Worst maid service ever. First off, to get a deep cleaning, there is a 2 hour, $130 min, which is fine , and what I signed up for with Tessa in the front office. I told her to run my card for the $130, and made it very clear that that is all I wanted charged. After 2 hours, even if the girls weren't completely done, I wanted them to stop. About 1 hour in to my cleaning, both girls asked if they could "take a break. " Of course I agreed, assuming that this break was off the clock. They went outside for 20 min, then came back and finished up. They worked for exactly 2 hours altogether and finished everything. Then all of a sudden when doing the ending paperwork, one of the girls says that I owed an additional $31 because they had worked 20 min over time. What???? I have to pay for their BREAK??? I was mad, but am not a very confrontational person, so called Tessa in the front office without putting up a fight. I told her not to run the card they had on file for the additional $31 because I had only put enough on there for the 2 hr cleaning. The card I use primarily is my Discover Card, which they do not take. I told her that card was with my wife, and when she got home later, I would go to the ATM, withdraw the money, and bring it up to their office. Tessa informed me that this was unacceptable and that the girls could not leave until I found a way to pay. I told her ( light heartedly but firmly ) " I don't really know what to tell you, but they ARE going to leave my house I promise you. " Tessa then told me that I had to bring the cash by that day or "charges would be filed". I was very angry so just said a quick "ok" and passed the phone off to one of the girls. When I brought the money up there 2 hours later, I tried to explain to Tessa that the girls had taken a break and really only cleaned for 2 hours. She just looked at me like I was stupid and said " but they were still at your house, and you should of known they are on the clock until they finish. "
I agreed just to end the conversation, and tried to book another cleaning for 1 month later. My wife was hosting a party and I wanted the house cleaned the day before. The date was random, and not on or anywhere around any holiday. Tessa snootily replied that " we are all booked that week" without even looking, and then said " we obviously aren't compatible anyway. I don't want to have another non payment issue like this again- please find some other service. "

The representative on the phone made MaidPro sound like a dream come true when it came to cleaning services. Cleaning #1 – They sent me someone who arrived over 2 hours late. They said someone would be here between 10 and 12. She got here at 2:45. They charged me $115 for a 5 hour clean. She was there for 2 hours. She skipped a toilet. Didn't empty any waste baskets. She brought her child, who ate cookies and fruit out of my kitchen and had smashed them into my couch and left crumbs all over the counter. I kindly called MaidPro and asked them to send someone different. They said I could expect a phone call from their manager. The original house cleaner called, apologized for her child, and took $20 off my next clean. Cleaning #2 – I had company over. When we simply said we were leaving the house to go have drinks, she asked if I had a drinking problem and suggested we don't drink and drive, as if it were her business? She skipped the second toilet AGAIN and skipped the floors altogether in my second bedroom. Trashcans were not all emptied. I let her know that if I continued to pay her, my house needed to SPARKLE at $100 every 2 weeks ($50/HOUR). She said "Yes ma'am." Cleaning #3 – Asked if she could come the day following our scheduled cleaning day. Her son was sick. The next day, she asked if she could do it the NEXT day. She was having a rough day. Are you kidding me? Done with this place. Absolutely ridiculous.

Cajun maids came about 5 times to our house. It was usually a different person every time. I would say the cleaning was good but not great. Depending on the person some things were missed like wiping down the faucets or moving things on the counter when cleaning. We ended up canceling the service because our stove top was scratched when cleaning. The stove was only a couple months old and there were scratches all over the black metal exposing the silver under. We reached out to the company minutes after the maids left and noticing it. They reached out to us once and then never called back or returned our calls. We only wished they pay for touch up paint and not a replacement part but we have never heard back.
Update: After posting this review Cajun maids has worked with me to resolve this issue.

I have used their service before when I moved out of a home and I called them again recently for the flat rate cleaning of my home. Overall, I was pleased. I only had to do two things myself. The hardwood floors in my living space were swept however they did not sweep under the furniture and the kitchen countertops were not cleaned. Other than this, I was fine with the work that was done because it saved me some time in having to clean it myself. I would use them again.

This is the very best maid service I have ever used. I ordered a deep cleaning due to lots of neglect for over a year. My house had pet hair everywhere (three cats and a dog), heavy dust with dust particles flying through the air like a blizzard, carpet in livingroom and bedroom pet hair buildup, furniture pet hair buildup, etc. The windows and blinds had been sorely neglected as well. A crew of two showed up and shortly after they arrived, I left for errands and appointments.
What I came back to is hard to describe fully. It was magical! No dust blizzard was the first thing I noticed. All surfaces of wood furniture were dust and hair free. The sofas and chairs had been vacuumed. The fixtures on the fans and in the bathrooms had been taken down and washed. The carpet was pet hair free. The kitchen was sparkling clean. Both bathrooms were sparkling clean. All of the mirrors, blinds and windows were spot free. Pictures on the walls and all the floorboards and door frames wiped down and dusted. Squished bugs had been cleaned off the ceilings and cobwebs eliminated. Even the breezeway had been swept. May appliances in the kitchen and utility room looked brand new. And the bed was remade and turned down just like in a hotel. So many other great things, too. You get the picture!

I do not recommend using them at all. We hired them to come in and clean a house we were moving into and we were not satisfied at all. The bathroom were not clean, the blinds were barely dusted, the stove was not cleaned, etc. I had to go back and re clean the entire house. The shower was disgusting as well as the stovetop. We were charged $229 for this. I called the company and explained to them what had happened and they only offered us a $30 refund for some services we had added. I told her still was not ok with paying $200 for the services and we were eventually offered a $100 refund and a discount for the next cleaning. Not only is the service horrible by the office is hard to get in touch with. On google it gives you the owners cell phone number. When you finally get the correct number to the main office nobody ever answers and you have to leave a voicemail. Please do yourself a favor and book a different cleaning company.
