I wanted to hire a company for a deep clean. I contacted 5 companies to obtain a quote. It turned out 4 companies where on Long Island and the fifth was Cleany that covered the NYC area. As Yelp has people from all over, I thought iI would tell you about them. Cleany has wonderful reviews. I believe a good majority were 5,stars and a few where 4 stars where the clients were happy with CLEANY. Some of us Yelpers are tough reviewers. I would like to add that I received an email from Cleany which explained in great depth what exactly a deep clean is. I must say that this company is excellent and you knew ahead what exactly they would be doing.

Our cleaner, Luz, was punctual, friendly, and left the place looking IMMACULATE. She organized a lot of loose objects I had left in my room – it's not the most organized place so that was a real feat on her part! It looks like a brand new apartment and I am proud to come home to it. The booking system was extremely straightforward and it was very clear what I had to provide (a vacuum and step stool). I would absolutely use Cleany again and would recommend them highly.

My regular cleaner hadn't been available since the first of the year. I tried to maintain my two bedroom apartment but it became overwhelming. I had trouble finding a new, reliable cleaner & decided to return to Cleany, with whom I had been pleased after my first experience. I was able to arrange an appointment within two days, to my surprise & delight. Anna arrived a few minutes late. I explained my situation & what I needed done. She set to work immediately & started with the worst room in the apartment (my bathroom!).
She did an excellent job & got into corners missed by others. She continued non-stop with the rest of the place, working quietly & efficiently. I scheduled a deep cleaning of my apartment after we had fallen behind on regular maintenance. Veronica came and did a fantastic job! Moving things off of shelves, dusting the tops of book cases. Cleaning doors around the knobs. She was extremely thorough, and did an absolutely wonderful job.
Great value for the cost, booking and modifying the booking was super easy.
Most importantly, she gave me back TIME. It would have taken me much longer to do the same quality of work, and instead of losing a day, I came out energized and excited by how great the place looked.

I would've given 5 starts but my first appointment was canceled within 30 minutes of expected arrival time, the team did accommodate me by giving me credit and scheduling someone at a later date. The new person did a great job and I was pleased with the deep clean I received. She was on time and I didn't have to point out any areas that needed to be cleaned.

I paid $400 for what amounted to sweeping the floor and wiping counters down in an empty apartment. I'd asked for a pre-move clean and after settling in I found black splooge from the toilet sprayed all over the bathroom wall. The grout lines hadn't been cleaned and the baseboards were all dusty.

At that price point in an empty apartment, I fee those things should be included. Learned my lesson. Never again.

I got in touch with the coordinator, Alicia, and she was very helpful, understanding and professional. She sent me two of her best – first Jeraldine, and then Anna.

They both were amazing. I never once felt judged by either Jeraldine or Anna (or Alicia) for the situation I presented them with. There was nothing but kindness, compassion, efficiency, and results. They also worked straight through – Anne 4 hours without stopping and Jeraldine 5 hours without stopping – no break, just work.

I was put in touch with Valeria who organized a team to deep clean our renovated empty home before we moved back in. She arranged for 3 women for the whole day to clean our 4 story home. I asked that they use non-toxic cleaning supplies and Bona (which I provided) for our wood floors. They arrived promptly and worked from 9 am to 5 pm, with one woman staying close to 7 pm to finish. They deep cleaned our previously used appliances which had accumulated dirt and grime over the 2 years of renovation. When Valeria came to look at the house the following day, she wasn't pleased with how the window was cleaned on the front door and asked that the worker return to do touch-ups.
As they did such a great job, I arranged to have a cleaner come to clean the empty apartment we were leaving. We were running late and Valeria called from out of town to make that adjustment. Again, the woman did a great job, leaving especially the bathroom and kitchen very clean. We got our entire deposit back, as the apartment was in such good condition.
I would definitely use this service again. I love that it is run by women and that the pricing is transparent. The women receive $30 an hour which seems reasonable for the work that they do and Si Se Puede gets an additional percentage of the fee.
Valeria is very responsive and checks to see that one is pleased with the service.

