We requested quotes from many cleaning companies and decided to go with Lollimaids due to their availability and good reviews that were posted on Yelp.
We booked a move in/move out cleaning to prepare a house for rental as we just purchased it. When the cleaning ladies first arrived they were instructed to focus on the kitchen first as we knew the previous tenants left the appliances fairly dirty. We also requested the team to vacuum first since we had carpet cleaners coming shortly after. Neither request was followed. The cleaning was booked for 2.5 hours and when I arrived at the 2 hr mark to see what was left….it was a disaster. None of the bathrooms had been properly cleaned, no vacuuming was done in the bathrooms, no shower/tub was scrubbed, toilets were not fully cleaned, no blinds had been wiped, no baseboard has been wiped, no appliances were cleaned, no fans had been dusted, the list went on.
At that point we had voiced our concerns to Lollimaids to ensure everyone was on the same page and they said they would let the team know. For the next 2.5 hrs after that —- we have no idea what the cleaning team was doing. They told us they had no clean rags left, proceeded to keep wiping the fridge with the dirty rags and spray the inside of the oven but never cleaned it. They kept wiping the rest of the house and eventually we had to call Lollimaids to please ask them to leave and send us another team. Honestly we would have rather them not even come at that point because they didn't even do that much cleaning. We felt like we should've sat there to watch them during the first 2 hrs to ensure that they actually cleaned.
However, Lollimaids had excellent customer service and sent us another team as soon as possible to get the job done. We were more than satisfied with the second team's work. If only this was the team they sent us the first time it would have saved us so much headache and time.

Disappointed. I requested deep cleaning but didn't get what I paid for.
3 maids came through and only spent 1.5 hours in the house. I had done the pre-work and cleared the floor & countertops so they can do a good wipe down, but a lot of cleaning was missed.
Turned out a bunch of works were not included in deep cleaning:
* Window sills were not wiped.
* Oven and stoves were not cleaned.
* Cabinets were not wiped. This includes cabinet that houses the trash can…..
* blinds were not dusted
* cat trees covered with fur is untouched.
When we pointed out the missed areas – response we got from the maids were either "it's not part of deep clean but I'll do it to be nice" or "not part of deep clean call my manager if you don't agree."
What they are supposed to clean were done poorly
* dining table was still sticky after
* More dust on bathroom countertop than it was before (maybe they used a dirty rug?)
* floor still had pieces of trashes after and still have furs around.
* tub still had hairs on them
was going to hire them to do weekly clean but now will look elsewhere. Their quote is very expensive for quality of their work and effort put in.

TLDR: Not happy. Will not book again.
After my last update (below), Lollimaids contacted me for a free cleaning. I accepted. Given how promptly they reached out, I decided to book a new job to clean my mom's recently renovated house.
It was booked for 3-5:30pm Thursday.
When the cleaning crew arrived, some of the construction guys were still there finishing up. The latter texted around 2pm to notify us the cleaning crew had arrived. My mom drove over. She saw the cleaning crew leave at 2:25pm.
There are 2 problems here:
1. If we go by what the construction crew said, the cleaning crew was here for less than 30 mins to clean a 2 story home.
2. When I brought the issue up to Lollimaids, they said the cleaning crew was there for the full 2.5hours. But that brings up another problem, which is that they arrived at noon, when we had booked a 3pm cleaning. What's the point of making appointments if they're just going to come whenever? What if no one had been available to help open the door?
Not a good job. The cleaning was very superficial. They mopped, but some places needed a bit more elbow grease. These places just needed a few extra seconds of harder scrubbing to remove a film of dirt. One closet was completely missed (pic attached) and it had dust all over the floor. The outside of cabinets had obvious dust. We found a toilet that had pee splatter on it; construction crews had used it. I assume the cleaners thought the toilet was new and wouldn't need a wipe down. We ended up re-cleaning everything ourselves today (Friday) because we have furniture arriving tomorrow (Saturday.)
–Customer Service Issue–
When I brought up the issues to Lollimaids, they blamed the floor issues on paint.. even though it was obviously dirt and dust. They emailed, quote, "We would love to help with this – sadly we do not remove paint from floors or other surfaces; this is something that would need to be addressed with the painters. We unfortunately do not carry these types of chemicals and and do not want to risk damaging your surfaces. "
I, too, don't have these chemicals they're referencing, and yet, I was able to clean it up. How strange.
This nonsense cost me $225 for an 1800 sq ft home.
So basically. They were great for a few months.. then the quality went downhill significantly and that's unfortunate because I would've stayed with them. I ended up canceling the free re-cleaning for my place because I don't trust their service.
Not too happy with our last clean to be honest. It was just a surface clean. Found several spots that were completely missed. I guess this is just what happens when a different crew comes by every time. I also had one appt that was postponed last minute because they didn't have enough cleaners. To be fair, I also didn't reach out to management.. just figured I'd look elsewhere.

