaranteed." They arrived two hours late, were tired and complaining then sat in the car for an extra 15 min when done so they could bill to the hour. I gave two stars because they made spotless the areas I struggled with and pointed out. Otherwise, they neglected too much. When I called because the fridge was not cleaned, some doors overlooked and there were dust webs in ceiling corners (these were the obvious oversights), Nalini herself came and promised to review the whole house to be sure everything was satisfactory. She did not. Afterward, she explained that she trusted what her workers did so she didn't inspect the quality and as a result, numerous drawers were not wiped down and left with razor hair and dirt in them, the laundry room was never touched and more. Yes, I should have inspected more myself but I had an entire house to pack by myself in 30 days while working full time and I was overwhelmed. The landlord didn't trust the guaranteed service so she charged an additional $350 to the $700 I paid Nalini. Awful and not worth it.

We found Spots to Sparkles in November and cannot say enough good things about them. Not only do they do a fantastic job of cleaning, but we're able to come home to a house not smelling of bleach and ammonia. Hillary and Max are so careful and respectful of our home, for which we are extremely grateful. I have used Magic Mops Cleaning Services for 2 years of the 3 years that I have lived in Olympia and can't imagine ever using anyone else! I first started using Magic Mops team when I moved to the city and had family visit from the east coast. I have continued to use them for cleaning every 2 weeks since. They keep my house very clean and dust free. Being allergic to many environmental things they help me stay healthy by keeping my home clean and free of many allergens.
Sheri is very quick to reply to scheduling (via email) and has always been very accommodating during my busy work week. I've never had issues with the team being late and they always do an incredibly thorough job– dusting shelves, organizing counter tops, dusting blinds etc.

An appointment was made for a walk through estimate. We adjusted our schedules to be home. No call, no show. Called the office and we were told that someone called out and the woman who was supposed to show up was out cleaning someone else's house. Again, no show, no call, no text….no thank you. Why do you think "someone called out" is a good reason to inconvenience customers with no notification?? This is an example of a poor work ethic.

I had team Kay and Hali. It is hit or miss which team you get so consistency can be questionable but very happy with this team. Attention to detail and really felt my home was cleaned very well. I hired magic mops to clean my house the week before I delivered my daughter so I could come home from the hospital to a fresh house. The first couple of ladies that came did an okay job, but definitely less than I expected. Without me having to even complain or request it redone, they promptly sent a new crew the very next day to have it redone and they did an *amazing* job, at no extra cost to me. They were extremely thorough and made everything sparkle.
I originally only hired them for the one time to spoil myself, but seeing how great they did, and how nice they were, I'll definitely be hiring them again!
Not to mention, they took the time to send us a sweet care package for our new baby! That shows how much they really care about their customers! Thank you so much, ladies!!!

Very disappointed in the services we received for the $445 we were charged total. After working a 10 hour shift I had to go back to my home and finish the cleaning the cleaners failed to do. I was told a quote of $300-400 over the phone. And then was charged $495 to my account. The manager refunded us $50 to the card. Only giving two stars because the areas that were cleaned properly looked good, but not worth $445. Online it says they charge $50 an hour for their move out cleaning and they were at our house for 4 maybe 5 hours. Which does not account for the $445 dollars we were charged or nearly what we were even quoted over the phone. We even asked them to not clean the blinds because they were being replaced to save them to hassle of that. Online it says they clean walls were appropriate but not specify where appropriate is and our walls were left looking as pictured.

I was in a bind, had a very special event scheduled for the weekend at my home, was running out of time and knew I would not be able to get floors, bathrooms, vacuuming, etc. done. I called Sherry and explained my dilemma. Sherry was able to get a great team to my place the next day. Val, Carrie and Kristi were life savers. Their work was fantastic. Their attitudes were fantastic. Their professionalism was awesome.
I was a little taken by the pricing, quite a bit higher than what I paid in CA.
They used their own products, and equipment, very happy with that. But next time I will have them use my stainless cleaner, it doesn't leave streaks. Extremely happy with the service.

