R&D's Always Cleaning have cleaned my apartment three times, and each time I have been extremely impressed by the thoroughness, attention to detail, and professionalism of the services they have provided. After they clean, my apartment feels like a totally refreshed space! They are attentive to any special concerns or requests. For example, my shower curtain needed replacement, and they took the time to remove the old one and install the new one I had purchased. In addition, they provide their services in a very efficient manner (only about an hour for a very comprehensive cleaning of my apartment). I am so happy to support such an excellent local business, and look forward to supporting this business in the future. The business is very communicative and responsive to client questions regarding scheduling, and they consistently provide an invoice for their services.

Totally exceeded my expectations! Desha was very prompt and accommodating while scheduling a time that worked for both of us. When I got home from work I was in awe! I like to think I am a pretty clean person but I have never seen my house look like this! She is definitely very thorough and adds her own little touches (like rolling my dish towels, folding blankets, etc.) that were so cute. I have a Yellow Lab that sheds like crazy and I couldn't find hair anywhere! Will be making this a monthly thing. Definitely recommend R&D!!!

We hired Desha Howard for "move-in" cleaning services. She started off by giving me a quote for cleaning a 3bd 1bath house for $135 (see attached photo). I had explained that the stove really needed attention because it was filthy from the previous owner.
We then had to change the appointment time we scheduled, and Desha seemed to understand and was accommodating. We appreciated that. Additionally, when she did the work, the house looked great! She definitely cleaned it well. So well, that we even gave her extra money as a thank you for such a great job and for us changing the appointment time.
Fast forward a few weeks, we wanted to use her services for another house. This house is the same size with same number of bedrooms and bathrooms. This time, it's $135 but she wouldn't be cleaning the stove because we said we were planning on replace that.
I was confused. Wait, last time it was $135 with the stove and this time it's excluding an appliance? I told her this doesn't make sense and showed her the quote from yelp from before. She said that I had told her the refrigerator didn't really need to be cleaned so she cut her price last time.
My yelp message clearly does not show that conversation. Additionally, she said she saw the refrigerator wasn't dirty, and so she lowered her price on that house. Problem is, this isn't true because she didn't see the refrigerator in advance before she sent us the quote.After sending her the message attached, she then proceeded to call and literally yell at us for being "confused!" Desha told us we're lucky because normally she charges $190 overall and extra fees for each appliance…. Well, after listening to her go off on us for long enough, I tried to calmly explain my point. She yelled at me again saying, "My price is my price and I'm not going to go back and forth with you!" As she continued to shout at me, I causally said thank you for her previous work, as she continued to talk over me, and ended our call.
I am just shocked she thinks a repeated customer (who would have brought her house after house as part of a business) would be the person she should try and manipulate. Sad because her service wasn't bad at all, her attitude is and her random pricing is.
I've attached photos so everyone can see how nice we were and how out of line she is. I don't recommend people use her services until she can establish a price menu and change her attitude towards her customers.
April 26th 7:15pm:
Desha responded to our review with some pretty baseless statements.
First, the refrigerator was not discussed over the phone. Ever. The first time I ever spoke with Desha on the phone was Sunday April 7th (same date we originally scheduled her services). However, her quote is clearly from March 19th (see the photo).Secondly, she's not charging the same price when she excludes appliances she originally agreed to clean for that price just a few weeks prior. That's called raising your prices… which, for or the record, is fine but not when you pretend you didn't raise them and you gave me a phantom discount on the previous service.
That leads me toThirdly, the idea we ever raised our voices is laughable. We answered with "Hello" and she started in on us immediately. Not once was I allowed to say a word as she continued to yell at me over the phone about how she isn't going to go back and forth with me. Yet, if she would have actually listened, I probably could have just understood her point of view. Clearly her anger got the best of her. Too bad for her. I'm not out to destroy any businesses since I run one.
Shortly after posting this review due to her irate behavior, she sent us the passive aggressive text messages (now attached via photos): "Thanks for the great review!" And "Find something else to do with your time please!"
Well this is a good use of my time Desha. To make sure you do a better job with communication, not lie about me raising my voice, and so you don't lose out on more customers.

