Scheduling was so easy and everyone I spoke to was so helpful. I needed flexibility with arrival window and the scheduling team was so gracious with their help. They provided me regular updates and specified exactly what would be included, with a reasonable and accurate estimate.

They did an incredibly thorough job cleaning and performing the tasks that I was told would be included, and the apartment was literally speckless. I retained Spekless to do biweekly cleanings of my 3 bedroom home. I pay extra for them to clean the basement and perform extra "pet cleaning" due to our dogs. I've worked with them for 8 months now and here's the good and bad (some very bad):
The Good: The crews that arrive are pleasant and when they clean an area of our home, they do an okay job. Not a particularly great job but better than other services I've used.
– We've Been Ripped Off: Spekless charges us $195 per cleaning based on, among other things, the fact that our house is a 3-bedroom. Two of the three bedrooms were minimally used for several months while Spekless was coming every other week. During that time, I noticed that NOTHING in those rooms moved. Scraps of paper that were on the floor one week were still there after Spekless had been to the house to clean several times. The wripples in a throw blanket along the bottom of one of the beds remained exactly the same. A pillow that toppled over on another bed remained toppled over. A light stool that was in the middle of a carpet and would have to be moved to vacuum the carpet was in the exact same position week-to-week — it had not shifted at all. So, before Spekless' next visit, I decided to test a theory that, despite charging us to clean 3 bedrooms, Spekless was only cleaning 1 of them (our master bedroom). We left dirt tracked onto one of the beds by the dog where he left it and specks of paper on the carpets, and took pictures to confirm the exact positioning of this dirt and debris before the Spekless crew arrived. Sure enough, after the Spekless team came, cleaned, and left — the dirt and paper were still on the bed and carpet, in the exactly some positions without having shifted in the slightest. The other things that we noticed had not moved for months still had not moved and a rug was dusty to the touch right after Spekless had supposedly cleaned. Spekless was definitely charging us to clean 3 bedrooms but were only actually cleaning 1. After submitting all of this information to Spekless, they gave us a partial refund for one of the service visits, but not for the MONTHS that this had been going on.
– They (Hopefully) Broke Our Security Sensors & Said Nothing: After one Spekless visit, our security company contacted us to say that the security sensors on one of our windows had been disabled. Sure enough, we found that they had been removed and left on the window sill tucked behind our blinds. At worst, the security system was deliberately disabled for a large window that could easily be entered from one of our patios. At best, the Spekless team broke the sensors and did not tell us. Spekless apologized when we brought this issue to its attention, but continued to send the same team to our house despite multiple requests that they not return.
– Strange Use of Our Stuff: Spekless advertises that its crews use their own products, but we've definitely found that they've used both our cleaning and paper products to clean the house. One time, we found that our large bottle of Dawn dish soap that had about an inch of concentrated soap left in the bottom of it had been filled up with water. We asked Spekless about it and they said that the crew knocked the bottle over. We asked what that had to do with anything — it was a squeeze bottle of concentrated liquid. It's not like anything would have poured out of it if the bottle had been knocked over. But, even if it did (it didn't) — the crew's response was to fill it up with water to try to make it seem like it didn't happen? Because what, we wouldn't notice the difference between 1" of concentrated dish soap and 6" of sudsy water? We were just trying to figure out what happened and were rewarded with dishonest nonsense.
– Scheduling: Most cleaning companies will give you a 2-hour arrival window. We've not been able to get one less than 4 hours from Spekless. So, if you're like us and need to be home when the cleaning crew arrives and does their work, it pretty much takes up your WHOLE day. We were informed while I was typing this that after waiting almost 4 hours for the Spekless team to arrive today, they would not be able to arrive and start cleaning for another 40 minutes (and even that was not guaranteed). We told Spekless to cancel the appointment at no charge to us since the team missed the 4-hour arrival window and we simply have to get on with the other things we need to get done today. A 4-hour arrival window is ample time for Spekless (any service provider, frankly) to figure out a way to get a crew to our house for a scheduled service.
We've also asked Spekless to cancel our future appointments. Maybe we'll try them again if we cannot find anything better out there. We'll see. Right now, we're just too frustrated to think about them coming back to our home.

