Absolutely never ever use Glass Slipper for cleaning your house. I have never had a worse experience with any service. My husband and I bought a house and wanted to treat ourselves to a professional deep cleaning before moving in. We have had some recommendations from co-workers but unfortunately they were not able to fit us in their schedule in the week before the move-in. Since we wanted the place to be cleaned before our furniture is in, we went with Glass Slipper because they had an opening.
Our house is four bedrooms, all hard wood floors/tiles, no carpets. I called Danielle, and her first estimate for a deep clean with windows and walls was way beyond our price limit at above $800. I asked for a quote minus the walls and windows and it came to $400. While still being extremely high, we agreed to proceed to make sure that the house is clean for the move-in. The cleaners came on the day we were not in the house since that was a week when we were not living there yet. The money came out of PayPal before the cleaners got there and Danielle sent a confirmation when the cleaning was complete.
On the move-in day, we had the movers coming in and out and were not thinking to go through the whole house inspecting every corner. We simply trusted that since we paid for the professional deep cleaning and certainly paid the price for such, there was no need to do so. But we were wrong. The day after the move-in as we started unpacking the kitchen, we noticed that most of the cabinets were not even as much as opened to be cleaned. There was sticky food residue left-over from the previous owners in some cabinets, and thick layers of dust in others. At the same time, as we took a look at baseboards, there was dirt and cobwebs. As we were walking around the house, our socks got pitch black. It became evident that the floors were never cleaned. They may have been lightly vacuumed at most, but certainly never cleaned.
At this point we called Danielle and she suggested that she sends back her crew the following weekend for a couple of hours. As the days went by leading up to that Saturday when the cleaners were scheduled to come back my allergies started to get really bad. Then, we discovered that the couch, one of the very few pieces of the furniture in the house, was never moved to clean under. We kept on seeing more and more shortcomings of the service paid for.
On Saturday when the cleaning crew showed up, they asked which cabinets needed to be redone and which baseboards. I explained to them that the house was never deep-cleaned and that I expect that the cleaning is redone. The crew person then called Danielle and put her on the phone with me. Danielle started arguing with me, telling me that just because the house was not cleaned to my standard that doesn't mean that the crew will be doing a redo. She said that they will take care of the couple of cabinets and some baseboards. I told her about what I discovered behind the couch and that it was never moved to clean behind it. Danielle insisted that not only was behind the couch cleaned but she vowed that she was there to witness it and that her crew was on their hands and knees. I took pictures of what was left behind the couch after the deep clean. And also what was under one of the beds in the upstairs bedroom.
I am absolutely disappointed in the service and I believe we were taken advantage of. One thing to note, the house was empty (outside of one couch, one bedframe, and a dining room table). All hardwood floors and the previous owners left the place in a very decent sweep clean condition. It was not a difficult task to clean the place and for $400 I would expect not having to argue my way through with Danielle. The re-do cleaning was indeed a couple of hours and did not address most of the shortcomings of the service. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Not a happy customer. Discussed scope with owner, Danielle, on the phone before booking (2000 sf house, 3 Bed, 2.5 baths inhabited by 2 tidy adults.)
She didn't express any concern about her team being able to complete the work within the 8 hours purchased (I understood the 2 people, 4 hour deal), even though I emphasized there was a recent bath remodel resulting in a lot of construction dust. This was just a house cleaning, not a "spring cleaning or move out or anything crazy – it would take ME alone maybe 4 hours.
Bottom line, the two women who showed on time up did not finish the house in the 4 hours (they didn't dust or vac the formal living room or dining room, and did a spotty job in some other areas). I discussed it with the owner who said I could pay for more time – I said no, because they'd done a spotty job already. She wanted me to be satisfied, and offered to come by to correct their misses (not to finish the work they didn't get to), but apparently she couldn't find time within the next few days, as I haven't heard from her again.
Bottom line, these women worked 4 hours straight but I can't figure out on what! They absolutely spent too long on certain things like the bathrooms – 1 was brand new and cleaned 2 days before, the other is a small 42 sf bath with only a shower. 2 yrs old and pristine. I believe they spent an hour each on those alone, and still didn't get under the vanity to vac the hair/retrieve dropped q-tips. The bedrooms were basic dust/vac jobs – can't take more than 20 min each, even if there's more dust than normal. A swipe is a swipe, with a cloth or a vac. Even at that, there were a lot of misses (bases of floor lamps, heat registers, etc.).
Good job in the kitchen although not happy to hear they used lysol on the (sealed) granite, and needed my granite cleaner to do the after cleanup.
Just an overall unsatisfactory experience.

