I have just phoned this company for advice on my smelly sofa! Unfortunately it has come with the house we rent, so before considering buying our own suite and putting this into the garage I wanted to weigh up the cost of professional cleaning.
I spoke to Graeme who was incredibly helpful and honest, so honest in fact he told me it would probably be a waste of money for me since it's nigh on impossible to identify the source of the smell.
We spoke on the phone for a good 10 minutes, he was friendly and made a few suggestions on how I could try and sort it myself.
I will definitely be recommending this company to anyone needing carpets or upholstery etc professionally cleaned.

Hi, put in an call this morning Friday, 27th April 2018 to Glasgow Handyman Services and was treated really badly on the phone by a impatient, shot-tempered and difficult guy – hope he's not the owner (god help us!!). He just couldn't be bothered. Its usually the customer that is the one that has to be managed over the phone because of their crankiness not the people running the business! I tried to book work but found the guy on the other on the other end of the phone was just plain rude and really unhelpful. Maybe it was too early in the morning, being 8:30ish, probably eh?!!
Glasgow is a city full of charmers. I would suggest that if your looking for a handyman a key quality is dealing with people and having a bit of savvy on how treat your potential new customers. Can you imagine if they are that rude on the phone what they're like onsite!!
Feck that! I'll off to get a handyman who knows what they are doing.

I arranged an appointment but he was a no show. When I called to check where he was, he rudely replied 'why are you phoning me to ask where I am?' I reminded him about our appointment which he denied making. He told me that he wouldn't be free until 11pm and suggested coming over then to complete the work, in a very passive aggressive manner. I told him just to leave it but he insisted on turning up at that time. I hung up but he continuously rang my phone. As a young woman I found this quite scary and completely unprofessional.

Karen & Claire are such an amazing team they attended our property on time and fully uniformed.
They were very professional and didn't need much instructions, they asked about the property and went straight about the works, when they were finished they made sure with a walk round of all the works they had undertaken and made sure I was completely happy, we were not happy but ecstatic they did such an amazing job.The fact it was hassle free from the moment we booked to completion they had all the equipment and are very professional from start to finish

I'm afraid I would not recommend this service given Pristine reneged on an agreed arrangement for cleaning in terms of cost, time and tasks. After the first visit by Jennifer, who did an outstanding job, I got an e-mail listing "reasons" why Pristine no longer felt they could honour their agreement and recommended I look elsewhere. At no point was I given a chance to respond to the trivial issues raised which could have been resolved easily and speedily. After speaking to Paul he was unable to give me any satisfaction and said he would refer this to Francis and get back to me. Not surprisingly, he didn't. All in all, I'm not at all impressed with Pristine though the cleaner herself did a superb job.