This cleaning service far exceeded my expectations. We recently moved out of a rental house managed by a particularly persnickety company. We knew they would ding us for every small thing, so we thought it would be a great idea to hire a cleaning company to do a move-out clean. I've never had anyone clean my house, but after this experience, I'm not sure why! R&D Always Cleaning spent ~5 hours making my house SPOTLESS. I didn't know an oven could shine that much! I looked on yelp around a month ago to look for a cleaning service about a month ago. Desha was one of the first responses and also left me a clear and concise voicemail with her number and the quote for my 1 bedroom apartment.

As most ladies know, nail salons can get very dirty due to acrylic dust and just overall day to day customer service. I was looking for a cleaner who would be available in less than three days and Desha responded immediately and had a perfect timeslot for me. She got there early, had very reasonable rates, and sent me pictures of the work afterwards since I wasn't able to stay the entire time she was there. To be honest, I felt totally weird about hiring a cleaning service for a one-time clean. I have a disability and it makes some of the thorough, elbow-grease style cleaning really hard for me. Tameika did an absolutely incredible job. The booking service was super easy prior to my appointment and Tameika made every step seamless.
I mean, truly, she set such a high bar for any company I may ever use again, ever. Tameika was so efficient and quiet I barely knew she was there, and is not to mention just a very kind person. I tried my best to offer coffee and snacks, but she was so focused! I really appreciated that she was exactly on time for my appointment.

Update: I had another solid cleaning. HOWEVER, I booked an appointment 6 weeks ago for today because I had company coming in and wanted a nice clean. I never heard from the crew but found the number from a previous cleaning. I just heard back from the crew person to find they were unaware of the booking because Tim doesn't give them much work. They offered to come another day but, as I said, I needed someone today.

Extremely pleased with servicing! Our previous cleaning person was no longer available, after 4 years of monthly service. We needed a new cleaning person ASAP. This cleaning was a gift of 4 hours and we were so looking forward to it. But it really was awful. The house is 2600 square feet, all on one floor, lots of wood floors, but half is carpeted. The team was 10 minutes late, which would have been ok if they had stayed an extra 10 minutes to make the full 2 hours OR finished the whole house early. But they skipped vacuuming half the house. They used Orange Glo polish on the furniture, but didn't wipe it off, so there was lots of oil on everything. We still can't figure out what they used to clean the tile bath floors, but it was so sticky that it took us two times to mop it off. Meanwhile, it had been tracked through the house and made sticky residue on the wood floors too. Instead of focusing on cooking for my dinner party, I was wiping off oil, scrubbing floors, etc. They didn't even empty the trash cans in the bathrooms. We have had many housecleaning services over the years, with feedback that we are easy to work for and not demanding. But this was truly awful, and we would never hire them again, nor recommend anyone else do so.

I purchased a couch for my new apartment off of Facebook marketplace! It's so cute and perfect for my space, and I got an excellent deal on it! But since it was pre-owned, I was worried about what kind of history the couch had, and it didn't smell fresh either. It also had a good amount of cat hair, which made my cat afraid of it. After vacuuming, Lysol spraying, Febreeze, baking soda, and more vacuuming, and not perceiving much of a difference, I knew it was going to take professional intervention.
Which led me to Yelp in search of a steam cleaning service, and I was able to get a few quotes.
Todd's very responsive and his work is good! His price quote for steam cleaning my couch was in my budget and felt affordable to me. He was able to fit me in his schedule easily since I live in Berea. He's professional and I would recommend his services to anyone!
My couch immediately looked better, and once it was dry from the steaming, it had much less of "another person's house" smell on it. I can sit on my couch and feel good knowing it's sanitized and fresh smelling!

I'll try them again at least once more to see if they're better but my deep clean apartment service was pretty good overall. I understand mopping is hard on my old wood floors but unsure what was done that made the clean "deep" for the extra fee as it wasn't my baseboards. The organization, surface cleaning of counters and my stove and bathroom was good! The team was requested to be punctual but was over half an hour late so I went to work and then had to leave work to let them in my place. The two women were friendly. There were a couple paper towels and cleaning disposable sponges left on my coffee table and in the kitchen. Total for deep clean for two bedroom apartment was about $190. There was no mechanism for me to tip the cleaners.