I have given Lollimaids several chances over the last 2 years but today is my last chance. The first time I used them the team was great! They came in were polite took time to go through each room making sure they knew what I was expecting and asked questions if they were unsure. Each time has gotten progressively worse. I get teams that can't or won't follow directions. I give them gate codes and instructions they won't use them. I have asked them to give me a call if they are early if I won't be home and they will just show up early and complain about waiting. After the first team all others just walk in don't speak or introduce themselves which to me is rude. Even when I speak first they just walk right past me, terrible customer service. They don't ask questions which has them doing extra work or forgetting something. I had them come today, I go upstairs and they were changing my sheets. My bed was made and I didn't want them to change my sheets. Also I left no sheets out for them to change so I'm not sure what they were doing. The last crew that came I asked them 1. To do a walk thru first, they refused again they just walked in no, hello no, intro and just walked right past me upstairs like I wasn't even there. 2. I told them to put on waterproof booties over their shoes when cleaning out my walk in shower. They also refused we exchanged words and they said they were leaving I told them yes it was best they get out. I called and let Lollimaids know what was happening they said they would send another crew the next day. The next day came and the crew had a flat tire and couldn't come. Lollimaids was apologetic and sent a team the next week after I came from out of town. They said they would not charge me since there were multiple inconveniences. I said I appreciated that BUT they did end up charging me anyway. Today same story just walk in no hello, no questions just walk right past me and up my stairs. Maybe some people like that and don't want to be bothered but I personally want to know who the heck is in my home. And while I only have 2 special requests when cleaning my house some people are more particular and so they should be asking people if there is anything they should know before cleaning someone's home. Besides my primary bathroom my house really is a light clean so the actual cleaning I do not have an issue with for the most part. However it's always a hassle with Lollimaids. Also I am big on customer service and they provide none. I try to be polite, respectful to them as they are providing a much appreciated service and I tip nicely so if I can't get the same respect I shall have to look for a new service. Oh well. I tired.

Surprised by all the positive reviews, as this was not my experience. Team was not bilingual as indicated online, so they were not able to communicate with me. Eco friendly options are appreciated, but using the same rags for the kitchen and the bathroom is not sanitary.

Their cleaning crews do a great job at making your house look clean by organizing and paying attention to those small details. When it comes to actually cleaning the house, the crews are not always consistent.
It's hard when the company is sending different cleaning crews every other time. Some clean above and beyond and others do the bare minimum. Today we cancelled our reoccurring service because the team didn't mop, vacuum or thoroughly wipe down the most obvious places in our house. Note- it's just my boyfriend and I living here and I keep the house tidy in between bookings. We're not asking for them to do much while they're here!
We were paying $135 (this price is including discounts) for a crew to come once a month and clean our 3 bd 2.5 bath house. Not worth it in the end to not have cleanliness consistent.

They cleaned really well and were thorough. My biggest complaint is that they left everything completely out of place. I had stuff PILED up on my couch when I got home. Our kitchen table was completely crooked where they had moved it and then not put it back. The stuff on the counters that they moved had not been moved back neatly. The curtains were all lifted up. I had to spend 15 minutes going through the house just to put everything back where it was. It looked like they were just in a hurry. The company did reach out and offer a free clean for compensation, which is very generous! They seem to care about customer satisfaction which is why they deserve the 4 star review!

