I contacted Express Carpet Cleaners on Yelp. The owner was quick in responding to my questions and gave me a quote after asking a few questions about the size, location and if I wanted cloth blinds cleaned. Following the info I was given a very reasonable quote and the company scheduled me all online.
A few days prior to the selected date I got a txt from the company confirming the date.
The day of the cleaning I got a txt explaining when they would be there. I left the door unlocked as I had moved out and there was nothing in the apartment. They came in and sent me a txt letting me know they were there. I started to get txt messages of the rooms as they were completed in cleaning.
I stopped by halfway through to drop the payment check off. Very polite, great conversation and they did a really great job. I highly recommend!

From first contact, Alan was extraordinarily helpful. I needed carpets cleaned prior to moving out of my apartment, and he was willing to schedule the perfect time between when I had my belongings out, and when I needed to turn in the keys. Worth mentioning, Express Carpet Cleaners is one of the few companies in the Fargo/Moorhead area with a portable cleaning unit. I lived on the 4th floor of my building, so nobody's hoses would reach from the van to my unit. Enter Alan an his portable unit! To top it all off, he provided me with frequent status updates and pictures of what he was doing, and when he was complete. If you need your carpets cleaned, Express Carpet Cleaners cannot be beat!

Excellent! I run a daycare, have two big dogs, two cats and a house full of kids, so my carpets are gross ! Corey did an amazing job. Super friendly, went above and beyond to make me happy. I've lived in this house for years and get the carpets cleaned twice a year. I had never called Kleen-Way, today was my first time and they are the only place I will ever call again. They did two rooms and two sets of stairs . Dried in about two hours with my own fans going and windows open. The carpet doesn't feel stiff and thank goodness they did not use deodorizer !!! Some places do without asking and I think it stinks. I highly recommend Kleen-Way. On time, professional, friendly and very reasonable price.

Decent communication however from set-up to driving out of parking lot they took only 20 minutes for my 1 bedroom place. Other than the deodorant carpet smell, it was hard to tell the carpet had even been cleaned. There were no "rake" lines either.

Corey is great to work with. We hired him to clean our 2 bedroom apartment before move out He is very on top of communication. He called to confirm the date, called to remind me he was coming the next day, called to confirm the morning of. He said he'd be a little late but was very communicative and apologetic about it. Managed to get scheduled for the next day even though it was a non-emergency. They even arrived early (after calling first). Did an excellent job on a carpet that was in dire need of cleaning in short order & with the help of a couple of fans things were pretty much completely dry within a matter of a couple of hours. I had an appointment today 6/2/2022 with a deep cleaning apartment move out cleaning starting at 2:30-3pm at the 5357 27th st s Fargo 58104 property in my studio apartment. I had added a lot of extra services to my transaction which raised the price of the service $490. I called them before the cleaning to make sure that cleaning the blinds and cleaning the drawers and inside of the cabinets to be included, person on the phone said yes. When the cleaning team arrived, I asked them if they know what was to be expected, they said yes. I should not have trusted them. After they were done, they just left, they didn't walked through with me to make sure everything that needed to be done was done. They just rushed to go home. There were at least 6 people in the team and they did not finish the job of cleaning my small studio apartment even though they were in my apartment for at 2.5 hours. The blinds were not cleaned at all and the drawers and inside of the cabinets were not cleaned at all. I should have never hired them to clean my apartment. They are a waste of money and dealing with them was a waste of time. Please avoid them at all costs and take your business elsewhere. I am in a tight spot now since I would be moving in 4 days and I need them to finish the job. I want my apartment to be fully cleaned so that I would get my deposit back. Merry maids failed me so much. They don't deserve my money at all.

THey skip over all areas if someone isnt watching. We had entire rooms being skipped from vacuuming and dusting, caught on our cameras. After 5 cleanings and having issues at 3 of them, they sent a letter saying they werent providing services anymore. Basically they are just looking for customers who are going to pay to have bedrooms vacuumed and dusted but then never say anything when the cleaning person just skips those over.
THeir supposed deep cleaning procedures are nothing really. We had four rooms deep cleaned during our time and no lights were taken down, windows cleaned, high reach places gotten to, vents wiped down, etc. I could walk into those rooms immediately after and see noone wiped the vent, dusted a high place, etc. Yet they charge you extra for those dep cleans when nothing is legitimately done.

CAUTION – NEW MANAGER – NO QUALITY CONTROL
I was a loyal customer of 5 years with Merry Maids for routine residential biweekly service. They went through some recent staffing changes, including a new manager. I called the local manager, Monica to notify her of some quality issues, I was finding slime in my master bath tile . She was so unprofessional and rude, and basically told me she has no time for this, she has many new customers to take care of.
I asked for a quality check person to assess the clean, she refused and said "were too busy for that, we're understaffed." I then called her manager, Dawn, who runs the Grand forks and Fargo franchise. She unfortunately was bias to a one sided story told by Monica and was also unwilling to take the complaint seriously and have someone perform a quality check. Instead, she told me they had many good reviews lately and when I asked if the reviews were for the same person who cleaned my house, she hesitated and said no.
I ended up deciding I could no longer hire a company who does not respond to a loyal regular customer of 5 years. Who not only blatantly ignored my concers but also made me feel bad for burdening them with customer feedback. I have been a customer longer than some of these managers have been working for the company. It's a shame how poor management forces customers right out the door.
The "service" was so poor the last few months that it left SLIME and mold in my MASTER BATHROOM and kitchen sink. It is an unhealthy environment for children and certainly NOT worth paying a lot of money for.
As I stood there in the office, they had one compaint after another, all handled by Monica whose repetitive theme was the customer is always WRONG. Under this new management, I would never recommend Merry Maids of Fargo.

Let me be clear, my house was impeccably clean after Supreme Cleaning came. The only reason why this isn't a five star rating is that they missed their initial appointment time, and nobody was available to answer the phone for the first 45 minutes of the day when I was trying to figure out where they were and how to reschedule.
When we got in contact, she was very kind and rescheduled the same day, but then instead of two cleaners for two hours, I had one cleaner for four hours. Once again, no issue, but it wasn't communicated to me, so it was just a little bit confusing.
My sense is that this is either a younger company or a company where they don't have a huge office staff supporting the cleaners. As someone who ultimately just wants a clean house, I can easily live with that!
