Wow! I thought I was so lucky to have found this service and used them for years. Lynda was all about being a family. Until I tactfully and kindly asked her to stick to our cleaning service plan and pointed out some things I wasn't happy with. She ditched us. Said there was no pleasing me and wouldn't reply to calls or messages to try and communicate. Terribly unprofessional. The staff generally provide a great service and I was otherwise happy until Lynda shows up to clean and spends her time doing all the things we asked not to be done like rearranging our cupboards instead of vacuuming piles of crumbs from in the couch even though that's literally what I asked them to do and not do extras right before they started. She said I didn't need the time allotted and they left early. When I asked, she got defensive and guilt tripped me before not replying at all. Take a look elsewhere if you have any higher expectations for your provider.

I was so incredibly happy with the service I received from All Clean. My husband and I recently bought a house in Nanaimo only to move in and find that the previous owner hadn't cleaned a thing. The bathrooms and kitchen were simply not usable. As you can imagine this was stressful to say the least. I called All Clean and spoke with Lynda (the owner) and she was cheerful and reassuring. She put me at ease and arranged to have cleaners come to our house bright and early the very next morning. The cleaners who came (Randi and Melinda) were so pleasant and got straight to work make our house sparkle. I found the rates to be reasonable and on par with other quotes that I received but the service was beyond what I could have hoped for.

Overall, the cleaners did a good job. I purchased the "deep clean" option. I booked them because I liked the fact that they used all natural cleaning products as we have family pets and little kids.

3 women came to the house for a total of 10 hours between them. I have an 1100 sq foot house. They were all very nice and seemed to know what they were doing.

After they were done, the overall cleanliness had me pleased. As I started to look closer, the baseboards and above the curtains weren't touched (and that should have been done. The kitchen was in great shape but they had used some of my own oven cleaner (well it was in the cleaning drawer, must have been here when we moved in) and every time I turned on the oven it smelled like chemicals. Gross.
Nothing natural about that.

The owner was nice, but was a bit flakey. Took a long time in the beginning to get my quote and then never received an invoice after I had requested it.

As a former professional in a large service oriented corporation, I'm very well aware of the fact that with increasing demand and business, prices tend to increase and product quality as well as customer service decreases often.
If I had to write this review one year ago, I would have had nothing but good things to say about D & D Exteriors. While considerably more expensive than similar businesses, the job they did was acceptable and the team pleasant and efficient.
When reaching out to them as a repeat customer approximately six months after they cleaned our gutters to discuss a concern, the owner responded extremely unprofessionally, accusing me of being unreasonable and unqualified in assessing the quality of the work they performed. Instead of taking a professional approach and suggesting to have a quick look to determine whether something was overlooked, a relatively minor issue escalated.
A subsequent investigation revealed a blockage at the entrance of the downspout had caused the gutter not to drain properly and once again to overflow. Furthermore, a previously installed screen on the downspout had not been re-installed after cleaning and was found lying in the gutter upstream of the drain, thus allowing debris to block the downspout. I only became aware of this during the recent heavy rains.
Had the owner of D & D been truly professional, he would have at least offered to investigate to determine whether something had been missed.
However, based on this unpleasant experience, I cannot recommend this business.

I reached out to Maid in Nanaimo and booked an appointment online. After several attempts, I never managed to reach them on the phone and online booking is what they recommend. I scheduled my cleaning three weeks in advance and they waited 11 days to email me saying that my booking had been cancelled as they could not accommodate it. I am not happy with how long they waited to notify me as now I have very short notice to book another cleaning service.