My experience with cleaning services is that, sure most of the basic things will get done, but inevitably there are one or two very obvious things that don't. Sometimes you have pay more for those things, and sometimes you have to be insanely specific; neither of which I'm a fan of. Lollimaids cleaned EVERYTHING I expected AND MORE at a reasonable price. My house is not particularly messy, yet other than the floors, their job was only OK. Also, I had to keep asking them to vacuum this piece of furniture and that chair, etc. I reported same to David and rather than fix the immediate issue, he scheduled another visit with different people. I did not schedule the appointment, nor would I.
Thankfully, my regular housekeeper has recovered from her injury and has returned to clean my house. She does such a wonderful job; I can not, and will not, pay for mediocre work.

HORRIBLE, POOR, INCOMPLETE, UNPROFESSIONAL SEEVICE, They did a detail cleaning of 4000 square feet vacant home in 2 and half hours, and when checked their work after they left, the oven was not done, blinds were left out, when I moved in I notice the floors to my laundry room and other small areas of the floor was not done, dusting was not done,they took my brand new water bottles, wipes and disinfectant spray, paper towel, and JBL speakers, when I called back they retuned speaker only and said they trashed everything else, when I asked for refund DAVID the owner refused, and was very rude and not understanding about the issue. I had to call another cleaning service to finish the job! If y'all want a true cleaning then I recommend keep searching cause you won't get your money worth by the is bogus Seevice!!

We have used Maid Sense housekeeping services for almost 2 years since we moved to Texas and they have met our expectations many times. Even though the first few times I did have some complaints with David, the owner, about our salted water fish tank not supposed to be touched but David did pay some attention to this matter. The last time we weren't happy when it was right before Christmas and the maids did a pretty average job rushing in and out of the house but after I gave them a negative rating on their website, I knew the owner did send a better team to clean our place for many times after (which means he must have read the reviews and ratings!) Thanks for doing a great job most of the times! Just hope the quality would be more consistent among different teams. The maids are honest, attentive and very kind to my little boy who are pretty shy. They are very on time, always get to our place at 9am as I requested even though the booked window is from 8-10am. And they don't use chemicals around our little joy as I also requested. Prices are very reasonable and if you are a regular customer you are on the schedule which guarantees you some good cleaning close to holidays. Website to book or change appointments are easy to use and it always sends a reminder for your upcoming service so you can change it if needed by 5pm the day before to avoid penalty fee. Hope you guys will continue doing awesome and will expand the team even bigger to support a bigger community! I did refer your services to one of our neighbors across the street.

My experience with Maid Sense was average to say the least. Communication with their administrative team was not very professional. It was enough to make me not want to use them again, especially when there are so many companies out there with much better customer service. The maids were fine, but for a first time cleaning, the price is significantly higher (50% higher!!), and I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. I found this company after I searched on yelp. David is quick to reply and happy to accommodate his customers with whatever request is given. I am always so happy with the results of his cleaning crew. They wear masks the entire time they are at the house so I feel safe with the ladies cleaning the house during these crazy COVID times. I have used 4-5 different cleaning companies over the last few years and I have landed on Maid Sense (using them for over a year now!) and don't imagine ever leaving them. The other cleaning services started out strong, and then were lazy with their cleaning, but Maid Sense has been consistent with their cleanings! I get my house cleaned every two weeks and I have only had 1 time that I was unhappy and with one quick call to David, the small issue was fixed. That's pretty great if you ask me.

Overpriced and very poor job with cleaning. I got pre-move in cleaning and they did a very sloppy job in bathrooms and with window cleaning. Also they did not clean inside any cabinets and drawers, which should be normal for a vacant move-in clean. Looks like I wasted over $350 dollars since I will hire somewhere else to property clean the bathroom, windows, and inside cabinets. They really scam you with their hourly rate and better to hire someone with full upfront change (lesson learned). I had many other quotes for flat charge rate which I was lower than what they charged and the fact that the cleaning Job was very poor was many areas left untouched and they didn't even dust the ceiling fans.