My spouse and I decided for Christmas to get a deep house clean for each other, and man, it may have been the best gift ever. There were two professional young ladies who arrived promptly on time at 9:30am (and sent a text reminder when they were on their way). They scrubbed the entire house until after 12:30pm. They did not miss a single spot! I don't know how the two of them accomplished so much, even though they were here for a while, it is very impressive. We are extremely pleased and our house looks almost brand new (which is saying a lot, it was built in 1899). This is our first house cleaning, we don't usually spend money on things like this, but it was well worth the cost and we are talking about making it an annual thing. Highly recommend Cardinal Maids

I hired Cardinal Maids for a move-in cleaning. I figured that going for a flat-rate service would provide ample time to pay extra attention to the few things in my empty house that needed it. However, the three items – bathtub, backsplash and cabinets (for which I paid an extra fee) – were poorly cleaned and I had to do them myself later after all.
I called and received a refund on the cabinet cleaning fee. In regards to the backsplash, I was told that wasn't something they typically addressed depending on total time spent in the residence. To reiterate, it was an empty space so there really wasn't much else to do in the residence. It really ended up feeling like I paid $150+ for someone to mop and vacuum my floors. Not a good value, do not recommend.

Cardinal Maids has been my home cleaning service for several months now. My work schedule changes weekly and sometimes daily, as I am an "as needed" employee. C.M. works with me adjusting to my schedule. They do so patiently and kindly.

I hired Cardinal for a move-in clean at my new house and a move-out clean at my old house. Money well spent! Both times, the teams called to tell me they could come early and arrived right when they said. They did an awesome job, especially for the move-out clean. The online scheduling platform is also extremely useful whereas some other companies require you to submit an inquiry and cannot guarantee a time/day until they call to contact you. I am so satisfied with their service!!!! I had a last minute request and they came right away. The tenants who moved out left the apartment an absolute mess but Cardinal Maids was able to clean most of the disgusting gunk.

I loved my appointment with Cardinal Maids — I booked a one-time cleaning, and plan on using them again soon!
Booking was incredibly easy. I requested a time, the manager texted me to let me know that while that time wouldn't work, there was another available. On the day of the appointment, the team arrived right around their 9:30am time. Melissa asked to have a look around the house so they could make sure they saw everything up front, and asked me if I had any particular parts or jobs that I wanted them to focus on (for me, dusting is my nemesis — and they definitely handled it well!). She and Rachel were efficient and thorough, and left my house sparkling clean. My husband and I are happy days after with the cleaning job they did. It felt so good to have this done for us, and free up several hours of free time!
My only question is something that popped up when I was booking– though there is flat rate, transparent pricing on the website, which is great, there is also a "tip" option when booking. I've only ever used independent house cleaners in the past who had an all-inclusive, no tip policy, so I'm not quite sure how this should work when working with a company. This team worked hard, and I hope they are being compensated well — personally I'd rather have that built in to the flat rate, but if not, an option to tip after the service would be helpful.

The staff was very friendly and It was super convenient to book online.
But with that being said, they only did an Okay job. What was really lacking was the thoroughness that I expect from hiring professionals. There were spots on the floor that weren't mopped, the sink handles had cleaner left on them, the shower still had spots of shampoo on the tile, etc… I had to go back and do those things myself.
So if you are in a pinch and need a quick clean up they are fine, but you'd be better served to hire another company or do it yourself.

So this is the best cleaning company I've ever used. I tried the big chains initially, the employees seemed shady and they didn't do a great job. I would look around and certain areas would be completely untouched. I can half ass my own house for free. I even had one lady break my Dyson vacuum. Melinda and her girls have been working together for years and they are all great. They're licensed and bonded. They actually take pride in their work. They scrub my grout and tiles, they have my appliances looking new, clean my baseboards and ceiling fans, my tub which I thought was stained looks brand new again. I have been raving about this company and all my friends and family that have used them absolutely love them as well. Try them first, what have you got to lose other than grime, dirt and germs?