We hired Spekless to do an apartment move-out cleaning, and their team did an excellent job! Every nook and cranny was scrubbed clean, and they took pictures of any stubborn spots they couldn't get out for us. Those spots were indeed stubborn, we agreed. Spekless wants to put round pegs into square holes. If you live in a multi-bedroom house that does not need a full cleaning every two weeks, say, what to do? I'm in a house that actually has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. I ordered cleaning for a 1-bedroom unit, and focused the team on the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area (one additional room, tops) that needed it at the time. Every cleaning, I got pushback from the team, on the mistaken impression that I was asking for more cleaning than was covered in the work order. I had pretty much resolved to stop using them, or at least this particular team of two, as the quality of cleaning was below a competitor's that I had used, and this team spent a grand total of 45 minutes on its last cleaning (so, 1.5 person-hours for $120, roughly, or $80 per person-hour). But when I got a long text message from Spekless suggesting that I should move to an hourly rate service, which requires an order for a minimum of two cleaners for 2 hours for a total of $220, that made cancelation a no-brainer.

The place was falling behind with cleanliness as I was planning our wedding and got super busy. Decided we finally needed to hire cleaners to help. Found fantastic reviews on this place through Yelp of course and google. Booking was super easy and pricing is pretty transparent. Our first cleaning I was very excited for, and booked a deep cleaning. The first team we had – arrived later than they had said. That's okay. They got to cleaning and took maybe less than two hours for our 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. They did ask if everything looked okay before they left, and during the cleaning I did catch that the baseboards were not cleaned (this is part of the deep cleaning). She had explained that they do dust it but don't wipe – not sure if that's normal as I don't normally get cleaning done so that's fine I said ok. After they left, I did further inspection more closely and come to find that my dishes were taken out of the sink and not fully put back in, weren't washed (it was like a few utensils and maybe a bowl?). They did not wipe the countertop well at all, many crumbs left and they didn't move my small appliances around to catch it, the stove top was still very dirty, the cabinets were not wiped, corners were not vacuumed well, let's say I was highly disappointed for how much we paid. I reached out to Spekless to inform them of everything that was missed – sent pictures and explained what happened. They did refund the deep cleaning extra charge and I decided to give them another chance and requested a different team.
My new team Walkiria is just Superb!!! They are SO thorough and clean SO well! They arrive on time and reorganize a lot of my stuff that I wouldn't know how to organize. I'm very happy I gave them another chance – the only con is that the pricing is definitely on the higher side when I ask my friends what they pay for theirs.

Spekless got me on the calendar when there was no slots available after reaching out over the phone. The cleaning was top notch. I had a basement studio cleaned in an old home and they made it feel so fresh. In just under 3 hours they made my drive from the 1920s look new, they polished the shower where lots of soap scum had built up and they got the floors to a place that are manageable for upkeep. Great customer service, however, after a year of working with them, I was told that they can no longer provide me services. That comes after I had continued supporting them through out the pandemic without receiving services. I was told they were "downsizing", and each time I'd ask for one of their "capable" teams I was told that they were no longer with the company or not available. It is disappointing when businesses fail loyal customers. After a year of working with them and post pandemic they started sending me teams that were doing more harm than cleaning and as some of the reviews state, they were not equipped the way you would think a cleaning team would be during a pandemic as the vacuum and rags some teams were bringing were old and made me feel uncomfortable. Sorry to say it but I feel very let down.

Maids in Brown did a move-out cleaning on our townhouse at the end of the lease period. They did a great job, cleaning top to bottom and bringing it to a great state. Even cleaned the fridge and oven so that they look almost like new.
The team had scheduling issues finding the hours necessary to get the job done, but they communicated very well and took the time to do the job right.
I would definitely use them again.

Echoing other reviews that there is a total lack of transparency on the pricing – particularly that the $124 "standard cleaning" is strictly for one hour only and that they will charge extra for "needing extra time." This was not communicated beforehand, and as such, they ended up skipping most of the necessary cleaning I needed (like bathroom floors, dusting, etc)…
$124 for one-hour is an extremely high price for an OK quality job. I will unfortunately not be using this service again.

I've decided to try this cleaning service relying on google reviews and their website description. Not only did the personnel come 40 minutes earlier than we scheduled, but it has also not provided regular services listed on their website. Honestly, I don't know why there are so many positive reviews when clearly my case was a bad one (1 bdr. apt, 750 sq.f.). Here are the services which were not provided:
1. floors in the living room, kitchen, and bathroom were not moped, moreover I had to do extra vacuum cleaning in the kitchen
2. outside of cabinets in the kitchen were not cleaned
3. not all vents are cleaned (living room and bathroom)
4. toilet was not cleaned outside
5. bedroom was not cleaned.
I have also included cleaning the refrigerator and it appeared that the time cleaning for the refrigerator is included in the regular clean time.