2 women presented late to our home this am. After a surveying our home they determined in a brief conversation between themselves that the job was too much for them! I offered to decrease the work for the same price but they still declined. Well, at least one person did. Not sure why? There were no surprises here.
I had completed an on line survey of our home (# of bedroom and bathrooms etc.) and spoke to a representative on the phone about the job. I got a base estimate and understood that the price would /could be more. Initially they did not have a team but after being on a wait list for 2 days I was given an appointment. Yeah!
Well, moving on. I will continue to seek a housekeeping service.

Can't say enough great things about this service. First off, the estimate would appear to be on the high side, but considering the time spent on the job, which in my case was 5 hours, I felt it was a great deal.

They are punctual, organized, and the booking process is incredibly easy. You submit your housing situation or the size of the job, you hear back within 24 hours, and then a cleaning person is assigned to you. A list of supplies is recommended or you can let them know you don't have any of that stuff and they will provide for you.

On the day of the cleaning, my assigned person was on time and communicated very clearly to me how long she would need. I was not initially prepared for a 5-hour job, but she insisted that because I was a first-time customer, she wanted to do as thorough of a job as possible, which leads me to my next point…

My apartment was ***glistening*** when she was done. Glistening. Capital G. I am not someone who likes to clean, but it is obviously necessary, so hiring a service was a no-brainer and I do not regret my decision of reaching out to Si Se Puede. They are a woman-owned co-op (!) so it is money incredibly well spent. Oh, and she wore a mask the whole time, so they are COVID-conscience. Hire them today!

We contacted We Can Do it on advice of a family memebr. They were right. The Coop sent Ines G Serrano and Griselda Ubera. They arrived on time and ready to work. On this initial visit, they cleaned for at least 5 hours, leaving the place cleaner than it's ever been during our residence. The price seemed high initially, but proved quite reasonable based on the effort and results. We recommend Ines and Griselda and We Can Do It Coop.

Anastasia Ochoa is a GIFT. My boyfriend and I are, you know, a littttle messy. Once a month Anastasia comes and does a thorough deep clean. She's meticulous and always spends several hours getting our place in tip top shape. She's also super communicative and does a wonderful job on spots I didn't even know needed cleaning. It's always such a treat to come back home once she's finished. I can't say enough about this service (or Anastasia!)

Out freaking standing. I've used MyClean (just OK) and Handy before finding Si Se Puede.

I used myclean 2-3 times. All were just OK. The worst was that they sent me a TON of emails asking for feedback. I sent back detailed feedback of things I was unhappy with and they wrote back basically saying to pound sand – can't recommend that.

Handy is hit or miss based on who you're assigned. I think of 5 cleanings, 2 were amazing, 3 were horrible. That's not a good track record. Plus, they barely pay their cleaners.

Enter Si Se Puede.

Holy. Crap. In what Handy would try to rush through in 3 hours with one person, SSP sent 2 people and they spent ~5 hours. I had to insist they were done so they could leave.

They left my 2b/2br SPOTLESS. We SEARCHED for dirt after they left and it was impossible to find any.

I love how easy it is to schedule. Call the office for your first visit. They send you a cleaner (and maybe a +1!) If you're satisfied, just text the main cleaner in the future to set a date. Rates stay the same!

Things I love about SSP:

* Of the cleaning services I've used (agencies like MyClean and Handy) this is BY FAR the best clean I've had. Nothing came close.
* This blows my mind – this is CHEAPER than the other services. How? I don't know. I tip INSANELY well and it's STILL cheaper than the base rate of the other services.
* My cleaner + helper keep all the money – they make a good living doing this — and they freaking deserve to. They're pros far better at cleaning than I can do — or that people signed up for the apps can pull off.

My assigned cleaners are Tarsila and Anna. They are amazing. They are like family. After my first clean I just point out a few things that I'd like them to focus on, show them where cleaning supplies are and get out of their way.

With ONE text to Tarsila I have an appointment locked in. They arrive early to stand around so they can ring my bell right on time – this is SO impressive. They don't rush, do an amazing job, and are well paid.

What's not to love about Si Se Puede? I can not recommend them higher than I do.

If I could give 100 stars I would. Absolutely exceptional – I thought I did a decent job keeping my 1bd/1bath clean and would use SSP for a more thorough deep clean. I am absolutely blown away by how thorough and detailed the cleaning was. Two lovely cleaners arrived at 11 and are still here at a little after 5pm. My regular housekeeper got into an accident and couldnt come clean my apartment in Bed-Stuy. I came across this yelp listing and saw that it was women owned and that all proceeds go directly to the cleaner. The reservation was super easy and organized, they email you with all the details and instructions on how to safely have someone come to your house in a COVID world.