I was not happy with the service i was given. The cost was about $470 for a move in/move out cleaning, there was no furniture in the home. One room was not even touched and as i wiped my hand on the built in desk it was covered in dust. There were crumbs left in the microwave, handprints on glass on the doors, it was as if the cleaners came to do a quick routine cleaning but charged us for a 5 hour deep clean. The carpet looked good but otherwise I wouldn't recommend this cleaning service. After expressing our concerns, the owner wasn't willing to do more than give a 15% discount only on the hourly clean and not the total cost. I have used too many good services to be satisfied with this level of service.

We hired BCC for a Deep Cleaning to prep our house to sell. Sadly, we had a terrible experience. We spent the evening recleaning the house. We couldn't figure out what they did in the time they were at our house – the fans, headboards, kitchen appliances, chairs were not even dusted. We honestly have never had such poor service with any of our previous cleaners. On a positive note, they did a nice job on the master bath shower. I wish they had carried that through the rest of the house. Not worth the $300+ we paid.

Didn't know a thing about them when we had them in our office to clean all our cubicle panels. They were on time, the crew lead was professional, and they did an excellent job.
A few weeks later, we had them back in to clean the carpet throughout the suite. Again, they were on time, the same lead was just as dedicated to doing a great job, and they made the logistics so easy.
So yesterday, I hired them to do a one time deep clean of my own home. They missed absolutely nothing – fans, baseboards, picture frames, not a speck of dust or dog hair to be found. Different crew but just as efficient and professional.

Ok, for $600 that including a tip i expected my home to be smelling like pine sol. I only tip bc i thought it was the right thing to do not bc i was satisfy. At that point i havent inspect the home yet. I asked for a deep cleaning but we end up having to go over again what they didnt do. I told the lady many times to make sure to get the the base boards. Yet, i still find dust on them throughout the home, especially in my guest bathroom. I get it, its a big house, but they were there for 9 hrs and it seems like they pretty much just pickup things and wipe down surfaces only. My parents were disappointed to come home to that.

Next business day I got a call from Kathy who was super accomodating amd helpful, she helped me schedule for a Saturday clean, and even helped me reschedule when I called back about 4 hours later.
On cleaning day, I got a text 30 minutes before my assigned cleaning crew (two very efficient ladies) arrived, they looked around and then told me I would get a call when they were done.
I got a text not 30 minutes later informing me of an estimated 4 hours clean time which was one hour less than I was quoted.
3:30 hours later I got a call telling me they'd be ready in 20 minutes. I drove down and the house was sparkling clean on the inside!
Paid with my credit card and got a receipt through the email.
Overall I would 100% recommend Better Choice Cleaning. If you can, ask for Alma, she did a phenomenal job.

Just used Better Choice Cleaners a second time for make-ready cleaning before a tenant moves into our condo after construction. So nice that I can trust them to do a thorough job the day before move in. The pic shows the crystal clear sliding glass doors. Only suggestion I have is to use a little less water on laminate floors. It wasn't so much that I had to dry them when she left, but it's recommended to limit moisture on these floors or risk warping.

I found them on yelp on a sunday night for a small apartment move 2 days later and left them a message. Got a message from Jordan 5 minutes later to give him a call. He walked me through how he'll approach the move and how much the total move would cost. Big moving companies slide in small fees here and there, but his price was very clear and reasonable.
The movers were well equipped, careful and also really quick. Had experience with movers who tried to drag out the time for extra $$, but these guys were super fast. 2.5 hours for a one bedroom apartment move! Needed a moving company for service from one storage unit to another storage unit, less than 4 miles away in Humble, TX. Basically a 2-man job. Checked several companies. Many wanted to charge a $100 fee per mover with a 2-hour minimum and then pro-rated after that, plus a travel/gas fee from $125 to $135. However, one company did not service my area and suggested Lavish Living. I gave them a call and spoke with Jordan. We agreed upon a price and a moving date of 2 days later. On the date of the move, unfortunately, Jordan did run late, about an hour, but contacted me along the way. From our meeting at the 1st unit to our conclusion at the 2nd unit, everything went smoothly. I was also very pleased with his patience, as I wanted my items placed in the 2nd unit in a specific way. I contacted MIH last minute, because I didn't have time to deep clean before family came to visit. Jeff was quick to respond with a quote and continued to be super responsive during all of our interactions after that. He even sent a reminder the day before and let me know when they were on their way day of. The cleaning team was on time, friendly, efficient, and did a great job. They even left little roses made from toilet paper on our rolls. Great experience and I will definitely use them again.

