Updated 9/10 – received some photos and video clips from real estate taken by new tenant and the second cleaning company the new tenant called. They are not into details apparently. Even after re-cleaning, place still not clean and you can see how dirty the water is coming from the carpet steam clean machine (so I don't know if they actually steam cleaned the second time??).
Final update – despite the horrible horrible cleaning service they've shown, their customer service team is quite good. They agreed to waive the cleaning fees; pay for the replacement of the 2 damaged blinds; small compensation to the new tenants as requested. End results turned to be OK, but I have to say, as you can see, it's been an exhausting process. I'm changing the rating from 1 star to 2 star due to the post-cleaning service.

Give me the world's most powerful psychedelics and I still could not imagine a worst service from "Fantastic Services".
The most important thing about this exit clean was that the apartment keys be returned to the real estate agent. I had no capacity to do this, as by the time the clean finished, I would be 5 hours away. I noted this in my job brief, in subsequent calls with FS, and I wrote it on the envelope I put the keys in.
Did FS return the keys to the agent? No, they left them with the building reception.
The problem is, during these COVID times the reception is only intermittently open. The agent couldn't access the reception (or keys, or apartment) until 6 days after the clean.
I got a call from the agent on that 6th day. He couldn't work out what FS had actually cleaned. He sent me photos. I couldn't see what FS had done either. I sent the photos to FS. Their reply, "Looks like about 20% wasn't done" ???
Under these circumstances, a "reclean" is unacceptable to me, and to the agent. We're out of time. The agent is organising their own cleaner and of course, will be deducting this from the bond refund.
I paid a premium to FS for a peace-of-mind exit clean. I got anything but.
I've lodged a case with NSW Fair Trading for a refund.

Definitely not fantastic. I turned down other cleaner companies just to hire these cleaners. They get you to choose a specific time on their website scheduling when you book your job so I chose the free time slot of 11am. On the day the cleaning was meant to be completed at 11am they messaged me saying they wouldn't be able to come until 3.30pm, they finally turned up after 4.30pm then wanted to charge me another $150 on top of the original quotation. They wasted most of my day having to wait around for them at home and then expected me to pay nearly double the original quote. Definitely wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

I booked an end of lease clean through Fantastic Cleaners. The booking was made on Monday and the cleaning was scheduled for Thursday. I got a text from them on the day of the cleaning saying that they won't be able to get to my apartment due to an accident. Furthermore, they offered no solution, saying that they won't be able to clean my place that week, despite the fact that I had inspections scheduled for Saturday. Not to mention there quote was at least 30% higher than quotes I got from 5 other places. Poor experience.

I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of the cleaning done not only did it cost a fortune $329 to be exact. All that was done was 3 cupboards and ny oven (which I had to point out to finish) bench tops were left dirty and cupboard doors. I ended up finishing it all myself

Cleaners came for an end of lease clean through Fantastic Cleaners, they advised me they would clean all marks off of the walls and marks on the carpet. I have now checked the cleaning and the house is still quite messy, the grout has not been cleaned, marks all over the carpet and the walls not touched. I specifically asked them to get a small piece of blu tac off of the walls and they called me and said they were unable to get it off… I managed to pull it off the wall without any damages in about three seconds. I have complained to this company to allow them to make good on the poor services and they refuse to fix the issue. Very poor service, do not book this company – you will be disappointed.

I have never in my life gone to the effort to write in a complaint, although, in this situation I need to. I cannot stress enough to people to NEVER USE THIS CLEANING COMPANY. I work in real estate and have dealt with many cleaning companies in my time but this company is by far the worst, both in cleanliness and customer service. An end of lease clean is what was needed and Ive never seen anything left so unclean and disgusting. The worst part is that I took photos of everything that hadnt even been touched and all I got in response were excuses. None of the drains had even been touched, still with hair and food stuck to it. The bathroom still had mould on the walls and the drain was black. The dishwasher was not even touched (even though at an end of lease clean that should always be done as it is a part of the property; as is the dryer of which they couldnt even clean the filter), window sills were filthy and the fridge cupboard had not been touched, with food and orange liquid on the floor. I have several photos of all of this and will be uploading through another platform as I am that sickened by their service.
I will also be stating on my vacate letters that this company shall not be used for any end of lease cleans and I urge any one else to find an alternate cleaning service.

They ripped me off in Darwin the exact same way. The are a scam company ran by Ben Cooney whose wife Cassandra was busted by channel 9 operating the scam. She was not allowed to be a company director any more and just transferred to Ben. Were operating as Made for Cleaning when they got me.I persisted through NTCAT, Darwin local court civil registry then the Ballina Local Court to enforce payment with the assistance of a bailiff. It was only with the court order was my money repaid and costs included. Company changes name every few months. You can get your money back but have to persist.