They showed up at our house with a team of three people and did not stop moving for five hours. I walked in at one point to find one of the team members standing on my kitchen counter, cleaning ABOVE my cabinets! My house has literally never been this clean. It was the best money we've ever spent on our home. I said to the owner, Melinda "My house has never been cleaned like this!" And she replied "that's the point! I have been using All 4 You for well over a year now. Being new to Cleveland, I had to rely on the internet to select a housekeeping service and I consider myself lucky that I found Melinda and her team. They are professional and detailed in their work. If there is anything I want done differently, Melinda is always open and willing to accommodate. I have also had them do special cleaning (like after your floors were done and the whole place was covered with dust). The payment structure by the hour allows me to pick and choose what services I want. For example I omit two of the bedrooms that get used 1-2x per year. Why pay to clean them every other week?
It's wonderful walking in knowing that the job will be done to the standard you expect.

Wow, where to begin…she puts on a nice front has some good reviews but I somehow missed the ones where her billing is totally screwed up. She told me $150 for the first hour and $75 an hour after that. I told her the rental was in rough shape remnants left behind roaches and she said that won't be a problem her cleaners can still do the work. I left keys to the unit with my roommate who confirmed they came at 9:50am give or take 5-10 minutes. Well Melinda calls me at 12:15pm to tell me her cleaners are leaving because they have bed bugs on them and they cannot complete their work. Big issue and lots of money is what I'm thinking. She sends me an invoice the following day and I called a reputable exterminator to investigate. Well he shows up, combs the carpet and cannot find any evidence of bed bugs. Treats for the roaches and leaves. I look at the invoice and she has billed me for $450 which is just asinine. I have her in text message and email telling me the amount of workers she sends does not change the hourly rate. I do some digging and my own basic math and her invoice is over charged by $188 dollars. I bring this to her attention and she starts to renege on what she said and then I come across the Yelp reviews about her billing and overcharges. In one email she tells me that IF she had only sent 2 workers and not 3 then it would have taken longer (more like 3-5 hours) so she billed me on that time and not the time her employees were actually here! Ridiculous! $150 for the first hour plus $75 for the second and 37.50 for the half hour does not equal $450. Literally floored. I get the old tenants left some crap behind but that's her job to clean gross places and she prides herself on it yet she thinks she can charge me for time that wasn't worked. Be very careful when engaging in business with her, no doubt they clean well but billing and math is not their strong suit. She pressured me to pay her the same day they left, insisted I told her I'd give her credit card over the phone and use chase quick pay which was not true. I always ask for an invoice for these reasons exactly. As you will read there is no way to determine how long 1,2 or even 3 people
could take to clean a house. I regret going into a business transaction with her. If you charge by the hour then actually charge for time worked. I'm not the only one who has had issues with her billing, look at the reviews and I hope your experience is nothing like mine. It's very convenient for her to renege and change her billing after services are rendered, very deceiving and a poor practice.

I contacted Melinda for a deep spring clean prior to listing our home for sale. She responded promptly and was very professional from our first conversation. She and her staff arrived on time prepared to get to work. They were extremely thorough – all of those little things in your home that get overlooked during your normal cleaning looked like new again! My home has never looked and smelled this clean!

My house was spotless! They came right in and got to work, no bs!
She cleaned things I didn't even were dirty! My corners were cleaned the marker was removed from the fridge and no crazy chemical smells! Only suggestion I would make is signing up for weekly or bi weekly rate! I didn't sign up in time so I have to pay the first time fee again, but it's worth it! This is the best cleaning service I have ever paid for!

If there were 10 stars, this company definitively is worthy of it! Melinda and her crew left my house beautiful! They were very meticulous and efficient. The previous tenants left the gas range grates caked with oil. No matter how much bleach and cleaning solution I used, I could never get them as clean as I wanted. Melinda left them spotless! I was in awe. She wiped every ledge, door, baseboard, and scrubbed the floor. It was such a wonderful feeling to relax in a spotless, fresh smelling house. My boyfriend hired Melinda and her team to clean his house. I read all the positive reviews on Yelp and felt comfortable based on the reviews written about the quality of her work. Well let me tell you firsthand….this woman and her team can CLEAN. They get down on their hands and knees and scrub the floors and get in nooks and crannies with a toothbrush. They clean just like my Mom taught me to clean and that is really hard to find. No cleaning around stuff…they pick it up, clean it, put it back down, and they do an excellent job. I am one tough customer on cleaning ladies and this is an outstanding service. We hired her on the spot.
