I tried this company for home cleaning. I set up an initial cleaning and planned to continue with a monthly service. I have a 2000 square foot home. I was told because it was my first time I would have to pay for a "deep clean". The first time deep cleaning price is higher per hour than the repeat customer price. I was fine with that as I was planning to become a regular monthly customer, but what I got was not a deep clean. I agreed to pay the cleaner for 8 hours of work. She came late and left early though. She didn't even touch my kitchen. She spent the majority of her "8 hours" upstairs. I am assuming she dusted and vacuumed because the shower barely looked touched. The woman who runs the business talked to me after the cleaner left and told me that other customers "pay the cleaners gas money to stay longer". Huh? Didn't I just pay you for an 8 hour deep clean? Once I got home and inspected the work, I sent pictures to the business owner of what I noticed was not done. The next day she sends me a quote for 3 more hours for the cleaner to come back and finish the job. So even though I paid for a deep clean, I needed to pay more to finish the job. I told her that I didn't get the "deep clean" I paid for and she insinuated I was trying to get something for nothing by saying, "do you want her to come from Watsonville and not be paid"? No that was not the case at all. I wanted to get what I paid for. From what I could tell, I did not get it. After a back and forth via text explaining my case, she offered for the cleaner to come back no charge. But I said no thanks. The damage had already been done. Between the cleaners late arrival and early departure, the lack luster job she did, the money I paid and the pressure to spend more money, I did not want to utilize this business anymore even if was going to be "free". Wow, wow, WOW!!! I really appreciate Wanda and her team at Always Home Services! They were quick, thorough and quiet. They wore masks for safety and we're very respectful of our home. I have been needing to declutter and get some deep cleaning done, but with everything else going on, I just haven't had the time. I contacted Always Home through Yelp on Monday, and we made an appointment for them to come today (Saturday). Maria and Angelica arrived on time and ready to work. They did an excellent job, and anything that I felt needed a little bit more attention, they got right to it–no questions asked.
Payment was convenient, and Wanda even called to check on things before she sent the bill.

I really do not like to write bad reviews but felt remiss if I didn't write one about my experience with Wanda. The review has taken more time to write than the "consultation" but I just want to save others from wasting their time. Also, I would note that this woman has this and one other rating in the last 30 days. Not a long time in business or has burned bridges and therefore is setting up a new shop?
If you live in a mansion and are willing to write a blank check, it might be a match?
She is a TERRIFIC snob and fits the definition of a "negger." After over 20 min of her negging me, my friend, my home, life etc., I abruptly ended the "consultation" by telling her it wasn't a match and guiding her to my front door.
During the summer, our family lives between 2 homes. My daughter goes to an elite private school in Seaside so we live in Carmel during school and Bay Area/Silicon Valley because it is closer to hubby's wrk and kids friends.
Our home 1350 sq ft in Carmel is admittedly a bit cluttered and in need of some TLC but in no means filthy or in serious disarray. I even hosted a classmate +parents playdate the day b4.
I mention all this because of Wanda's constant negging left me defensive and demeaned. But, I guess that is the true intent of a negger is to criticize and demean a person so that you can manipulate them?
Highlights of her negfest/"consultation"
-When meeting my good friend that lives close by (upscale zip code) that was helping me organize my daughter's bedroom asked in a condescending tone "are you the nanny/babysitter? I have jobs and do placements." My friend does help me and I do pay her but FAR from being "the help." My friend was fairly offended by her and her statements and asked me to carry through with a bad review because of it.
-My 8-year-old daughter asked if she was going to be helping by cleaning our home, she scoffed and told my daughter "OHHH NO!! I do not clean. I hire other people to do that!" As if she is too good to do any work herself and we would be lucky if she took our money.
-Told me SEVERAL times that my home was not like her other clients in that it has "things everywhere." When I told her I understand that while my home has some tidying up to do, it is perfectly reasonable for one to have a blender on the kitchen counter next to a coffee maker. She made off like I was a candidate for the tv show Hoarders for lacking an "appliance garage" in the cabinets and or not completely bare countertops.
– Asked me about my garden and yard and if I had a gardener. When I told her that I am currently looking for one, she then criticized the yard and told me I should clear all the plants that make up the green lush plant growth that offers privacy from the neighbors. Again, not everyone has an English type garden with manicured plants everywhere. Our yard is super low maintenance and drought tolerant.
-Quoted OUTRAGEOUS prices. Told me I should expect to pay more than $2000 a month for gardening services, $50 per hour PER CLEANER and insisted I would need at least 2. Making it $100 an hour for 2 people to "deep clean" my home. Refused to give an estimate on how many hours she thought these $100 per hr cleaners would work, basically expecting me to write a blank check to her for "her services." "I recently had my team clean a house for over 20 hrs (so, more than 2k) and it was immaculate and VERY organized. Unlike your home, this house had nothing out of place." Again, criticizing my home and implying that if she took the job it would be very big of her to do so.
-Ask me what kind of cars my husband and I drive. In an effort to try and figure out how much I am "worth."
-When I told her we are renters (because we did not know if the school for my daughter was going to work out, we decided to rent for a year to figure out exactly where we would want to buy), told me that she feared that our landlords might not renew our lease based on the home being so "cluttered and disorganized."
-When I told her I am a Master Chef and Food Network champ, she asked me for my card so she could refer jobs to me. Uhhhh?!? I dissolved my successful catering company for 10+yrs to be a stay home mom to my 7 and 8 yr old kiddos. If and when I go back to cooking, I highly doubt I would need her to find clients. Beyond rude.
Like I said, after she told me that it was going to take 1000s of $$$$ to make my home come close to HER standards, I was sick of the negging nonsense and saw her to the door. With decades of entrepreneurial experience, I know what is reasonable or not to pay. She and her rates were outrageous.
She should know that particularly in NorCal, people do not always show their wealth. I do not tell people what my financial portfolio is unless they are my accountant, banker, or financial planner. Definitely not a cleaning company. I also do not tell people where my husband works because it is a company that has a rep for "rich techies."