My frustration came from the coordination & transparency in pricing. My original appointment was 3pm and I received a call at 3pm the day of asking if they could come another day. I understand things happen, but after receiving 3-4 confirmation emails I was a little bothered. When they came my rescheduled day, the Team was actively cleaning my apartment and I received a call that I'd be charged an extra $25 because the Team needed longer to clean (15 min). No where on their website did they make clear that the price wasn't fixed, or that it was based on time. When I asked they said it was because it was the first time at my apartment so they didn't know how much time to expect. If that's their policy, I understand but the communication needs to be a lot more thorough & clear.

I have been hesitant to hire a cleaning company for years. But with the pandemic, working full time, and having to clean up after a toddler – I couldn't take it anymore.
Maid Bright was the only one that I found that did not require a contract, and did not do any high pressure sales tactic. I feel like I'm in control: if I need an additional cleaning – no problem – I just send them an email. If I need to scale back – no problem – I can give them a quick cancel. I also like that they use e-verify, and they offer their cleaning staff PTO.
They also followed up with me after my first cleaning service to make sure I was happy.

Overall a decent job, I question if they actually mopped all the hardwood floors, or if they just said they did, because they were dry. Also the tubs were not as clean as I'd like them to be. We never really needed a maid service before but when we did we weren't sure who to go with. Maid Bright was recommended to us and they were definitely the right choice.
For our initial cleaning, 2 very nice ladies came, put on "booties" and masks, and went to work. They brought their own supplies, and they worked non-stop for 2 and a half hours. They cleaned our three floor house top to bottom. The bathrooms sparkled, the floors were dust free, and even the furniture was vacuumed!
Overall they provided fantastic service and we have just decided to have them come back every other week. We like the flexibility that they give us in scheduling and not having a contract which does make things much easier.

Good service. I have been using them about 4 months. They are pretty consistent. I have had a couple last minute cancellations but recently they've been more reliable. I would recommend their service. I have a 3 level town home with 3.5 baths, 2 bedrooms, and a basement living area. I pay 224.00 per month. They have a sliding charge scale depending on how frequently you have them come. Monthly is good for me. I have 2 cats that are messy and hairy. I have used a service prior to this for many months and thought my house was clean. I was wrong. I looked around since my last company increased prices for a company to compare work with. Not only did they respond very quickly to my message, they were able to fit me in in the same week. I am completely impressed at how clean my house is and how great it smells. They cleaned the doors, baseboards, small glass arrangements and windows (never has my prior company done this) along with everything else you could imagine. Maid Day is an absolutely wonderful cleaning business. I used them for over a year for bi-weekly cleaning, as well as a move-out clean. I desperately wish I was still in their service area!
Scheduling appointments was easy, and Paola always let me know when the team was coming. In over a year of service, the team was never late. Even the standard clean involved them cleaning every nook and cranny. My kitchen was always gleaming, and I was impressed with their ability to get all the dust on shelves and around nicknacks. They routinely left nice touches like rosettes and folded shapes in the toilet paper and towels, and the products they used always left a nice, light scent.
The teams worked hard and quickly, and always listened when I had a special instruction. Once, my cat was not going in the carrier, and they helped me find him (with a bit of a laugh). They never broke anything and I never had anything go missing, so there is no doubt about their care and trustworthiness.
When I moved out, I hired them for a whole house clean; a small army of cleaners showed up, and had my 3 level townhouse absolutely spotless in an hour. They cleaned top to bottom; even the grime in the window tracks and under the pan thingie under the oven was gone. During the final walkthrough, the buyer's agent asked if I had gotten the stove replaced, it was so clean that it looked brand new.
I wish they served my area, but I wish these hardworking ladies the very best!