I really appreciate that they give you your cleaner's contact before they come in case if your schedule changes. I was assigned to Maria and she was amazing. She came at 9AM and left at 4PM… she did such a spectacular job, going into every nook and cranny, and even organized my pantry shelf. She was so detailed and my apartment was looking spic and span! I really appreciate all the hard effort she took.

One mishap was that I didn't mention it was a 2 bed / 2 bathroom duplex .. I don't know why on the reservation system it was put down as 1 bathroom, but Maria was able to stay an extra hour to clean the other bathroom.

We hired some wonderful women through Si Se Puede several times, and keep coming back.

First they cleaned both our old and nee apartments during a move. Since they cleaned before we moved in and after we moved out there were no supplies, but when I let them know they brought everything they needed. For just a tiny bit extra they even cleaned a stove I thought would never look white again! Great!

That experience was so positive I asked the woman to come back and clean our new apartment. Unfortunately she wasn't able to return due to a pregnancy, however she handed me off to another cleaner who has come a few times and done a really great job. They clean everything thoroughly and are eager for feedback if there's anything I want more cleaning or anything different. Always cheerful and very hard working.

It is with a heavy and reluctant heart that I write this review. I was a customer for many years of this establishment. I love their mission. Everybody who worked for me from Si Se Puede worked hard. But I had two experiences in which two different cleaners stole valuable things from my home, and when I contacted the agency, they could not have cared less. No follow through, no apology, no consequence–nothing. I don't know how they screen their workers, but they need to do a better job. And there should be some sort of protocol for situations such as these. I should say that I am a good employer. I paid the cleaner who was cleaning for me throughout the lockdown. I gave outrageously high tips. I even paid extra during the holidays. I am not a nitpicker, and I am not a suspicious person. This makes me so, so sad to write this. Beware.

They were really nice and easy to schedule with. There were some things that we realized were missed, including parts of the basement, but not enough to rate them below 5 stars. Patrick was very friendly and honestly so patient with me, he gave me a step by step explanation of the process and how my appointment would go. He was very punctual and brought all materials/equipment for the job.

While on the phone he discussed all the services that he offered; he assured me that his company was insured Incase anything were to be damaged.

Patrick and his crew showed up early to the job. They had all of their equipment in tow, and all I had to do was allow them ample time to give the space a deep cleaning. The products they used weren't strong, and left my space sparkling like no one lived there.

When it came time to pay he accepted various types of tender. He was very detailed and organized in what he was charging me, and why. When Patrick and his crew finished cleaning my apartment he explained what was done, and he insisted we do a walk through to make sure it was up to my liking. He even wanted to look at the lease agreement to make sure I wouldn't be charged any fees if he had missed anything

The cleaning took about 6 – 7 hours – my apartment was seriously messy. They bring their own tools and are super friendly! I am definitely referring them to my mom and bf.

Choosing a business/service online can always be a crapshoot, but I am so glad that I found Elite Supreme Cleaning. Spoke with Jasmine via Yelp first who was incredibly quick to respond. Then spoke with Patrick on the phone who was able to get me a more precise quote after our conversation.

Patrick was very communicative throughout the entire process, prior to and during the cleaning – not to mention, also patient and polite. I couldn't be there in person, but he gave me updates via text the entire time. He and his associate arrived promptly, with all their own supplies, and he sent me before and after photos of almost everything they cleaned. I gave him a pretty specific list of things that I wanted him to tackle, but he even cleaned things I didn't even think to do. His attention to detail is above and beyond.

As for price, after comparing quotes from a few different places for a move in/out deep cleaning of my 1 bd/1br apartment, I found Elite to be pricey, but reasonable – especially for the quality. Patrick will be my go to person in the future.

Patrick handled my inquiry all the way to actually cleaning the apartment. I called him to clean my boyfriend's apartment, which was considerably grimy, dusty, and dirty. It had never gotten a deep clean since he moved in a couple years ago.