I'm moving into a new apartment so I found this company on Yelp to clean it up before my official move. I read good reviews and never thought I'd have an issue until my experience that I recently had. (I now realize most of the good reviews are somewhat old) I came back to my apartment and noticed dust in multiple places, simple things such as the counters weren't even wiped down, and to be honest I could've done a better job myself. It was such a joke! When I reached out to Jeff and voiced my concerns he didn't respond to them until I called him. He became angry with me on the phone and said I was being nitpicky. During the consultation I specifically asked him if the closet shelves would be cleaned and he said they would be, and they were not even touched. They did not even vacuum in the small closet in the front of my apartment or clean the bathroom counter or faucet at all either. All the window sills were left dusty as well.
There was an issue that my apartment had been recently painted and apparently this made the cleaners rush while they were cleaning my apartment. If they had noticed the paint smell as soon as they got there they should have told me and not started the job at all. It seems like the only thing that was done was that the floor was vacuumed and the toilet was cleaned albeit very badly.
Upon discovering this I sent the owner multiple photos and asked if there was anyway that this could be resolved? Maybe the cleaners ran out of time and had to come back? But no his only solution was him getting mad at me on the phone and he insisted that the cleaners did a good job for me given the circumstances. When I asked him how he wanted to handle this he said in no way because "we are done" not even any effort to correct this terrible job and he hung up on me. I will now spend my time cleaning my own apartment and being $100 out! He was kind at first and I was nothing but professional and honest and he took it out on me aggressively. After voicing my concerns he hung up on me and avoided all of my issues only asking for money. Word of advice – find any cleaning service but this one. They do not care about the client, do not even attempt to do a good job at cleaning, and only are concerned about getting their money. I will be telling my friends about them so they can avoid this company. Would rate 0 stars if possible.
And to the owner it's one thing to want to collect your money but getting angry at someone is never appropriate. I truly hope you don't treat your employees the way you treated me.

We shopped around cleaning services for a while and Maid In House really stood out from the competition. While we were getting quotes, Maggie came to our house and met with us, walked through the house, took notes, and explained her company. She is very professional and extremely personable. We really liked her approach and the fact she uses the same team for each cleaning. This was important to us as you're basically letting strangers in your house.
They've been very good about cleaning wood and counters with the correct products. Other companies we spoke with just gave rough estimates based on square footage and seemed to rely on volume and weren't as personal. A lot of negative reviews of those companies stemmed from them using the same products regardless of floor/counter type (which can be problematic) and also that there was very little accountability if any problems came up. The fact that Maggie knows her team and is very hands on gave us a little more peace of mind. I have no doubt that she'd take care of any issues immediately.
Our first clean was the second week of March and it was a really deep clean that left our place spotless. They spent a good 4 hours on a Saturday working incredibly hard. Maggie wanted to be present for our first clean so we was nice enough to schedule it on the weekend so she was there to make sure everything went perfectly, and it did.
We had wood floors installed last August and when they were done, they looked brand new. In fact, everything looked great. There's also less dust which helps my wife's allergies.
I would absolutely recommend this company to friends. It may cost a little more than the competition but it's worth every penny for the peace of mind, professionalism, and the higher quality work.

If you just need a good cleaning to look ok for guests then it is great. I booked a move-out cleaning and explained when booking that I needed oven, cabinets, etc. done. I had to mention dusting the blinds and louvered doors for them to get cleaned. I would expect with a move-out cleaning they would wipe the top of the door frames and such. They have a checklist they give you where it states dust reachable vents, I guess one on the ceiling or at the top edge of 8ft walls is not in a reachable spot. I was told a crew of two would be there at 8am, one person showed up at 9am. I was charged for six hours however Overall….would not use again for a move-out cleaning.