I can't speak highly enough about Paola (Manager) & the team at Maid Day. I found their company here purely based upon the pure volume of consistently outstanding reviews. My initial interactions with Paola in setting up a first appt were a pleasure. She's super easy to work with, a good listener, knowledgeable about the business, professional, considerate and lastly, someone who takes great pride in customer satisfaction – quite rare in this day and age.
The employees my mom and I have worked with to date include Nancy, Teresa, Yoselin, and Mariana. They are all super friendly, extremely hard working, thorough, and do the job quickly and efficiently. My mom who is admittedly pretty discriminating had asked them to clean a fairly large & delicate vintage crystal chandelier during one of their first times cleaning after the initial deep cleaning, and she was floored by how beautifully it came out (and without a chip); the same results apply to several super tall floor to ceiling glass panels in her LR- just a couple of many examples of their overall work product & attention to detail.
Maid Day is quite reasonably priced especially considering their consistently superior results / obvious amount of effort put into each and every job (big or small), reliability (they've never had to cancel/reschedule and always arrive on time) and trustworthiness. Oh, they are also super pet friendly!! You won't regret giving them a chance to earn your business!

This review was extremely hard for me to write, as I was content with the resolution, but felt it was necessary to be honest with my experience, rather than just letting it go. I now question the authenticity of these 5 star reviews based on the cleaning I received. Maybe my expectations of cleaning are a lot higher than others? What I do know is that the service I received was simply unacceptable and disappointing.
The Good: I contacted Maid Day for a move-in/deep cleaning of my empty home we just purchased. We're a military family coming from Las Vegas, relocating to NOVA after having the same bi-weekly housekeeper for 5 years: I know what should and shouldn't be considered "deep cleaning". Paola scheduled my cleaning with ease and was a pleasure to work with. Since our furniture had not yet arrived, they were tasked with cleaning an empty home; no furniture, no pets, I didn't even happen to stay during the cleaning. It was their space and time to get my house particularly spotless. Paola and her team arrived on time, ready to go.
The Bad: There was an up charge for including the refrigerator and oven being cleaned..?! To me, this seemed odd. In a normal cleaning, this is totally understandable, however in a deep, move-in clean this is typically included, as are inside the cabinets and major crevices normally overlooked in a regular cleaning. For what I was receiving, I felt the price was high, but again, that might just be the cost of living here vs. Nevada. Coming into a similar sized home, I wasn't expecting, yet agreed to the up charge in price.
The Ugly: The minute I walked into my home after the cleaning, I was not impressed. I couldn't smell the freshness of a cleaned home. I'm aware they don't clean with harsh chemicals and their products are eco-friendly. I wasn't looking for the smell of bleach, but I also wasn't expecting the smell of nothingness either. Further investigation was what truly set me over the edge. Their was dirt everywhere! On my banisters, dust still left on the bathroom counters and inside the sinks, the bathtubs were still showing stains, streaks on the windows leftover with whatever residue they used. Now considering this house was just recently on the market, it was visibly in good condition, but nothing I would feel comfortable with bringing my family into until it was clean and sanitized, especially during Covid.
The Horrible: The kitchen almost brought me to tears. I'm 9 months pregnant, and hormones may have been the factor behind the emotions, but I was disappointed and angry. I went into my "up-charged" refrigerator and was in disbelief; streaks of dirt left, shelves weren't moved to deep clean, and I found a strands of hair just hanging out like I owed it rent. Underneath the refrigerator was nothing but dirt, grime and dust (see pictures).
I wasn't comfortable putting anything away, so I tested out one of the cabinets to see if they were really cleaned. I took a Clorox wipe and wiped in one of the cabinets and nothing but dirt and grime was caught on the wipe. Clearly evident that they just never bothered to clean inside my cabinets. But I paid for a "Deep clean" right?
I'm not sure if they cut corners because I wasn't there or if this is their standard of cleaning, but for what I paid for, this was unacceptable. The next day I immediately called Paola and expressed my dissatisfaction who offered to come back out and re-clean. You want to re-clean my empty house you couldn't get right the first time? No thanks. A refund was more than reasonable which she did not hesitate to provide. I think she was embarrassed as the "owner" I'm presuming because I don't really know her title with the company.
All in all, I was refunded for the awful job and had to hire another cleaning company to come out and re-clean my home. Like I said, I'm content with the resolution, but I leave this review as a warning. In all fairness, I don't believe Paola remained on site during my cleaning, and for two stars, I give her the benefit of the doubt that she really was not aware of the job her team did. However, I have to go off of evidence and not assumptions. I do not believe the reviews reflect the cleaning you will actually receive. If you are going to use this company, I highly suggest you watch them and make sure they're doing and providing you the service you've paid for.