Thankfully, Patrick was so easy to talk to and was an amazing help in getting a quote and scheduling the clean just 2 days from calling him. For a deep clean of a 225 sqft 1 bedroom, it was $325 with an $80 deposit. Very fairly priced because of how DETAILED and THOROUGH Patrick was in the bedroom, kitchen, living room, AND bathroom. He did the floors, sinks, toilet, tub, windows, and mouldings as part of the deep clean. On top, I also asked for 2 cabinets, 3 appliances, stovetop, and oven to be cleaned. All of these were done perfectly! He also cleaned all the counters, tabletops, and dressers we had! All the old grease, dust, and grime were gone. Patrick exceeded my expectations all around.

I'm a little confused and give them the benefit of the doubt…maybe Yelp messaging is acting up. So I send an email…crickets. I try to call and a gentleman picks up (Patrick?), says he'll speak to Jasmine as Yelp can act up and he'll call me right back….crickets again.

Here's the kicker! I send a new quote request from my husband's account to confirm my suspicions. Same exact details of the job. What do you know? Jasmine replies immediately and quotes $500! And the time slot I discussed just hours prior is not offered. I have screenshots of all this as I assume they'll try to cover their tracks.

The only conclusion here is that they decided to accept a different job where they made up a higher price, which is actually fine. What isn't fine is wasting 24 hours of my time, blocking and ghosting me instead of simply letting me know they booked another job. I'm sorry, this is immature and unprofessional, especially by a company on Yelp with good reviews.

Their pricing structure is also suspect. How does the same job cost $200 to some and $500 to others within hours?

We had a fantastic experience with Elite Supreme Cleaners.

My wife and I are moving soon. We tried to clean out the new place by ourselves before we moved in. We really tried. But it didn't take long for us to realize that we needed professional help.

We called ESC, and Patrick showed up and saved the day.

Patrick was able to clear out greasy stains on the tops of the cabinets that I thought would outlive my grandchildren. He absolutely scoured the oven. I think I can actually see my reflection more clearly in my oven door than in my bathroom mirror at home (sidenote: I should ask him to clean my bathroom mirror at home).

When Patrick was done, our new/future apartment was gleaming and smelling of Pinesol. He did a great job and kept us posted with updates throughout the day.

We will definitely, 100% be calling ESC again.

Patrick was a pro from start to finish. He is personable and easy to work with. Our space is a new lease for a 6,000 sq ft office — his quote was well thought out, and he worked with me on price to make it happen. We needed a deep clean desperately.

He was early on the day of the deep clean, dealt with obstacles with ease (the elevator was broken), and worked diligently with his associate. He gave me updates throughout the day, did AMAZING work, and left the space looking brand new. He was also communicative about places they wouldn't be able to reach.

I highly recommend Elite Supreme, and we will absolutely contract them again. If they can do this for a super dusty and dirty commercial space, I'm sure their residential work is just as immaculate.

Very happy with Obsessive Cleaning in my first time using them. This is an update. I hired them again for the normal day to day cleaning and it still is spotless service, with great care and Liz was very nice with my cat, which I also appreciate. Everything looks and smells great, especially the floors, and those are tricky at my place.

My boyfriend and I were moving into a new apartment. It was a bit far from my current place and we wanted to get it cleaned before we moved in our stuff.

Mr Maid NY was amazing. They went above and beyond. We paid for moving in clean + all kitchen cabinets/appliances cleaned.

One of the main requirements I needed was someone to pick up the keys from me, and leave it at the apartment. Luckily I close to their office and they were able to provide that which saved me a trip to the apartment which was much appreciated. I paid ahead and they offered to clean it the day before we moved in so it would feel squeaky clean.

Day of Cleaning : They arrived early and was very communicative. They had an issue ( No fault of Mr Maid NY ) where the lock on the door issue and they could not get in. They spent around 30 min fiddling with it and they thankfully managed to get in and clean my apt! I honestly am so grateful.
( For more context about the lock, I was able to get in when I moved in but then got locked out due because of a key strike issue and had to call emergency lock smith after being locked out for 2 hours with the key not working)

Move in day, everything was sparkly clean! I thought there was some stains/some random spillage in the kitchen floor still. They offered to return to clean and fix it, however after we inspected the floor more it was stained into the floor and not remove-able.

I cant recommend them enough! They made a stressful move so much more less stressful.