Sheri responded to my call quickly & set up the appointment to meet with me for a consultation and give the estimate for a move-out clean when we sold our home. She was on time and was very polite & professional.
The day of the cleaning the team of two women showed up promptly and went right to work. They worked very hard, and I was extremely happy with the job they did. I wish they would move to Missouri because I would hire them to do my weekly cleaning !
I also had the carpets cleaned through Magic Mops and was very happy with the technician and the job he did. I wish I had gone through them for the window cleaning as well, but had already had them done by another company.
I highly recommend Magic Mops & would give 10 stars if I could!

Magic Mops Professional Cleaning Services was great! When I filled out the contact form they responded to me via email in less than 24 hours. They kept great communication, were able to schedule me within a week and even gave me a courtesy call to remind me of when they would be coming and at what time. The only thing that I didn't like was I felt that they were a tiny bit pricey. Not horrible, but for the size of our place, I feel it might have been a bit much. But in the end they did a FANTASTIC cleaning job and made things look super clean and like new. I will definitely contact them again if I need cleaning services.

I just bought a house – went from living in a 750sf rental to a 1660sf house. The move was tough since I went from Sammamish to Olympia and the thought of cleaning this big place – that was none too tidy from the previous owner – was daunting. They were easy to schedule with – able to come the day after I moved in and cleaned top to bottom. The door to the garage from inside looked really beat up and now looks like new. I reached out on Yelp for a quote and they got right back to me. We have a large house with 3 dogs, one cat, and 4 adults. Their price was so reasonable that I was a little apprehensive, but I had no reason to worry! They arrived right on time and were both wearing masks, which we really appreciated.
The house looks amazing, somehow they were able to get up more cat and dog hair in a few hours than I've been able to do in a year!
I'm so glad I found Mary and Milena, and I'll definitely be asking them to come back every other week.

M & M took their time cleaning my home and it was a MESS. They got every crevice and every baseboard and every corner of my bathrooms. They even got my ceiling fan which was extremely high and dusted that. They did the inside of my fridge and kitchen and cabinets. I honestly would DEFINITELY recommend them to ANYONE. Where do I begin to sing the praises of America and her incredible team? If you want you house clean, I mean really clean, then Clean Queen is the team to call. The first time they came, I had to leave the room. They had couch cushions off, everything off the kitchen counters, rugs off the floor, it looked like an explosion has occurred! When they were done, everything was back in place and everything sparkled. It was so clean, I didn't want to use my stove and get it dirty!
They dust picture frames, get up high to dust and clean. The major praise, is that they pay attention to detail!We just bought a new home and it was "cleaned". The cabinets, appliances and floors were dirty. If I had not been to the house the day before and actually seen the two housekeepers, I would not have known the place was supposedly cleaned. I had already scheduled Clean Queen to deep clean the house before we move in. Three girls were there 8 hours! They dusted the tops of all the cabinets, scrubbed all the appliances, including the washer and dryer, mopped, did windows, etc. The house smells and looks amazing! I love these women. They are truly the DREAM TEAM of CLEAN!

Horrible, horrible experience. We requested a quote and were told that someone would come by our house the following Friday to take a look and give us a quote. No one ever showed up, nor did anyone call us and let us know they weren't coming, so I assume they forgot. I should have known not to book with them after this, but I did anyway. The lady never communicated with us on when she'd be there (so we could let her in, we weren't living at the residence at the time) so we had to call her. My husband left work early to let her in, and she never showed up. Said she'd be late. When she did show up, did not communicate with us on when she'd be done, we had to continuously call her. I was alone with my baby while my husband was at work, so I needed to know when to come back to the residence to pay her and lock up. She finally let us know she was done, after my daughter had gone to bed so I had to get a babysitter so I could meet her at the residence. I rushed over and SHE WAS NOT THERE! She'd already left and only told me as I arrived there. She told me to come back the next day to meet her and pay her, even though we didn't live in that area and she'd originally told us to meet her at the house and pay her.
Incredibly bad communication, she leaves it up to the customer to get in contact with her instead of the other way around. Dealing with this cleaning service was horribly inconvenient to us.

