I was referred to Oili Cleaning Service and I was greatly disappointed. At first I was impressed by Priscilla's quick response to visit my home and give me a quote. She informed me that she charges $50 – $75 per room. I responded that I could afford $50 per room. She agreed then we proceeded to set up a cleaning appointment for her to come at 1pm the following day but she did not show up. I texted her to ask if she was coming at 1:15pm she responded that she was running late and would be there at 2pm. Then 2pm came and went without any courtesy call. I proceeded to start cleaning my house myself as it was getting too late in the day. Priscilla finally arrived at 3:30pm. She apologized for being late then asked if she could have another opportunity to clean. Against my better judgement I gave her another chance and set up another cleaning appointment. Again she did not show up nor call me. Instead I received the following response to my text asking if she was coming, "I don't think so" she went on to say that she wasn't going to clean my house for the price that she quoted me. RUN!!!! Oh my wow, this girl was fantastic at cleaning our place. We had her come over for the first time and despite her busy schedule she accomodate us and was more than willing to work with us.
Her cleaning style is great. She is full of energy and got a lot done in 2 hours, however I would recommend you get her for 3 or more because then it makes it worth it and all gets done.
We decided to have her come every other week since our home is not so busy. I totally recommend her.

Melissa from Affordable Cleaning out of Pahoa was the best.
She was on-time. She was nice and kind. She was professional and prepared. She did great jobs cleaning and organizing our living room and dinning room and kitchen. The windows were so clean afterword I had to put bird decals on them to keep the birds from flying into them.
She was such a treat to have in our home.
Because we live over an hour away from her home base area she did say in the future she would have to charge a $10 gasoline fare. I felt that was more tan fair.
We hired her to come back before May 13th.
We would hire her weekly if she was available.

Within 24 hours Jessica contacted me to schedule an appointment. We did a walk through at my grandma's house and quoted me a price. She showed up promptly on the day of cleaning. In a few hours, bada bing bada boom! The whole place was immaculate. Grandma said it was better than when she first moved in. Jessica is very pleasant and professional. Unfortunately my service was cancelled.
A vague and unsatisfying stock letter was sent to me stating that I had been reported because a cleaner was uncomfortable…Odd, I was so blooming happy to have help every two weeks cleaning our wood floors and bathrooms. I was enthusiastic and helpful. I was a clear communicator. I then sent an apology via email to the office staff and owner, not knowing what I was apologizing for, but needing more information to further clarify, I was willing to confront whatever was the issue, or problem in order to correct it, if it was me please let me know.
Trying to contact the owner and not receiving any correspondence back about what went wrong(it's been 4 months) should've been the clue. Let me say that the service started out good for me, so this started to feel deceptive.
Obviously, when working in a personal setting in close contact or speaking distance to a person or people, the employee should have some basics down pat. They need their boundaries straight, and confidence up. Don't come to work into peoples' houses with a background of trauma and emotional distress. Likewise, serious consideration has to be placed on safety in a home, referring to drugs or alcohol or both, any sort of abuse, or having to fend off someone who is lingering too close physically. Absolutely, homeowners should have an immediate cancellation of contract.
In our case, thankfully I'm proud to state, none of those criteria exist. However, which is why I still find this odd end perplexing.
Also, Aloha All Natural was not owning up in person. The Owner, clarifying the issue with both parties, and in person, would have been the first remedy. A quick call was necessary to clear up any confusion or give direction for changes to correct an error. But, with no follow up to comfort my request, I started to wonder if my 'rub out' was due to a financial arrangement that was fair to me, but wasn't matching the dollar of what the owner intended.
So after all the happy cleanings that happened, and good help that was given, was my 'end' due to a disgruntled but already rattled employee? Or was it a financial 'up-level' made without the courtesy of a phone call to a good home owner? Sheesh, I can't seem to give 5 stars for that.

My husband contacted Aloha All Natural Cleaning Services to clean our home. He had been sick and I had been working long hours, so our home needed some serious TLC. Katie was really quick and responsive to get a cleaner over to our home, which was a plus. However, since it is a cleaning company, the real measure of success is in the quality of the cleaning. Our cleaner started with the upstairs of our home and was going to move on to the downstairs when the upstairs was completed. My husband and I were home, so as soon as she "finished" the upstairs, we assessed the work she had done. It was so bad, my husband actually went downstairs and told the cleaner to leave as we didn't want things to get any worse. She was at our home for 4 hours, and somehow nothing actually looked clean.
She did not move anything to clean underneath. Areas that had been "cleaned" had huge chunks of dust and dirt on them. I understand natural cleaners and expected some natural cleaning products like vinegar or baking soda, but seemed like all she was using was water. Everywhere she had sprayed her stuff and wiped, streaks and smears of watered down dirt were visible. Also, because it seemed like no products were being used, it actually smelled really bad after she had cleaned around the house. It seemed like perhaps she had another job afterwards or something, because she had actually received a phone call which she was assuring she would be able to finish on time and had someone stop by the house that she was also reassuring she was going to be able to finish on time. Whether or not her lack of cleaning was due to her time constraints in unknown to me, but the way that she was cleaning seemed pretty chaotic. Rather than focusing on finishing up a room, she was flitting between all of the different rooms. I used to have a job cleaning homes and vacation rentals while I was in college, so I could recognize that the methods that the cleaner had employed seemed to be pretty inefficient and inexperienced. I am attaching pictures of the areas that had been "cleaned", as a review really wouldn't do it justice.
We notified Katie that we sent her cleaner home due to being extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the cleaning job performed, and to her credit she did offer to send another cleaner to finish up the job. However, she said that this particular cleaner usually gets good feedback and didn't understand what could have went wrong. To me, this seemed to suggest that she felt this was anomalous and that somehow this cleaner went from being awesome and totally detailed oriented to displaying lazy and apathetic cleaning habits. Whether it is true or not, I feel that there is something fundamentally wrong with the way this cleaner operated and my husband and I were concerned with having another cleaner come by who also supposedly had glowing feedback from customers.
For us, cost wasn't a factor at all. If the cleaner had done a phenomenal job, I gladly would pay double of what the rate was. However, given the quality of the job that the cleaner did, I wouldn't even want someone cleaning for free to do what this person did to our home.
Sorry to be so critical, but my husband and I were really disappointed.

They promised to clean the louvres and screens. They arrived and first said they couldn't clean the high ones. So we started cleaning the high ones. They took some of the screens. 12 of them and sat and chatted for almost two hours while supposedly cleaning them. We cleaned 12 others in less than 30 minutes. They couldn't clean any of the light fixtures because they were too high nor the shelves. And you can see in the pictures they left a mess around the house.

At first, we we're super skeptical about letting someone in all corners of our home when we weren't there, so I read every bit of info and review I could find about the company.