The job was mediocre at best. They forgot to clean the cabinets, said they couldn't clean the grease off the stove. It was not a deep clean. Ended up paying $300 for a superficial clean to a studio apartment. Not worth it.

Right when the cleaner was about to leave, I quickly looked at everything and it seemed fine so I said it was okay. Though initially it looked like the cleaner was through, after further inspection, I noticed that the floors still had dust bunnies, though I paid extra to have the microwave cleaned it wasn't, neither was the shower or kitchen sink, there was actually a pile of unidentifiable "gunk" next to the toilet, and the rug had not been vacuumed. The main places you see often (counter tops, toilet, bathroom sink, etc.) were cleaned, but it was not as through as I expected and things I assumed would get cleaned (like shower, microwave, rug) were not.

I'm okay with the clean, and would be interested in using them again because they were extremely responsive and professional, but would want a better explanation of what is included in my clean and may need to be more directive instead of just trusting the cleaner to do their job. O

Long version: On a Friday afternoon, I decided last-minute to hire a home cleaner to come the next day (Saturday). I sent out a few quote requests for my 1 bedroom/1 bathroom Brooklyn apartment – regular clean (not deep clean), and Mr Maid NY was one of the accounts that got back to my ASAP. Stephen helped answer all my questions online (I have two cats and wanted to make sure that would be OK) and let me know there was next day availability. I booked through their website late that night and on Saturday morning, Stephen got in touch with me via text to let me know that the time slot I had picked was not available but that there was a cleaner available later in the day.

My cleaner, Carlos, called me before my scheduled time (4 pm) to ask if it would be OK for him to arrive early at 3:30 pm – which worked great for me! Carlos was extremely professional and had a kind, pleasant demeanor. As a non-binary person, I can feel uncomfortable to be alone in my home with a man I don't know – but I was completely at ease with Carlos. He was very thorough and everything looked great afterwards, particularly my hard wood floors.

Mr Maid NY is a great service, and the price cannot be beat. It was also great to be able to pay via Venmo at end of service (instead of during booking), and to be able to tip my cleaner Carlos directly as well.

When I moved to NYC, I struggled to find a good cleaning service. They are almost all expensive, even at the bottom part of the range. I went through 3 different companies before finally finding Mr Maid NY.

Firstly, if you are trying to do a price comparison, I can save you some time: value for money, they are the best out there (at least in this price range). If you are going under this price range, the service is typically pretty mediocre or you are dealing with an individual and paying them hourly. If you go to the next price range (which jumps up by several hundreds of dollars), you definitely get more but you have to be able to afford it (which I can't).

Secondly, the service: comprehensive. A lot of other services will basically just wipe surfaces, quickly clean your bathroom and kitchen, and vacuum. Washing the floors? Forget about it. Dusting? Only if you ask. Something is hard to reach? Nope, they won't be getting that.

When I first considered Mr Maid NY, I called up to see what their cleaning entailed. They must have thought I was crazy asking detailed questions (e.g., what about dusting? baseboards?), because they included pretty much everything in their basic service.

Lastly, I love the add-ons they offer. When I need my fridge cleaned, they have very reasonable upcharges that you can pick online when you schedule your cleaning.

I highly recommend giving them a shot!

My first cleaning, it overall went smoothly! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars was because there were certain places that were missed, namely some dust between my bookcases and some things on the ground that weren't deep cleaned. Considering the length of the cleaning, was hoping for something a bit more detailed, but went well for the most part. May try another home cleaner and see if they're a better match for me.

In the process on moving into a new building, the previous tenant left it in a used condition. Hired this service to come clean it, paid $365 to get 'top to bottom we'll clean everything' service and here I am cleaning a bunch of spots that were missed. Really frustrating to not get the service as advertised.

Was a little hard to get in touch. Prompted by them, I scheduled a visit to get an accurate quote, but no one came. Manager was quick to help resolve/remedy the situation by getting me in touch with the lady who initially was scheduled to visit. I was given a quote over the phone instead and shared instructions to clean the windows and empty shelves as a priority. We gave them 3 hours. I was sad that while I had to go into a room to begin working, the workers left without finishing thoroughly. I found a notable part of the shelves pretty dusty when I discovered it covering our newly washed clothes when we started to place our items into the shelves. I had to rewash my clothes and reclean the shelves again for another hour or two, and the paper towels were pretty dusty.