Avoid at all costs, unless you want a headache on your hands. I used glass slipper for over a year, mainly due to cost, but in the end their ability to cut corners and do work that goes from amazing to you wonder if anyone cleaned, but the money you left was gone so someone had to show up.
Danielle is impossible to deal with and has more excuses than anyone I've ever worked with. All I can say is, can they do an amazing job, yes, but not consistently and that's why in the end you will walk away.

I am currently 8 months pregnant and my husband thought it would be a nice gift to hire a cleaning company to come in and do a nice thorough cleaning of the house before the baby comes. Well… it was a nice gesture but it turned out to be a complete NIGHTMARE! Leaving us with more work to do!
Danielle (the owner) came in to do a free estimate for us. She estimated $490 for the entire apartment, of course informing us that pay is per hour and the estimate may change a bit (totally understandable). She informed us that it is $35 per hour with approximately 14 hours of work. She said she was "rounding high" but it probably won't take THAT long. She also said that she requires half of the estimate beforehand, so my husband just paid $300 cash.
She said that she would have her employees come in to start that day at 3pm and work until 5pm and do my daughters room, the bathroom, and then start the kitchen… and then she would have them come back the following day to finish the rest of the palce. We said that was perfectly fine. The employees showed up at around 3:15pm, started working in my daughters room, and then left at around 4:40pm. My husband and I had gone out to do some Christmas shopping, so our childcare provider/housesitter was home at the time keeping an eye on things. As we are out to dinner, we receive a text message from Danielle saying "after taking 4 hours alone just to clean your daughters room, the initial estimate will be a little more than double". My husband said that he just spoke with our housesitter and she confirmed that her employees were there for a little under 2 hours. Danielle then goes on to tell us that she charges $35 per hour PER EMPLOYEE! This information was NEVER disclosed during the initial estimate! We were simply told $35 per hour, about 14 hours of work. We told her that almost $1000 to clean was a bit out of our budget, so we won't be needing her services and would like our $160 refunded. THAT is when things got out of hand! She went on to tell us that we can't be refunded because we put down $300 (mind you, never once did she say the deposit was non-refundable)! We told her that we were mislead and that we absolutely can be refunded (for the remaining of the deposit we put down). She still refused and went on and on about how she does "quality, thorough work" and that her prices are "lower than any other cleaning company". We told her that regardless of her claims, we were mislead during our estimate and we don't want her services and would like a refund. Again, she argued with us, so my husband told her that he would check the room when we get home and if it is really $140 worth of cleanliness, then we may reconsider…
I had my housesitter text me pictures, and when I got them I immediately started crying! Sure the rug was vacuumed up nice… but they completely REARRANGED my daughters room!!! First of all… we live on the second floor of an old building… so the windows are EXTREMELY low to the ground. So I PURPOSELY had her dresser BLOCKING the window so that in the summer when the window is open, she wont fall out (obvious safety reasons! My daughter is only 2 and her 1 year old brother plays in there with her). Well… for some unknown reason they moved her dresser to the other side of the room and STACKED her toys and toybox in front of her window!! Not to mention, it's December and they left her window WIDE OPEN! Her room was FREEZING! Also, her television setup is on top of her dresser and we didn't want to drag cable across the room so we had it on that side for a reason! And they just moved it across the room, left everything unplugged (including my babymonitor) and left it in a huge tangled mess on top of the dresser. They never once asked me ANYTHING about rearranging my furniture, they just did it! Then I noticed that they left a dirty sponge on top of my daughters play kitchen!! I don't know what type of chemicals are in that sponge, and I'm sure glad I found it before one of my children did! Then she sends me a picture of the hallway, and they stacked BOXES in the middle of the walking path!
Then my housesitter calls me and tells me the the POLICE just showed up at my house! Why is this Danielle woman TRYING to stress out an 8 month, high risk, pregnant mother? Apparently, she was all upset about the refund and cancellation,was yelling and screaming in the Manchester Police department, and when they told her to just refund $160 and cut ties, she stomped her feet and started making false accusations of my childrens well being!!! So of course they were obligated to come check everything (and obviously everything was cleared seeing that my children are VERY well taken care of), but how completely unprofessional and disrespectful of this business owner!
BUYER BEWARE! Not only is she a con-artist, but she will try to make false accusations on your childrens well-being if she doesn't get her way! I wish I could give negative stars