I needed the outside of my business pressure washed… I was unsure of the last time (if ever) it had been done.
I took to Yelp to look for local cleaning businesses and Miguel responded almost immediately to my request with a very reasonable quote. Not only that, he was extremely compassionate when I had to reschedule at the last minute due to factors out of my control.
His service was quick, efficient, and went above my expectations.

They failed to perform one of the essential duties necessary for me to obtain 100% of my cleaning deposit, which was to wash the sliding glass doors to the balcony. When I confronted them they said they'd do it the following Tuesday, but failed to show despite having been paid to do this. In response to your reply, once it was brought to your attention, Miguel agreed to meet me at the apartment at noon. At 10:30 he called to say he'd be delayed until around 1:30. It's now 3:00 and you haven't shown. Since my deposit is riding on this, I went over and cleaned the doors myself. Your response to not performing the work in the first place is less than stellar and I will not be using your service again nor recommending you to my friends. I have much more to do today than wait around for you to make up your minds when you would like to show up to finish the work you were already paid for.

Alright so, as an update, they actually spent the time to fix the screens and drive them back. Still got charged for the window cleaning but honestly it's fair with the amount of work I'm assuming they put in. Even though it took a few months to fix this, I'm going to chalk this up to COVID era delays. I would just say the cleaning services are fine, but be careful with the window cleaning and take a picture of the screen frames before.

I have been doing some repair work at my mom's house, and there was dust everywhere from the contractors. Monterey Cleaning Service was able to come by a few days before Thanksgiving, and they did a terrific job.
Two women showed up in the company van, took a look at the house and how big it is, then discussed with their supervisor how long they thought it would be. I approved the time (about 3 hours) and they got to work. They went into the kitchen cabinets where dust had gotten into the dishes and cleaned everything.
I recommend them and will use them again in the future.

What more can I say about Monterey Cleaning Company. I outlined exactly what I wanted on Yelp for three cleaning company's and they responded immediately. The prior owners were pet owners, so they had their hands full for sure. However, this did not seem to be at issue at all. Supervisor Clara came as arranged, on time, for visual inspection on Monday to provide quote. Clara's bid was more than reasonable due to the fact it was a stay till it's done bid and boy did it get done. The whole crew was great starting at 8:30am to finish around 4 :00pm. They were thorough, gave attention to detail, and were organized as well. I thank the whole team for their extra efforts and would definitely use them again. Clara and her team did a phenomenal job. Prepping for open house and sale, but I would have used them over the years if I had known abot them so I'm telling you! They did: Top to bottom house cleaning, sweep, mop, cabinets, cleaned the stainless appliances, removed cobwebs, countertops, vacuumed and mopped the tile floors, detail cleaned, dusted, wiped doors, cleaned hood vent, stove burners, cleaned oven and grills. Dusted baseboards, cleaned windows inside and out including tracks and screens. The place looks so amazing almost don't want to sell it and move, it looks better than when we bought it over 3 years ago and had to clean ourselves before moving in. After 3 people going through all drawers and cupboards already, they managed to find a few artifacts from the previous owner had left. Proof that no stone or dust bunny were left unnoticed.
Vaulted ceilings and high light fixtures were no challenge to this crew. I paid a comparable price to clean prior to my listing my house and they did a marginal job. In my opinion, I got my money's worth and much more!

The quote was $40/hr which seemed reasonable given cleaning services in the San Francisco area averages $50/hr. for a team of two. I explained the house was a weekend home and consists of 900 sq.ft. 2bdrm, 1 bth that needed a simple cleaning meaning cleaning floors and surfaces. It was expected to take no more than 3 hrs. max.
Two ladies arrived as scheduled at 9am and by noon, they wanted to take lunch. We explained the scope which was vacuum & mop floors, dust surfaces and clean the small bathroom. We did not watch over them as we were preparing for guests. They pulled the refrigerator & stove out and left the house in a disarray while they took lunch. Our guests arrived and we entertained them in the backyard which was awkward. They finally finished three hours later and while they did a decent job; it should not have taken 6 hours to clean a 900 sq.ft. home. I was told it was actually $40/person meaning $80/hr for house cleaning services which is absurd. The job was certainly not worth close to $500.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you choose to hire them, be sure to watch them to ensure they follow direction and establish the price & expecting timing upfront.