I was really looking forward to having my home professional cleaned. This company was very disappointing. They charged 350 for 2100sq ft, which I felt was a fair price. Prior to booking them I asked if oven and refrigerator cleaning was included. I was told yes. I also asked if base boards were included and was told yes. None of these were done. I reached out to the company via email after they were finished to get clarification on what was included in a deep clean and no one ever reached out. I would not recommend and will not use them again.

I contacted several highly rated cleaners on Yelp. Maid Day was one of the most responsive to my request for cleaning my 90 year old father's house. The house was absolutely filthy, beyond belief so I requested a deep clean.
They crew came out Saturday at the designated time, with masks and all their gear.

It was easy to make an appointment for the service. Two ladies showed up on time. They were here for about two hours to clean the kitchen and a bathroom only. It wasn't clean enough. I couldn't tell the different before and after cleaning. They mopped the floor but I still saw hair in the bathtub and food on the rug in the dinning area. They didn't scrub the bathtub at all. We did a "move in" deep clean of the house, including a deep clean of the oven. The previous owner of the home hired a "professional cleaner" but all they seemed to do was wipe the counter tops. Cobwebs were everywhere, the dishwasher, cabinet interiors, and all other viewable surfaces had a film of dust, if not more grime. As my first time hiring a professional cleaner to get the home in a moveable state, I researched and spoke with many companies to make sure I avoided underperforming "professionals" like the above and the horror stories from other reviewers with other companies. Paola, the owner, and her team were fantastic! Maid Day quickly stood out with the quick response time to questions and customer service before I even booked the cleaning. Two main factors that sold me:
(1) The house is very big and technically outside of Maid Day's servicing area, but Paola made our house an exception and blocked off the entire day for it due to its size and scope of cleaning needed. My experience felt customized whereas with other companies I felt like I was going through a template process that didn't take into account the specifics needed for the home.
(2) We are sensitive to strong chemicals and have pet allergies, so I appreciated them using non-toxic cleaning ingredients and having personal experience with cleaning pet hair and dander.
I even spoke with a couple of Maid Day's references, and they said nothing but genuinely positive reviews about their experiences with their regular cleaning routines.
On the day of cleaning, everyone wore masks and kept on shoe covers the entire time while cleaning. Maid Day did a thorough job including base boards, above the door frames, window cracks, mirror frames, all with natural ingredients. The previous owner of the home left stained streaks on the vent hood and fridge, and at the end of the cleaning those streaks were gone and the kitchen looked brand new. I was curious as how Maid Day used natural cleaners to clean the oven, and Paola eagerly showed me her formula and process so that I could use the same methods on my own. On top of that, I am still in contact with Paola to this day as she shares new cleaning formulas for different parts of the home.
I highly recommend Maid Day, as their down-to-earth personality and passion for cleaning is unmatched, and the continued education is more than what I could've asked for with any other cleaning service. If you need a big cleaning project or even a routine cleaning service done, go with Maid Day!

We hired Maid Day for a move out clean of our rented house in Springfield after taking estimates from several local cleaning companies. They laid out the price and detailed list of what services they would provide, and were extremely responsive to all our questions. When they arrived, it was clear they were adhering to all COVID protocols. After I walked them through the house, I asked them to add on a service that wasn't normally included and they agreed to do so for a small cost increase. They alerted me when they were nearing completion so I could have our landlord stop by to inspect, as they offer a satisfaction guarantee. They are always flexible if I need to change the day or time. They use organic cleaning solutions and always do a great job. The house always smells great and is so clean afterwards! We had an excellent experience with George. Our carpets are in excellent condition but there were two high traffic areas: one near the couch and one in the office. The office had the additional challenge of soot from years of candle burning (don't do that folks) that became obvious when we moved the furniture. Nothing major but visible darkening in a few spots that look like light shadows. Anyway, George did an excellent job covering those areas. The wear and tear near the carpet is more than discoloration so there will still be some visible difference if you look closely Bc of the carpet itself. But the spot area looked pretty darned good! He can't get carpet to fluff back up where you've had furniture for 15 years but that's not what he does so just be aware. Also for first timers– he has a 10% off coupon (I didn't see it until answering questions before starting this review). Prices: George was very reasonable. There were other companies that say they do a Covid- type level cleaning but they charge twice as much. Some gave lower estimates but then charge 2-3.50 PER STAIR which adds up quickly. We had approx 1000 ft or so of carpeted area (3 br, a very small hallway, a living room and 2 stair cases) in a 1500 sq ft townhouse. I was pleased with the price and the result. Scheduling: George was very accommodating and he updated us when running a little LTR well before he was scheduled to arrive. At least an hour's notice. He was still reasonably on time. I would hire again!

