Tim was here today and did a fantastic job of pretreating and bringing new life to a few areas that had been stained for quite a while and super cleaned all of the traffic areas and stairway. I would use this company again, their truck mounted equipment has the power to extract the majority of the cleaning solution so drying time is reduced to a minimum and Tim is very personable and an efficient technician.

Tim did an awesome Job. I thought I was going to have to replace my carpets. There were nasty stains from food & drink spills, make-up, pet accidents that I thought would never come out. She made me work several hours and then didn't pay me for them even though I worked. She said they don't have to pay you if you quit. The maids also take many shortcuts. Don't waste your money

If you are looking for a cleaning service that was fairly priced, reliable, thorough, and customer service oriented – LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. I was so incredibly disappointed with the experience dealing with Merry Maids. Not the folks cleaning, the mean old woman who answers the phone. I was given a quote that assured an arrival time. They were never on time. when i would call dispatch i never got an apology, or an explanation – they ALWAYS blamed the staff. Even if it is an issue with an employee – as a consumer i expect the owner of the business to take my complaint, acknowledge it, apologize for it and find a way to make it right. Not too much to ask, right? Apparently it is for Merry Maids, and that is why I fired them before they could even show up for their 3rd visit. 3rd visit – 3rd time being late, 3rd time i got attitude from the management when i called. if you'd like me to come teach your staff how to speak to customers, and deescalate an angry customer, give me a call. You clearly need to be trained in making your customer experience your FIRST priority. It's not even on your radar.

Today was the third visit from the wonderful team of Bri and Ray at Maug Cleaning. Let's just start out with the fact that I'm not a tidy person. I called Maug Cleaning and made appointments twice for Donna to come over, look at my house, listen to what I wanted, and give me a quote. I ended up canceling both appointments because I was ashamed of the mess. Finally, I made and kept an appointment. Donna came over and put me completely at ease. She was completely non-judgmental, listened to me thoughtfully, and sent me a quote when she got back to her office.
The paperwork they sent was very professional and thorough. I've had cleaning people before, but Maug Cleaning was so on top of things that I felt immediately comfortable with them.
The first time Bri and Ray came, they set right to work and tackled my clutter and the dirt beneath it. It took longer than a normal visit because there was so much to do. Now that we're on a regular bi-weekly schedule, they breeze through in a little less than an hour. And they wash the floor on their hands and knees! I don't think my floor has ever been cleaned on hands and knees.
Maug Cleaning rocks. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Bottom line: avoid this company and their predatory business practices, threatening if you don't accept their prices. Says they will work with your budget and get rude if you say you can't afford it.
Had Donna from Maug come out – she is the nicest woman, very reassuring that we could cater my cleaning to my budget. She was super awesome to have in house, in fact I would be friends with her! Loved her.
Got my quote and it's $45 more than I can afford. I told her that, and the attitude I received back was that this is what it would cost and I wouldn't get a good clean unless I paid this. This is where I became uncomfortable. I was told they would find a way to stick to my budget, and now if I don't do what they say I won't get good service? I signed the proposal on the word that we could work with it and play with it while I waited to hear back from their scheduler.
Same time a financial emergency arose and cleaning is now entirely out of my budget. When the scheduler called, I explained the situation very kindly. She immediately jumps to "you still have to pay $70 for signing the proposal." No. That's unacceptable.
I have the paperwork provided and nowhere in it does it say that a $70 fee will be assessed if you get a quote, I do remember Donna mentioning the fee if we went through and scheduled and then cancelled. I only received the bid, and under pressure from the sales girl and promise of editing – signed it. Nowhere before I signed THE PROPOSAL (not an agreement of service) did they reiterate or emphasis that this was the point of no return or a fee would be assessed if an emergency arose and I was unable to have them clean.
THEY NEVER CLEANED. They provided an estimate. And now they say i owe $70. AVOID THEM! They say they care about their customers – they only care about money.

I have worked for this company and tbh I loved working there! It's very laid back! You are given buildings to clean, outline on how to do it, n then a time frame of when u can do it! This company does really really good work on all the properties they have!! My boss Amy was pretty amazing too! The owner Becky is pretty cool peoples too! even though I never got to meet her! She left really encouraging notes at some of my buildings which reallly makes a difference between I've seen how this company really cares about the building they clean! Maug has went from a no name company to the name everyone knows and goes to to get their businesses cleaned! The only negatives in my eyes is the lack of communication, follow through. & training from some supervisor/leads/etc! It's very hard to learn new things when your supervisor won't do what she's suppose to do! Everyone is heard n seen until they aren't! But that can come with any company! And by no means am I saying all people there lack this, because they don't! It was my person supervisor that moved me in a way that my disrespect level was touched too much and I decided to leave way earlier then the original plan! Maug is a great company if u want flexible hours, like cleaning, and the pay really isn't that bad! Oh and if u want a really good cardio workout! This is for real real the place for u to work at! It really helped me get over 20,000 extra steps a day! So yeah thanks maug for that! Cant wait to see this company explode in my area!