We've had the pleasure of working with Kristina Bellem and Draper Services for over 5 years now. We have an "on call" arrangement where Kristina has assigned one her cleaning staff to our account and services the house only when requested. We don't rent our house but we do share it with a handful of friends/relatives. We have always been very happy with the job that Carmen (the person assigned to our account) does and have been very happy with Kristina's management of the relationship. Hired once for cleaning main rooms of the house, plus windows. They worked continuously for several hours and I thought things looked good, after a quick walk through (they did the walk through after they were packed up and ready to go, so it wasn't as if anything could be done about it if I was not satisfied). After they left, though, I saw that the floors had not been cleaned (Miguel said they had been mopped, but if they were it was just a quick run with a damp mop). So I had to scrub the floors I had just paid someone else to clean. That's not right.
After I contacted Miguel about this, he increased the bid he had given me for regular cleaning service. He said it was a distance and fuel charge. But the distance was the the same as it was for the first job, so…I am now looking for another cleaner.
I hate dealing with businesses where people play games and do pricing shakedowns. I don't care how small or large the amount of money is: What I care about is the ethics of the interactions. I won't deal with someone who cannot stick to a bid.
Miguel gave me a firm bid for the initial clean, but did not give a firm price for windows. He left that open. The charge for the windows almost doubled the price of the house cleaning. If you hire OG Cleaning, I would be wary of leaving any part of the pricing open. Get a firm bid before you hire them.
I do not recommend this service in any case. I don't understand how a cleaning service can leave a home with dirty floors and consider the job completed.

I needed someone to clean a very small 10 x 10 bedroom with private bath/closet/kitchen prep area that is a rental so called OG. Miguel "cleaned" for about 3-4 hours. Unfortunately, I didn't check carefully but one thing I specifically asked him to do was clean the bathroom floor grout which was black. He said that was the color of the grout but it was not. It was grey. So, that was awful. My new tenant has pointed out multiple areas, some small, like drawers that weren't cleaned. My tenant has noted in writing multiple areas that weren't really clean. Considering I paid $225. for such a small space and it was supposed to be a deep clean, I feel like I was ripped off. I will never hire them again.

OG Cleaning has done a very good job cleaning my windows (indoor/outdoor) the first time I hired them, and tile flooring and bathrooms the second time I hired them. They are very responsive and will not hesitate to ask your opinion about the results to make sure that your expectations are fully met. Some birds left a mess on the stucco of the house and I specifically requested that they take care of cleaning it… Given that the spot in question was very high and not easy to reach they promise they would take care of it with more appropriate cleaning tools (power washer was needed) during their next appointment at no additional charges. And they did so. I highly recommend their services and will not hesitate to hire them again.

I *highly* recommend Domingo's Carpet Care & Janitorial Services for your house and carpet cleaning.
We recently purchase a home in Carmel and contacted them for a quote.
Dominic arrived (a very personable gentlemen) and informed him that I wanted a deep cleaning of the house before I move my furniture. So he had an empty house to clean.
I had carpets in the bedrooms that had stains that needed to be cleaned as well.
Dominic had 2 girls come early in the morning to start cleaning the house. Mind you, it was filthy. No one had been living in the house for 5-6 months and it had accumulated lots of dirt, dust and dead bugs everywhere on the floor and windowsills. The toilet bowls had old water stains as well.
It took the girls 5.5 hours to clean a 3500 sq foot home and then right after, Dominic and one worker came in to clean the carpets.
I was impressed by the results of the cleaning and the carpet cleaning. No bugs to be found, floor stains were gone, floors were mopped, no dust to be found. Also, Dominic was able to remove the stains in the carpets making it look brand new!
I will definitely use them for regular housecleaning when we officially move in.

We hired Domingo's for an exit cleaning for a 2200 sq ft home in Pacific Grove. Working with Dominic was so easy that we cancelled our other bid appointments. We were scheduling the cleaning to take place after we moved out of the home and already on the road to another state. We scheduled an appointment and asked for 2 workers for about 2-3 hours of deep cleaning our kitchen and living room. On the phone I was quoted $120. They showed up and told me it will be $165 and said that they had somewhere else to be in an hour. They broke multiple things and tried hiding it. I had to ask for them to use cleaning supplies instead of just a towel, they still used the same towel on the whole house and it shows. Absolutely nothing is cleaned to an acceptable standard. They charged an extra additional fee for a window cleaning service but our windows are still filthy, some windows are completely untouched. I called to explain that things are still filthy/even sent pictures of the dirt everywhere and he said " we will come back but you'll have to pay another fee, we hooked you up, be grateful" Summary of my experience: Guaranteed a "commercial cleaning" but only got a wipe down with absolutely no cleaning supplies used and lost property:( Horrible communication and service.