Workers were prompt as far as time of actual cleaning and were polite. I don't know if thoroughness and completion of the job is a strength.

Thank you, CwM, the work your team conducted at our elder's apartment.

The kitchen had been neglected for some time and needed a deep cleaning. This was made even worse due to a recent and persistent roach infestation that had only recently been eradicated. Your team cleaned all of her old wood kitchen cabinets (inside and out), the stove and oven, the walls, the countertops and the floor. It did not go unnoticed that they had carefully removed and replaced all of the dishes, cutlery, pots and food items stored in the cabinets in order to clean them properly.

Your team also did a great job on cleaning all of the metal window frames and sills throughout the apartment. These had collected a lot of dust and grimey dirt over the years and needed some special attention. The difference was astonishing!

Between the windows and the kitchen work, it actually feels like the air quality in the apartment has changed for the better.

Talking to Tom is a pleasure, it's very easy to schedule with this company. Tom's estimates are spot on as well – this is a big positive when compared to other company's who may bait and switch on the time/cost.

As for the cleaners, they're always prompt, professional, and easy to talk to and get along with. I just provide basic cleaning supplies and they have their own stuff as well. What is also important during this COVID time, the cleaners remain masked (as do we) and we stay out of each other's ways without issue.

When they leave, tom always gives a call to check-in and make sure everything went fine. I'm sure if there ever was an issue or the cleaners missed something they would make it right!!

BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. HEED MY WARNING!

These people are atrocious horrors. They came to clean and sent two women. One was on time and very kind. The other was 45 minutes late, had a horrible attitude and played her walkman at the loudest possible volume scaring my puppy. After I asked her to please lower the volume she refused and started telling me how she was allergic to my ITALIAN GREYHOUND, who has barely any fur. She fake sneezed about 65 times in a row and then proceeded to shove giant pieces of toilet paper into her nostrils. After taking about 1.5 hours to clean my bathroom, which was tiny, and already pretty clean when they came, it was obvious that they were not planning on cleaning the floors, windows, kitchen, or changing the sheets or pillowcases. The kind woman spent about an hour cleaning the inside of the dishwasher which was sparkling white to begin with, as I had scrubbed it with baking soda and white vinegar the previous week. I began to help them clean, using my own products (the company does not bring anything), paper towels, and tools. They didn't tell me to stop or that they could take care of it. I cleaned vigorously for about 45 minutes, at which point I had to go to work and was scrambling to take a shower because it's summer in NYC and I was working HARD, way harder than either of them. It was a really bad day because of how uncomfortable the situation was and I was extremely put off.

The owner Tom, had seemed confused when I called to let him know what had had happened, and confirmed with me that he would send a different group of people to actually get the job done. Cut to the day they are supposed to come. My first day off work in 9 days, I wake up early to get ready for their arrival and NO ONE SHOWS. No text, no phone call, no email – NOTHING. This is unacceptable and disgusting behavior. Complete disregard for other people's time with an additional slap in the face by giving no warning or explanation. Two hours later I get a phone call from Tom saying that the trains had a problem and he doesn't know what happened to the cleaners. This is simply unacceptable behavior. Every human in NYC uses the subway every day and can access cell phone service to either text, email, or call and let someone know, that is if there even was a TWO HOUR problem with the train, which has never once happened to me in my 10 years of living in NYC.

To make matters worse, Tom, began screaming at me on the phone, turning the situation around, and telling me that it was my fault his cleaners didn't do a good job because my apartment was "FILTHY". This is completely untrue and offensive. I am conscientious and make sure that my apartment is always clean and presentable; and had wanted a deep cleaning, as I have pets and am soon moving. He began screaming at me, asking if I was on drugs and telling me that he would not send anyone to come back and fix the mess they made in the first place. I am flabbergasted and beyond appalled that a business owner would act this way.

A small startup cleaning company with competitive prices, fantastic work ethic, concern over the environmental footprint as well as giving me the opportunity to work with a company that employs 50% of it's technicians, who happen to be persons with disabilities.

I had the team of Yolanda and Nancy arrive at 1pm for 4 hours of cleaning at a rate of 142.77, with tax. Once these two dynamos showed up, I had to get out of their way as they stripped the bed, flipped couch cushions, vacuumed and dusted every square inch of my furnishings, polished wiped and buffed the entire surface of my apartment.

