Updating to 4 stars from 3: Katie, one of the owners of HappyCleans personally called me to address the issues I listed in this review. She kindly offered a $70 refund, and a $50 credit to use towards another cleaning. I appreciate the customer service of HappyCleans!
The website is user friendly and it's very easy to get a preliminary quote on the HappyCleans website. Communication was excellent with the HappyCleans management team texting me the whole time the cleaning team was at my home. I purchased the deep cleaning service which came out to be $845 for 4 br/4 ba or ~2500 sq ft. The 2 ladies who came to clean were very friendly and they spent around 7.5 hours on my house which I greatly appreciated. My only complaint about them personally is that they would take frequent smoke breaks, and every time they came back into the house to continue cleaning, they brought the smoke smell back in with them too.
The bathrooms were left spotless, and the carpet shampooing looked/smelled wonderful. The dusting could've been better. It was a combination of missing some spots and also the rags/dusters they were using were leaving fuzzies everywhere. The wood floors had streaks leftover in every room. They also accidentally broke one of my glass candle holders, but luckily it wasn't anything sentimental. They were very vigorous in cleaning the wood blinds which made me nervous since those are delicate. They did not clean each blind individually by hand and instead just used a mop to go side to side "sweeping" the blinds. I was refunded $30 for these mishaps.
I was a little confused by some of the pricing like $5/blind – I have 20 windows with blinds that vary in size but I guess the price is regardless of size. Shampooing was an extra $55/room (min. of 2 rooms) regardless of sq footage (some rooms are smaller than others). Light fixtures were also an extra cost which was not specified on the website and when I pointed out the dust/cobwebs, they said it would be an extra $5-$10 per fixture to clean them. Overall I feel they took their time to clean my home which was so appreciated, but the quality of cleaning was average.

This is my kitchen photos after a move out clean. Best believe they made sure to charge me the $415 dollars and plenty of money on their "extra services" and took the $80 tip but this is how they left the house. I've booked with this service before and maybe it's because I was home and not deployed when they were doing the service.
**follow up** they have since reached out and been amazingly professional. If I had more time I would have had them come and redo the area. The owners are wonderful and I wasn't on site to approve or deny or have the cleaners fix things. I've already moved and turned over keys. This company has horrible customer service. They came and cleaned 3 times. The first two seemed fine but today I was told they would not service my address anymore because of it being a biohazard. When I asked how I was told pets. I have cats. I asked about them and was told they were a biohazard. I asked how and the manager obviously made it up. She said I asked for too much cleaning and it was also noted last time. I asked how come I hadn't received a call or anything if there was a complaint and they said that isn't how it worked. Additionally, I was told I would never be served again. I found out the cleaning person said she was going to get her supplies and come back but never returned. Then I received this phone call. When I tried to call back to explain how this happened and it was unprofessional they didn't answer the phone. Now my phone number is blocked. How is any of this good business? I work hard and pay for a housekeeper but feel this company doesn't want to have to do real house keeping but still get paid. I would not recommend.

I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Home Maid Better. The initial call was easy, all my questions patiently answered and everything explained thoroughly.
The two-person crew arrived promptly on time with all of their cleaning tools and products at their disposal. I showed them around and they got right to work and deep cleaned my entire house without any kind of break. My only difficulty was trying to be helpful yet still keep out of their way.
Andrea and Yaneli's conscientiousness and attention to detail was kind of amazing; I caught them cleaning places I hadn't even thought of! Friendly, professional, hard-working and fast, these ladies were awesome and I would not hesitate to have them back over any time.

My mom had family coming last minute and needed her house cleaned pronto! They came in less than 24 hours notice, were upfront with their cost, and did not try and pressure me into anything. They truly know customer service. I would have given it 5 stars, but the crew never made it to the dining room or the living room, and barely touched the kitchen. If I could make one suggestion it would be to start the main rooms first. In this case they started in the bedrooms, then bathrooms, then went down the stairs and hall leading up to the main common areas before running out of time. They did contact me to let me know they needed more time, but I declined to pay for extra since the price was already outside my budget to begin with. I expected all areas to at least be touched, and if I had known, I would have asked that they start in the important rooms first. Ultimately, I had to finish the job myself (I can close up a bedroom but everyone gathers in the living room), however my mom is thrilled with her clean shower and that's all that matters. I've never hired a cleaning company before and I would use this company again. But, next time I will be there to manage their time better.

Since we're doing a lot of renovations, I didn't worry too much about the fact that the previous owners did not clean it well. But as I started to think about staying at that house for a week, I realized I really needed a professional cleaner.
We called and talked to Emi to see if she could help us, despite being very short notice and on a holiday weekend. She assured me her staff wanted to work and would be happy for the extra hours. On the front end, was helpful, friendly, communicative. The work was professionally perfect. They did everything they could do to get the house ready for our first few nights there. I will feel a lot better knowing this house, which has sat empty for months, has had a real clean before we bring our babies for their first night in their new house.