I have previously tried Molly Maid and Merry Maids and found both to be either too expensive or the quality of work was insufficient. I contacted Maid In House and had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Maggie. She gave me a price quote (very reasonable) for my 2 bedroom apartment over the phone and squeezed me into her cleaning staff's schedule right away even though they were fully booked that week. Maggie was very professional and was present to introduce herself and her staff on the first visit. I've only had 2 different cleaning crews work in our home and she made sure to be present to introduce the second crew as well. Each cleaning has been thorough and efficient, it usually takes them less than an hour to clean the entire apartment (about 1,100 sqft). One more thing I'd like to mention is payment method, I asked Maggie wether or not I could pay with a credit card and she said the best way to pay is with cash or check to avoid being charged a small fee by the credit card processing company. She did provide the option to pay with a credit card so that's nice for those of us who want the convenience and don't mind the extra fee. Soi was in need of carpet cleaning within a short period of time. Wasnt a fan of the dry carpet cleaning and I trued our previous "go to" steam cleaner and the phone rep was apathetic and didnt get back to me and when i contacted her back she seemed like she could care less. I THEN contacted AquaTec as I had seen 5 star reviews. They couldnt tell me for sure but they did promise to check appts and get back with me even after 5, 530 pm had come and gone. Seems like good customer service is rare these days. But not with AquaTec! They gave me a fast quote, beat everyone in their price and came out THE NEXT day to clean my sectional. They went through some hiccups due to their President falling ill. But once they realized a mistake in following-up, they went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of going forward. I want to thank the entire AquaTec team for their profession service from beginning to end. Scheduling was seamless. On the day of service, Brock called right on time and was at our house within less than 30 minutes. He walked the house with us and even helped us with additional service for some stains we had given up on in an area rug in the formal living room. What a fantastic company! We found them because they were cleaning carpets in a unit behind us and my wife got their business card. We had them here today to clean 2 room, 1 hallway, and the stairs. We haven't had the carpet professionally cleaned for 11 years. Always do it with our home cleaner.

The techs were very friendly and very professional. In addition to cleaning the carpet they provided excellent advice on getting spots up (we have one cat who loves to hack up hairballs on our beige carpet). They also told us what type carpet to buy whenever we decide to replace ours.

This is the first time I used this company. I chose them due to the positive reviews hereon Yelp and they did not dissapoint.
All the process (from getting a quote until shaking hands at the end of the job) was an absolute pleasure.
Ivan and I exchanged messages before setting up an appointment. He answered all of my questioms and addressed all my concerns (I'm pregnant and was concerned about chemicals used in the process).
We set up an appointment for today. He said he was going to be here between 1 and 3 pm and that he will call 30 minutes prior to his arrival. It was exactly what happened: 2:28 pm he calls and at 2:55 he was at my apartment.
About the job: this was an easy job. My carpets were in good condition to begin with, just wanted to fresh them up before the baby arrives. My carpets look great, smell great and I feel better now knowing it's all ready and clean for my little one.

I needed routine rug cleaning for all the rugs in my house. No stains or what-not. I sent a quote request online, and indicated the brands, sizes, and fiber content if each. They got back to me the next day, and I moved forward with making an appointment. They called me the day before to confirm they'd be by tomorrow within X window of time. Then they called me again when they were on the way, within my time window.
They were quick and efficient, and talked me through everything they were doing to my rugs. I had a variety of styles and makes, so they told me what could be done with each. I was worried about a hand-made hand-dyed (no dye block) antique Turkish rug, so I omitted it from my quote. But he said he'd clean it for free to show me it'd be ok (which it was).
When it came time to pay, the quote was honored 100%, simply added the tax. Since they charge by square foot, you'll know what your getting without regard for the type of rug. Maybe if I needed stain treatment or something, it might be different.
I was expecting to be told that some rugs were more precious and needed something 'unexpectedly special' but that wasn't the case. They also gave me some tips on what prices would be fair if I ever needed additional service elsewhere in the future.