I've been using MZK Cleaning Service for almost 5 years now and I can't say enough wonderful things about them! I've referred them to family and friends and they have also been thrilled with MZK's professionalism, unmatched work ethic and thoroughness. They always arrive on time and do an amazing job. I've never, not once in the 5 years (they come every 2 weeks), not been completely impressed with the finished result. Kelvin (owner/manager) is super flexible if I need to change the day/time if something last minute comes up in my life which would require a change to our regular schedule. They go above and beyond with each cleaning. For instance, I have 3 kids (ages 5 and under), and sometimes we don't have time to tidy up the toys in the the kids' playroom in advance of their arrival (a large finished basement), but when I return home after they've cleaned, they've not only thoroughly cleaned the basement, but they've also put the toys away in the correct places (not just shoved to the perimeter of the room to make way for the vacuum). I can't properly express the amount of stress they alleviate from my otherwise very hectic life. It's not often you're able to find a service like MKZ that does a fabulous job but they're also completely trustworthy. It doesn't even cross my mind to need to put away valuables or anything like that which has been a concern with cleaning services I've used in the past. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough! Thank you Kelvin and team!!!! You've made this very busy and typically stressed out stay-at-home mom of 3 breath a major sigh of relieve knowing my house will look 'put together' every other Tuesday!
Also, as a bonus, they automatically charge your credit card following each cleaning so you don't have to remember to leave a check/cash. And, if you want a deeper cleaning on occasion (inside of refrigerator, oven cleaning, etc), you just need to let Kelvin know and work out a mutually agreeable extra charge and it'll be done. I also love being able to communicate so easily with him via text!

This month is our 2 year anniversary of receiving house cleaning services from the Purrfectly Kleen team! Despite the fact that adding our house (in Alexandria) to their rotation of clients mainly in Arlington had its logistical challenges, they have not let that interfere with providing timely service. They send dates of service for 1 year in advance and coordinate at the beginning of the week for the exact time of arrival. These reminders are perfect to help us deconflict with our busy family schedule (and to remind us to straighten up before their arrival!).
When it comes to the cleaning, their work is thorough and spotless. The first thing I see when I get home is the gleaming kitchen sink!! They do a wonderful job in the bathrooms, bedrooms, and with our floors. Any tricky area we ask about ahead of time (like a shower) is given extra attention at the next appointment.
We appreciate the services of the folks at Purrfectly Kleen for keeping our house clean and safe (and as a working parent allowing me to keep my sanity)! I highly recommend their services to any household in need!!!!

Totally on the fence right now about how I feel about them. We had them coming monthly at our last apartment, for a year or so, and they were fantastic. Then we moved into our current place and didn't need them anymore on a regular basis.
But this summer I wanted a "catch-up" cleaning, since I'd gotten so behind. It was actually pretty difficult to schedule something…they weren't very responsive to my emails. And then they came and did a great job, EXCEPT they actually broke the futon bed in the guest bedroom, and sort of tried to hide it with pillows! And they left a new stain in the living room floor where the kitchen trash leaked as they were taking it out. Both were no big deal, actually — we were able to fix the futon and get the stain out. But clearly the team didn't report these issues to the owners, or they did and the owners never followed up with us. Admittedly, we didn't alert the owners right away either.
Until now, when we are wanting to start monthly service again. Terrified by all the horrible reviews that every other maid company on yelp seems to get, we were willing to give PK another try. I emailed them a week ago saying we'd love to have them come back, and I gave them a heads up about the issues from last time, but that we're not even really mad, just wanted to let them know it had happened. Well it has been a week and we haven't received any response. So….I could email again, and beg them to come clean my place, but instead I'm going to try to find a different company.
Long story short, they were great for a long time, and I'd still be willing to give them another chance. But I feel like something has changed this year, that is making it harder for them to keep up?

Wow! The ladies of Purrfectly Kleen are amazing. First, they came to meet before the cleaning and gave me a competitive assessment. After meeting them I was "purrfectly" comfortable giving them a key to my home for a one time cleaning. They we sweet, funny, and friendly.