They were done super fast and had extra time so … of course they did my windows. Flipped down, sprayed with glass cleaner, left shining, snapped back into place.

What made it prime for me is that I didn't have to kennel my animals (two cats, Bonnie and Clyde), as these ladies were happy to clean around my kitties. I took a picture of my bed to showcase how nicely it was made, fresh linens, fluffed pillows, hospital corners and organized every item, hotel style and even left me a card and a chocolate when they were done.

I gave the ladies my keys (which are kept in a safe at headquarters at Jay Street) and am having services every 3 weeks for 3 hours at a rate of $107 (tax included). I love that, every third Thursday, I'm coming home to a clean apartment! They'll get there after 9:30am, clean for 3 hours, and leave my apartment zestfully clean. Wheeee!

I booked an appointment with them for a cleaning for my apartment. At first, they said they can give me a Thursday time but later because they thought the job was too small (2 hours for $60) that they want to hold off until the weekend. We booked a 1-1:30PM time for Saturday and exchanged information.

On Saturday, I waited for the cleaner until 2:55PM when they are still a no show. I messaged them through text, call and Yelp and every time they said the cleaner is almost here. I am so incredibly pleased with the service I received today. Dumisile was very responsive when I requested a quote on yelp and had excellent communication in setting up my appointment.

Though I consider myself to be pretty clean to begin with, I travel a lot for work and my apartment felt like it had just been collecting dust in my absence. I explained that wanted everything wiped down and she was super conscious about dusting every nook and cranny (i have lots of little knick knacks around my apartment). She went above and beyond what I requested and her attention to detail was unparalleled.

Judy came to clean my 3 bedroom/1 bath kitchen/living room apartment in Brooklyn. She deep cleaned the kitchen, living and bathroom and lightly cleaned our bedrooms. Overall I think she did a great/good (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). The only thing I wish I had communicated was for her to scrub down the shower walls. Other than that, we were very happy with the clean. Great value for what we paid for. Even though our apartment was small, a deep clean takes time and was tedious. We've tried two other NYC based cleaning services in the past and just weren't happy with the results. I contacted Sparkle Home Services and spoke directly with Dumi, she scheduled with me quickly (got me a weekend appointment no less) and provided an accurate and fair quote. We couldn't be happier with the cleaning. We have two pugs and it's challenging to keep up with their shedding, Dumi and Ana had the place spotless. She brought some of her own supplies and we discussed other things I could get to make the cleaning more efficient in the future (had discussed setting up biweekly appointments if we were happy). The apartment looks amazing, Dumi and her staff are detail oriented and think of every last little thing. This cleaning is bounds better than any past services!

Our home has never been this clean, our doors and cabinets were wiped down, floors cleaned multiple ways (mop, rag, swiffer) to ensure all dust was up, she moved all of our knick knacks and such to clean etc. And it smells great!

We will definitely be setting up biweekly cleanings.

PS they were super nice to our dogs which is always a nice plus.

This is the best cleaning service I've ever had. I'd used another, wizardly, cleaning service before but Dumi and Anna blew them out of the water.

I thought i was living pretty clean, but I'm in total awe of what clean actually looks and feels like. They got rid of the pet smell in our apartment and were super friendly with our dogs.

Dumi and Anna were so polite and courteous and trustworthy and nice in general and I'd be comfortable giving them keys to my place because they're so professional and do such a great job. I'm not a trusting person, sometimes I keep the chain bolted when my pizza comes and make them turn the pizza box sideways to get to me even though it messes up my toppings, but I'd do it for this company

So I keep seeing those Handy ads on the subway and decided to try it out. I did it a couple of times and they turned out just okay. A friend recommended I contact Dumi because she said and I quote, "if you need a housekeeper, I have a good one. Super clean! Like, REAL clean. I'm sure you will like her. Very good work ethics." I was not happy with the service. First, they arrive late but they told me in advance which i was okay with it. I asked for a deep cleaning for a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment. After the cleaning, there are still thick dust on clothes hanging bars in some closets. They removed the stuff from under the sink for cleaning but never put it back. They never clean inside fridge or oven because they only do it when customer requests which I was not aware at all. But they did tell me when I booked the appointment that deep cleaning includes fridge and oven. The apartment is empty and I'm about to move in. I now need to clean again myself.

