I hired Mommy's Little Helpers to clean my 80 year old mother's new condo.
They were scheduled to clean the house on a Monday. The Thursday before the scheduled cleaning, we found out that the previous owner had the place professionally cleaned. So I asked if she would consider allowing us to cancel, or if not, I'd follow through on the cleaning commitment and have her clean another place for the same number of hours.
She wound not consider allowing us to cancel (lost 167.00 deposit) AND she would not consider cleaning an alternate location. She said the quote was for that day and for that address only.
Absolutely nowhere on the quote did it say the cleaning could not be moved to an alternate address.
Also, she would not talk to me on the telephone to discuss. All of this was handled via text. Even after I told her I did not understand what she was trying to convey in the text, she still did not pick up a phone to discuss with me nor would she answer the phone when I called.
Be extremely careful – I'm also in the service industry. I do understand things happen. I am always much more flexible with my customers. I was shocked, to say the least, that she wouldn't work with us a little more. As you can imagine, to loose 167.00 for an 80-year-old is quite disheartening.

Tamara does an excellent job with deep cleaning. Even if you don't think your house is "dirty" you will walk into it after she is finished and you will be completely amazed. She cleaned our cottage for us and I was completely blown away at how peaceful and refreshing it felt. Everything looked brand new and sparkly! I can't say enough good things about how thorough she is. She truly puts her heart into her work and is worth it!

My home was a disaster I had cleaning services in the past and they were not dependable and took shortcuts and my home never really felt cleaned after they were there I needed a deep cleaning I contacted Mommy's little Helpers and Tamara came out and gave me a quote and set up a date I have to say I was very skeptical because of my past experiences but there are no words to describe how beautiful and thoroughly clean my home looked when Tamara was finished there was not a corner that was missed there was not even a speck of dust or dirt to be found anywhere everything was shining from top to bottom like the first day I moved in and all the pictures room accents and furniture were as though I just bought them and set them in place the bathrooms were sparkling she even unscrewed the toilet seat and cleaned under the hinges I couldn't believe it I have her now coming every two weeks and I would highly recommend her to anyone that wants a good dependable and very thorough cleaning person Tamara is above top notch. When I told him the cat stain didn't come out, he was so nice as to come back and try it again and got it out! I can't recommend Advanced Carpet Care enough. Their work is excellent and the prices are great too. They came with 2 workers, which really speeds things up. They also helped move all my furniture out of the way so they could clean as much carpet as possible. I typically see carpet cleaners just go around obstacles, but these guys actually move stuff so they can be very thorough. After they left, the carpet looked like new and smelled fresh.
We've been putting off a carpet cleaning because of the chemicals, but these guys can use non-toxic solutions and still leave you with really clean carpet. If you need a little more cleaning power, they can use a mild detergent that is still very earth-friendly. Lastly, they are a local business, and I prefer giving my money to the smaller, service-minded businesses over a huge corporation.