Please avoid at all costs!!! The owner first came up with a list of all she would do and the end result was just awful and the majority of what was promised was not delivered. They didn't even dust or enter my front room. My asthmatic child's room was covered with dust that they did not touch. The floors are sticky with soap not even rinsed. All the sinks and drains were filthy and not touch d. They charged over 500 dollars and could not even dust….so simple. The basement was not vacuumed and she misled us by promising verbally to do the Windows and then purposefully not including them on her paperwork. Watch her contracts carefully, she is very dishonest and corrupt. All the light fixtures were included but not done!! I'll include some after pictures of the "deep" cleaning of my floors…the worst cleaning service in nh and they force you to pay them upfront rather than after they complete the job…this should have been a sign for me. I just want to warn all consumers of potentially being ripped of by this very dishonest business.

Danielle makes a big fuss about delivering the Very Best, and charges a lot for it. Unfortunately, they don't deliver. Three house cleanings, and I never saw the same person twice. The initial "deep cleaning", for which she charged me SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS, was weird. Half the house was done perfectly, half the house was barely touched. I complained and Danielle seemed to be trying to push the blame on me for not "inspecting" properly before they left. That left a very sour taste for me. She offered to send the crew back and I said no, just have them take some extra time to do the rest of the deep cleaning on the second visit.
Second cleaning, a whole new crew, and the crew lead told me she was on a strict schedule and Danielle had left no extra time to make up for the deep cleaning work that hadn't been done the first time.
Third cleaning, again a whole new crew of people, left me with outside doors propped open (with pets inside who aren't allowed out), and a litterbox full of clumping litter dumped into a toilet, which obviously clogged. Their solution was to close the toilet cover and leave, so I got to discover it later that evening, plunge the bejeezus out of it to clear the clog, then clean the mess up myself. The followup conversation with Danielle, where she poo poo'd my concerns and flatly denied that litter had been put into the toilet left me so angry I ended up hanging up on her to get away from the frustration.
Every conversation and email with Danielle was painful and infuriating. I really truly tried to give them a shot. I should have fired them after the first cleaning, and stopped payment on the check, but I didn't. I took Danielle's word that she would fix things and make up for it. In the end, it was all talk. no results, and a huge mistake on my part.

I was somewhat surprised when I read some of the negative reviews that have been posted. I suspect it is because these folks have not had used cleaning services before or with any regularity. I have had house keepers for 30 years – and have been using Glass Slipper for 2 years since I moved to NH; so I have many cleaning companies to compare with, and a lot of experience. When I first hired Glass Slipper I had them come and do a "major clean" just after we moved in — and now have them come every other week for regular maintenance. My house looks shiny and clean all of the time. The crews have never been late (except for one ice storm last minter) – and are always professional. I will at times ask them to concentrate more on one room or area than another, and they are always happy to do what is asked of them. Housekeepers are not miracle workers that will come in and transform a house from a disaster to a spotless palace — they are, however a great help in life and if given good direction, can make a house look great. I will continue to use glass slipper and have recommended them to friends and associates.

Mitchell responded within minutes to my request for a quote and his cost was reasonable – even to someone who has never paid to have his house cleaned before.
