Super prompt response to my question via yelp, plenty of options to book a time, punctual arrival, and (most importantly) a brilliantly gleaming home when I came home! My husband met the cleaners and said they were polite and pleasant. I am super happy and plan to hire these folks regularly from now on!
Plus, the price was considerably cheaper, even for a larger portion of my house, than a service I had used in the past.

I have been using town mountain maids for their pick up laundry service and have been super impressed. They come and pick up my laundry, wash, dry, and fold it and bring it back with 24-48 hours all for a very reasonable price. This service would be amazing for elderly or handicapped folks and or their caregivers, or overwhelmed mamas like me! Thanks so much for taking several loads off of my shoulders!

Booked online, they cancelled services twice in a row. At that point I moved on. Giving them 3 stars because they did communicate with me and were professional (which is more than some companies in the area). They offered a small discount and said this was not common practice. I was disappointed but would potentially try them again in the future. Every business experiences growing pains – I hope this is what happened because the online booking tool and ease of making an appointment is super nice!

I highly recommend the deep home clean. Catie and Marta were incredibly thorough, totally professional and even loved up on my dog. Totally worth it to do this at least once a year – my house looks sooo different I have hung out around the house a bunch just enjoying the clean. I also feel good they did not use any harsh chemicals to get the job done – nothing washing down the drain killing the planet or poisoning my dog. AWESOME people, AWESOME service.

Two times I got totally bumped and know one showed up. I realize help is hard to find these days but I felt they should not take you on as a client if they can't show up. The owner of this business is dishonest. She charged me $153 for one hour of work on my credit card when I was told the charge is $45 an hour. I was at the house and the cleaners told me they were there for only one hour and they were done. They were not able to clean everything as my disabled son was in bed. When I questioned her on the charge, she was extremely defensive and offensive. If I had gone online and looked at previous reviews before I hired them, I would never have hired them in the first place. I suggest you do the same.

I rarely give poor reviews, but buyer beware on this one. Did not provide services advertised. Did not clean all bathrooms and dust many areas. Basically spot cleaned kitchen. I am having to back and do the rest of myself. Crew was only here for three hours for a deep clean on a 4000 square-foot house and kept going outside to smoke during that time. They picked and chose what areas they wanted to clean. They basically did the type of cleaning that we run through and do quickly on the weekends with our busy schedules. The value of the service was not there. When we notified the owner of the level of cleaning, she basically said that the service was unacceptable and if we wanted to give them another try if she would send another crew to do a better job. There will be no next time. She is correct that this was unacceptable. Not able to reply to owner response so reply to follow here – I was in Asheville while they were cleaning and my husband was in Alabama during the cleaning. We left a key under the mat and never met the ladies and I certainly did not give them a tip. There was no one here to direct them. We only know that they went out to smoke on several occasions because of our outdoor ring camera. You undoubtably have us confused with someone else who was displeased. We have no desire to have them back in our home after such a poor job.

We hired this company to clean our new house before moving in. Our estimate said a house our size would take two people two-three hours to clean. Two cleaners arrived 30 minutes late. They smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, which you could smell through out the house. We left our new house and returned five-six hours later, and the cleaners were still here. I called the owner, concerned with the time and cost. The owner said our new house was really dirty, and that there were 15 windows in one room, which took a lot of time. Our entire house has 16 windows total. The cleaners completed their job, and our new house is still not clean to my standards. After complaining to the owner, she took one hour off our bill. I will not be hiring them again.

Beware of this business, highly unprofessional and deceptive business practices. Received an estimate of $45.00/hr for a move out cleaning service for 2 people, upon which we agreed. The 2 cleaners showed up 2 hrs. late for their appt., stayed between the hours of 2:20 and 6:10 p.m., and did not leave an invoice of services or receipt. when they left. The following day the owner, Michael Wells, calls us with a total bill of $546.00 for the 4 hours of service provided, stating that 2 additional cleaners showed up later during the appointment, so everyone could leave the house by 6 p.m. When my husband requested an explanation of services provided for the outrageous price totaling $137.00/hour, none was given. We were never informed of an estimated rate that went from 45/hr to 137/hr . We were never made aware of the situation of additional cleaners having showed up at this cost.
The cleaning job itself was mediocre at best, as a walk-through next morning included a kitchen floor that was not cleaned and markings on the wall, and many other minor details missed not expected of a professional cleaning service.
The worst part of this experience, was the customer service. When my husband requested an explanation for the bill of $546.00 for 4 hours of work detailed, as it is MORE THAN DOUBLE the market price of a move-out cleaning service, the owners of Designer Maid proceeded with threats and insults in an aggressive manner; questioned us why we called a cleaning service, and called our house "dirty" and accused us of wanting "freebies" publicly on the internet, and repeatedly through out our many phone calls and e-mails today.

I got a Groupon to get 3 three-hour cleanings for $200. loved the idea of having someone else clean my house. The girls that come to your house are professional, courteous and work very hard. the scheduling of appointments is a NIGHTMARE. Every singe appointment they tried to change the time or were running late. I really wanted to continue with a monthly/bi-monthly service; however, I will not because of the scheduling headache alone. The scheduling issues took what was supposed to be a treat and turned it into a stressor. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE unless you have no life and can wait at home all day for someone to show up.
