I've had 2 cleanings so far and I am pleased with the results. I've just had a baby and can't even fathom scrubbing my floors and bathroom so I am very relieved they have been able to take care of it for me. The cleaning staff is receptive to my needs and comments which I appreciate. Also, they supply their own cleaning supplies which is awesome and the place looks very clean after them but doesn't have that disenfectent/chemicals smell which is awesome with a newborn!! Overall I'm very happy with the service. Shout out to team Kelly and Allie for a great cleaning and focusing on the shower and bugs!!

I have had my home cleaned by the same individual for 16 years who recently retired. I hired this group and not only do they surface clean, but they have crazy demands and are not at all accommodating. For the cost ($180 per week) I would never recommend this service.

Bailey and Choua are amazing. They are on time, friendly and keep the house sparkling clean. They rotate area each time & do a thorough cleaning of each room. Ceilings to baseboards all areas of the room are tended to. I would highly recommend them.

I've been using The Cleaning Authority for about 8 years, so I've had several cleaning teams over that span. Lately Bailey and Choua have been doing our cleans and they are the best! I hope we stay in their schedule for a long time! We have the hairiest dog in the world and they do a great job keeping the carpets and upholstery hair free – even our carpeted steps which I know is a total pain. I also love how careful they are. Some cleaners damage wood furniture by hitting it with the vacuum and stuff like that. Bailey and Choua treat my house like it's their own. I read some of the other reviews and saw that people had bad experiences. That's going to happen once in awhile – not all clean teams are equal. I've found that if you just talk to the people though and ask them to pay a little more attention here or there they listen and follow through on the next round.

The first cleaning was good, not great. The second cleaning, well, it wasn't a cleaning! The house looked exactly as I left it that morning. Tub and shower were still dirty, the hard wood floors were WET mopped so they looked disgusting. There weren't any vacuum lines in the living room. The best part is I received an apology with no offer to make it right. Bottom line? Keep looking for a cleaning service and pass this one up.

I hired these cleaners and after the 2 "detail cleanings" which cost over $300, I called the manager to tell her about the poor job done. Kitchen rug (small, at the sink) had not been moved during mopping of the floor showing obvious grime underneath. There was leaf debris under the family room couch, which is a light, easily movable couch. There were dust bunnies under my daughter's dresser. My vanity has a glass cover and there was still makeup dust and a coffee cup ring on the surface. It's black so not easily visible, but running a hand over it and looking from the side it was obvious nobody had touched this surface. There was dust, crumbs, sand, etc along many baseboards. The manager had the crew return to repeat their work. I moved all the furniture away from the walls so that they could clean underneath and wall to wall. When I returned to see their work, there was still dust along the baseboards, and the spot of floor under the kitchen rug still was soiled! I'm not terribly particular about house cleaning, but I would expect a cleaning service to clean the floor baseboard to baseboard, and clean counter surfaces entirely by moving items on the counters. I called to cancel the service and the manager asked me if I would continue on with a $20 discount for their next cleaning. I said no way.

This service is such a joke. This was our second "detail cleaning." The reachable light pendants in the kitchen weren't dusted or wiped down either time, the french doors in our living room weren't even wiped down during the living room detail, & there are still mineral deposits around the bathroom sinks even after the bathroom detail was complete. Just cancelled my service today. If I'm paying $128 per cleaning, I want PERFECTION, & I don't want to chase people to come back & redo the job or complain about the work everytime. What a waste of money.

I had them clean my house for about 6 months and I am not that picky of a person but they did not do a very good job by any means. I called 3 times to tell them there were still cup rings on my table that easily wiped off with windex and there was wisker hair on the sink yet from my husband shaving. The last straw was when I was off of work when they were cleaning and they were there no more than 80 min. with 2 girls cleaning and I paid $110.00. I called to ask the owner/manager (Holly) their rate and I thought $110.00 was excessive for 80min. which averages out to around $74.00 per HR I was told she herself would charge no less than $74.00 and hour for herself to clean someone's house. I cancelled immediately after that ridiculous statement.

We started using Home Sweet Home Cleaning (Katina) approx. 3 years ago, The first few cleanings were good but after that thing began to change. The cleaning team began showing up late (or changed cleaning days) more times that we can and always had an excuse for why. In addition, what we thought was a clean house was not. Once particular instance we had to wipe up a small water spill on our hardwood floor and realized the floor was still filthy with dirt. We confronted Katina and again she had an excuse. But surprisingly the floor was clean the next time. When we originally hired her, we made a clear point to let her know that we would need her to use the same individuals for cleaning every two weeks as we have 2 rescue dogs that are not comfortable with strangers especially men. She agreed. Not more than a few cleanings two new individuals showed up – one a being man. Excuses came and we let them clean. The began a flow of "new" people (family members , cousins, boyfriends) showed up to clean which not only felt uncomfortable to consistently have strangers cleaning our house but we continued on. One particular occasion (and there were many) we had to run errands. We returned home and front door was wide open, and the two dogs were in the house alone. Thank god they didn't run out the door. We called Katina immediately and once again her line of excuses. The second to last major incident was while I was downstairs working in my office I could hear loud arguing between Katina and her daughter. It continued for some time getting louder and louder. Finally, I came upstairs to find that her daughter had called 911 on her mother and all were standing out in our front yard with several police and an ambulance. Needless to say, our neighbors watched, and we were embarrassed. The final cleaning (that lead to the termination) we were once again surprised with another new member of her team: her cousin. Again, I asked her about strange employees coming as our dogs could bite them. Here excuse – she thought our dogs weren't home, so she it would be okay.
Some of this I admit was partially our fault. We understood mistakes and life events happen so in the beginning we were willing o overlook those signs with Katina and trust her. We were also hoping to find a family cleaning service similar to the one we had for over 15 yrs. in Minneapolis. After we finally decided to terminate her services, we asked for our house key to be returned on three separate occasion w no response from Katina and still no response as of today. Another glaring reminder to us of her business practices and immaturity running a business. I definitely would not recommend getting involved with Home Sweet Home Cleaning. Not even for one cleaning. We have always tried to support small local business but this one is one of the most unreliable, unstable and unprofessional companies we have ever dealt with. And as you have read, we are pretty easy going and willing to give chances. My advice for what it's worth. I hope this helps others to avoid this type of experience.