BUYERS BEWARE!! I normally don't write these types of reviews, but felt my dealings with All City Cleaning should be of community information. I engaged All City Cleaning for a potential move out clean after reading great reviews on the Next Door app. My experience in dealing with the owner was unfortunately not the case. In short, I told the owner I would not need her services and she acknowledged that. However, she forgot to remove my appointment from her own calendar and tried to bill me for her mistake! After refusing to pay for her mistake, she went as far as taking the invoice to a collection agency who continued to pursue these false charges on me! The owner Julia was a very disrespectful, unorganized, and unprofessional business owner in my experience. This entire ordeal was a nuisance to my daily life and I had no choice but to take this to the Better Business Bureau for mediation purposes. And thank God I did, because after communicating back and forth with Julia via BBB, she finally came to her senses and canceled the charges she was trying to make me pay! I have attached my complaint below so you can read about this specific situation in it's entirety and consider yourself warned when dealing with All City Cleaning!

I'm so impressed how spotless my house is. The sink faucets and shower fixtures are so shiny. I'm in awe with how our master shower looks. Our shower has glass doors and had a stubborn stain I've never been able to get rid for 4 years of owning our home. After All City Cleaning came in, my glass doors are clear with no stubborn soap scum. I've never seen them that clear. The stain in the shower is gone and no evidence of it being there. It's like a brand new shower/bathroom. Our windows (inside and out) are spotless. And our carpets looks brand new as well. Thank for helping me with cleaning our home before we put it on the market and taking the stress out of selling/moving. I should've had you come in and clean my shower a long time ago so I could enjoy it.

We used this service consistently for over a year while living in Lacey, WA. The cleaners were trustworthy, punctual, and very thorough in their cleaning! They are experts in cleaning glass shower doors, but all of their work is flawless. I would recommend them for a one-time cleaning (as I have done prior to company coming), or regular intervals (Soon after, I enlisted them for regular cleanings to keep our busy home looking fabulous!). They are easy to work with and their service is worth every penny!

I had purchased an offer thru Amazon Local for 3 Hours of Man Cleaning (for $75.00 which according to them is normally $150.00), and a hour and a half (because there were two people cleaning) later ended up with a clean kitchen a quick run thru of my partial bath. I will say that the work did was good, however for 75.00 to clean a kitchen your better off spending 25.00 on higher end cleaning products and doing the job yourself. After the cleaners left I expressed my concern to the owner or person in charge and did not come to an agreement with how to resolve my issue. Had the offer specified that 2 cleaners would only be a hour and a half of cleaning, I would have sent one person to do the bathrooms and left one person in the kitchen. So I called Amazon Local and being the great customer service gurus that they are ( which I hope All City Cleaning Services takes note of), they were quick to make sure this type of problem would not happen again, and they offered me a credit on my account since they came and a service was done they could not offer a full re fund which I am more than ok with. I suspect the company might say my kitchen was in horrible shape before they arrived and that why they only worked on 2/4 areas, I will admit the oven needed some extra attention but I had even moved majority of the items on the counter to help them be more efficient with their time. All in all I think the work done was mediocre, it defiantly gives me confidence to offer my services for a better price and time management, however the thing that really sticks with me is the poor customer service given by this company, and not doing what was agreed upon.

First time I called, no one returned my call. When I called back a week later, I was told that she "lost" my phone number. I told myself that that sort of thing can happen – a simple mistake. Scheduled an appointment to have our windows washed – they called two hours beforehand to cancel after my partner and I had already rearranged our work schedules for the day. Made an appointment through their living social coupon. They scheduled for 11am, did not show up. I called they said they rescheduled for 3pm. I said well aren't you suppose to call, they dismissed me and said they would be there at 3pm. I had to rearrange my schedule based on their lack of customer service. They charged me an extra $52.50, for dusting and mopping the floors. Basically, 2 people can only clean kitchen counters and bathrooms in a 1 1/2 hour time frame. The cleaning was not done up to par. Grime still around faucets and kitchen sink had left over mopping dirt in it. They did not vacuum or their vacuum did not suck! The owner, could have cared less about the customers and only the money to be made. Very disappointing experience. I was hoping this would be a service I could use regularly; however, I will be looking elsewhere. Owner is making the money and the workers aren't! This was a learning experience and will ask many more questions before having someone clean again! Get total quote up front!!