That was my attempt to find a flattering word for them that hadn't been used yet. Now I think I should patent it.
I've been dying for a cleaning service because although I'm a very tidy person (put away clothes, load the dishwasher, wipe down the counter), I am not a very scrubby person (scrub the toilets, mop and vacuum floors, windex all the mirrors, etc.). After living with my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years and doing all the cleaning on my own, he surprised me with Purrfectly Kleen once per month for my birthday, and I was ECSTATIC! He chose them based on their Yelp reviews and boy, am I glad he did!
He had no complaints about the initial meeting (I've never met them because like I said, it was a birthday surprise). The ladies were apparently very thorough and friendly and after 3 visits, I am more than satisfied. Yes, they are a little pricey (we pay $135 for a 2 bed/2 bath apartment) and you do have to pay the first service in cash, but I tell you, it is SO worth it. They don't miss a thing.
I also appreciate their management as far as scheduling appointments. They always email us about a week beforehand to let us know what day they will be coming, and then email again a day or two before to give us the exact window of time they will show up. This is super helpful for me because we live in a building with INCOMPETENT (caps on purpose) management so the more specific I can be with them, the better.
Perhaps the best part about their service is that because it is so thorough, I don't have to do a lot of extra cleaning between appointments. I still pick up and wash and vacuum some things, but my days of heavy weekend apartment cleaning labor are over, and it is GLORIOUS.

I can't believe I hadn't left a review until now!
I first became a customer of CTC cleaning back in 2012 I think. I had to stop services when I had a break in employment but always continued to recommend them to friends. I've started back up with their service this past year and they continue to be great.
It varies based on needs and scheduling but I have a team of three women come once a month. They do the foyer, kitchen, half bath, living room, dining room, office/cat room, and two flights of stairs. It takes them only about 50 minutes which is perfect considering I work from home.
What I love is that they use green (chemical-free) cleaning methods. I don't have to worry about chemicals being around my pets or staining my wood furniture.
As far as price I did call around to a few places to compare and found prices to be about the same as other bigger businesses.

This is the fourth time I've ever hired a cleaning service and it was never worth the money, because I knew I could do so much better myself. Not this time!! After reading the reviews, I took a chance on this company and so glad I did! Finally, a company that has great attention to detail and literally does not cut corners, as their logo and reviews state. They even got my hard to reach baseboards! The service also includes changing the sheets, which I didn't realize or I wouldn't have changed them a few days ago, so I told them it was not necessary. They did make the bed for me though and vacuumed the dog hair off the comforter!
For the animal lovers…They were super friendly with my dog and even vacuumed the couch! Being a dog owner of a lab, who sheds a ton, I love that they took the time to vacuum the couch too! Goodbye dog hair! Love, love, love!

I just had my initial cleaning this morning and they did a great job. I have a one bedroom apartment with a cat. Lizeth let me know they would be sending 4 cleaners for my first cleaning and 3 cleaners for my normal biweekly cleanings. They cleaned everything very well to the point where the faucets weren't just clean, they were gleaming. They even organized a bit (folded clothes I had laying in a chair in the bedroom), which not all services do. Their price for an initial cleaning was $155 and $85 for my normal biweekly cleanings.
The Bad (minor)
I only have two small gripes that kept me from giving 5 stars. But overall, I'm happy with them and look forward to using them biweekly.
1. They were a little late to the appointment, which wasn't a big deal and they still gave me a full hour of cleaning. The first two cleaners showed up at 8 minutes after the cleaning was scheduled. The next two showed up nearer to the middle of the cleaning. It would've been nice to get a call or a text, but wasn't totally necessary since they were only a little under 10 minutes late. I understand how traffic, a messy previous appointment, etc can cause them to run late. I was worried that the cleaning might not be thorough since the last 2 cleaner didn't get their until halfway through but as I said they cleaned really well.
2. This one might not even be their fault. I asked them to hand wash some expensive knives in the sink, but they ended up in the dishwasher (and I caught it at the beginning of the cycle). The problem is that I told them in Spanish since they seemed more comfortable in that language and I speak it decently as a second language. So it's entirely possible that I wasn't clear.

I only gave one star because 0 stars is not an option! I really wonder if all these 5 star reviews are real or if this company pays people to write them. The owner and her mom seem okay, but the people they send to clean your place are horrible! You leave them detailed instructions about what you want done and what you don't want done, but that means absolutely nothing to them, they just do what they please and how they please to do it. We are firing them!!!