I really wanted this to work out well, and had heard such good reviews. HOWEVER, when I returned home after my apartment was cleaned by Irene's Cleaning team it was obvious my floors were not mopped properly. There were white spots all over that are from my baby's bottle dripping. The spots are very easy to wipe off – I do it when I clean myself. I was disappointed to pay so much (I was quoted $69/hr for min 1.5 hrs back in March) to have to mop the floors myself.

Don't waste your money. I was not happy with the services. I have used multiple different cleaners before, but this is the worst and most expensive I have used. We hired them for deep cleaning our home before moving in, but was very disappointed with the services. The cleaning was very superficial and expensive, and there were a lot of miscommunication about hours (since they charge by hour). If at the price, it was done well, I would not complain a single word. We came back after a few hours and found that some of the kitchen cabinets inside (which is the most basic thing for cleaning) were not touched at all (still dirty inside, see pictures), and most of the cabinets were not completely cleaned, still with dusts in the corner. The hardwood floors were still dusty, and cleaners were wearing their shoes walking around on the floor when they were cleaning. Overall, I would not recommend them or use them again.

Need deep clean due to a recent renovation at home. I don't need to clean the inside of fridge, oven or microwave, no need to clean any fabric furniture, only asked for cleaning the dust in the entire house and windows (cuz the renovation people was cutting wood and tiles inside).

The cleaners showed up on time, and were doing an okay job with some guidance. But they do not speak or understand English, so communication is very difficult. And they refused to clean the windows though it is what I asked for specifically. Talking to the company about it, they said since it is a raining day, it would be too risky to have the cleaners clean the windows, and there is no price change cuz their window clean is complimentary. Despite the fact that all my windows are removable, i agreed not to have the cleaners clean the outside of the window since it is raining. However, the cleaners are not cleaning the inside or the frame of the windows at all.

Overall, i am not happy about the service, and won't recommend them to others. It is more like a normal clean instead of a deep clean which is what i was seeking.

Found them on Yelp last minute as my usual cleaner couldn't make it.
Communication was easy and they could confirm me for the same day which was great and gave a time window.The cleaners arrived around that time.
Coming to the actual cleaning,one of the two girls did a great job but the other one was meh.
She skipped a few things,it was like i had to check and tell her that she missed that.
Didn't do a great job with the shower.Did not wipe the outside of kitchen cabinets properly (or may be she didn't at all) .

Called them yesterday and they came today!! My parents decided to come visit at the last minute and my guest studio had not been used for a month. It was filled with dead bugs and dust. It hadn't been properly cleaned since Christmas, I'm sure! I let my grown boys stay down there for a few months, so you could only imagine. Eric was great. Responded right away to give me a quote for a deep cleaning for a new apartment. I used the quote feature in the Yelp app.

We discussed what areas I wanted him to focus on and we reviewed them when he arrived and walked through the apt. He and his crew arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. I was surprised he was able to accommodate me since it was short notice and a holiday weekend.

I recently got a deep clean. It wasn't the cheapest option, but they definitely made it worth the money. And the price was less expensive than some other Yelp cleaning services.

They spent more than three hours here and cleaned everything from floors to walls to cabinets to garbage cans to my toilet brush holder! All the stains and dusty parts I couldn't get to are clean, including under the lid of my stove.

They brought their own supplies and machines (some cleaning services make you supply cleaning supplies) – an operation that was reminiscent of a band loading and unloading its gear.

One thing to note, when they show you your apartment after, double check that they got everything. My toaster-oven and my cabinets under my kitchen sink were missed, and I didn't look closely enough to point it out at the time. They would have totally taken care of it. I'm also mentioning this so you know it's a real review.

That being said, there's not enough room to list all the items they cleaned phenomenally. I will definitely use them again.

Personal and great response time. I used their services for deep floor cleaning back in January & requested no swifter and they came in with a brand new mop to get it done. They went above and beyond.

Update: Needed move out cleaning services, had a great experience 1st time around & decided to use them again. It went great! They came in with masks on (glad I didn't have to have that convo – Covid19). Will continue to use them in the near future.