Very unsatisfied with the whole service, especially when they claim to take it to COURT if negative review posted.
1. Cleaner turned up on the scheduled day to collect keys, but did not return afterwards to do the cleaning, no response received when we tried to contact the cleaner.
2. Next day, had to call the company, for them to track down the cleaner.
3. Cleaner did a poor job.
4. When cleaner was contacted, asking him about his work, he called back, swearing and using rude language.
5. The cleaner came back the day after to finish the job after being contacted by the "WA coordinator/manager" of the company (who we found out to be the subcontractor), did not finish the job properly again, so we had to finish it up ourselves for returning the house to the agent on the specified day, which got delayed.
5. Cleaner did not return keys after cleaning, not even after a week. No response received when we message the "WA coordinator/manager".
6. When the cleaning company was contacted, they said the cleaning service was sub-contracted and they have fired the subcontractor already. They tried to contact the subcontractor but received no response. No further help was suggested, even though they are responsible for their unwise choice of subcontractor.
7. We requested for a refund for everything happened, and said we will write a negative online review, the cleaning company called and claimed they will take us to court if negative online review was posted.

Appalling. They didn't provide the service we paid for and then lied to us and the real estate agent saying they had completed a job that they never even showed up for.
We hired them for an end of lease clean which included carpet steam cleaning. When the cleaners showed up they told us it was another team who was responsible for steam cleaning carpets, but Made for Cleaning never arranged for anyone to undertake the cleaning, so they just took our money and refused to provide us with the service we paid for. When we complained that they didn't do the job we had paid for, they told us an outright lie and said that the carpets had been cleaned – we have confirmation from the landlord, the real estate agents and the cleaners themselves that the work was never carried out. We requested a refund for the services they didn't provide and have been ignored ever since. The "customer service representatives" are rude and unhelpful and refuse to provide any assistance. If you have a problem with their service they will ignore all emails and phone calls from you and refuse to follow up on any issues. There is no internal complaint system. They have been reported to the Office of Fair Trading.

We organised an end-of-lease clean with this company. In the beginning they were really helpful: answering voicemails, providing a seemingly comprehensive list of things that they would do, and organising for one of their contractors to come in over the weekend to clean our rental.
However, while the cleaning contractor arrived and did perform a partial clean of the property, they missed out a large number of necessary items. Now we wish that we'd read these reviews! It was so hard to get in touch with the company and despite e-mailing them a copy of the agent's report with photos of all the items that they had missed, the company did not get in touch with the agent to collect the keys (we had already had our 'final' inspection and handed over the keys as our lease had expired), and stopped responding to our e-mails. When we suggested that we would take this up with the customer affairs authority the response from one of the managers was words to the effect of 'go ahead, we didn't do anything wrong, just read our terms and conditions and see what you agreed to'!
It was enormously frustrating…we ended up getting another local cleaning service to finish the elements of the bond clean that weren't completed, and they did so with such amazing customer service at a fraction of the price. As mentioned we had already finished our lease and handed back the keys, and a new tenant was to take possession of the property in a few days' time, so it was less than ideal for the real estate agent and an unnecessary waste of our time and money rectifying this substandard end-of-lease clean.
We had this 'clean' performed on Saturday the 20th of January in a Darwin suburb, in the NT, and it cost us $576 for a four-bedroom house…next time would happily pay more to get the job done at the time that it should be. We have enclosed a copy of our proof-of-payment to the product review website. Like other customers who have reviewed this company, I will have no hesitation in posting the e-mail correspondence we received from 'Made For Cleaning' to give you an idea of the customer service you can expect if you run into problems. We have not heard from 'Made For Cleaning' in five days…no response to our e-mails asking when they would make contact with our agent and organise a reclean (even after they told us that they would come and perform a reclean). No response to our voicemail messages. We have essentially wasted several hundred dollars on this business…we could have received a much better, headache-free, and customer-focused service from a local Darwin business. So many lessons learned.
Hope that prospective clients of 'Made For Cleaning' read these reviews and draw their own conclusions. We would suggest that you do not give this business your money.

I must admit, that I get pretty tired of cleaning. I had my partner's birthday party and work has been really busy, and I was going to be cooking all day preparing for the party so I thought I would hire a cleaning company to take care of the cleaning for me.
I went to the website, looks awesome, it is easy to use and has a cleaning calculator there to help you figure out how long the cleaning should take. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment.
I was able to book for the cleaning online, and I received a confirmation email afterwards with information about my booking and the contact information of the cleaner that was going to clean my house.
I booked for Friday, and Alex came and met me at my apartment and I left the keys with him. When I came home from work, my house was spotless! The kitchen was really shiny, and i could tell that Alex had got all the soap scum off from the sink. The kitchen is the messiest in my house, and he had cleaned the stove tops and it was shiny and new again.
Every inch of my house was immaculate and I was really happy to see the bathroom and shower all nice and clean.
Alex' attention to detail was great, and everything on my bathroom bench top was spotless. My carpet's were all fresh and clean, and i was really happy with the service.
Alex left the key's in my mailbox as I had instructed, so I didn't have to worry about that. Overall, I was really happy with GetCleanr's service. Easy and painless booking process, and I came back to a very clean house!
