Lindsay & Emily have been cleaning the home of my son & daughter-in-law weekly for many months now and I finally asked them to stop by my place for a deep clean. I have used Aromatherapy Cleaning Services twice for deep cleaning before guests arrived. They were amazing!!! The owner and business manager were incredibly gracious, friendly, and efficient, with excellent communication skills. The house cleaner was one of the most pleasant, positive, hard-working people I've met, and her ability to thoroughly clean everything in our home was amazing. She even managed to make an oven with years of baked-on gunk look nearly new, using only a baking soda solution and lots of elbow grease. I also appreciated how she arranged items on table tops and bathroom counters in a more decorative manner. Our house sparkled after this cleaning!

These folks have been cleaning my house for the last few months. Initially it was pretty good. It was agreed that there would be a certain price with rotating rooms getting cleaned. However poor turnover, poor communication between Paola and her scheduler Katie, as well as poor organization has lead me to cancel their services. I love Paola (the owner) and Sadie (employee). I've been having my house professionally cleaned for about 20 years. For the bulk of that time I used one service but the owner moved and it wasn't the same. I tried about 8 other ppl/companies always with the same result. The first one or two cleanings were good but then things went either dramatically or slowly down hill. NOT WITH THIS COMPANY!! Paola and Sadie are so good!! I have 2 dogs and a small house and I know it's a pain to clean but they move furniture, do under my bed and night stand, window sills, etc. I'm picky and it is always great. Plus, no drama! They don't reschedule. I don't hear "baby daddy" drama. And they like my dogs (2 kinda scary looking but very sweet pit bulls). I could go on and on. Bottom line…I know house cleaning and this company does consistently outstanding work for a fair price.

Maynor and his team are great! If you're looking for reliable home cleaners in Ann Arbor, I highly recommend them.
We hired them monthly for 5 years straight to clean our 800 sq ft condo. Every time, I could not have been happier with the results. The attention to detail was impressive. It was like coming home to a hotel! Even when we got a cat who admittedly shed quite a bit of fur, they kept up their high standards and left the home spotless.
Mayor is easy to contact and very reliable. He held keys and the cleaners would come while we were away. We never once had a problem with things missing. I called Maynor to reschedule numerous times, and he was always very flexible. He also was always able to give me an estimate of what time they would be cleaning so I would know when to come home. Their prices were competitive and fair, and he offered us a discount on our first few cleanings.
We are stopping their services only because we are moving out of state. We hope to find cleaners as good as them in our new location!

We've used Gisel House Cleaning for biweekly cleaning since we moved to Ann Arbor three years ago (with the exception of during the pandemic), and have been consistently thrilled with their service. They're communicative, timely, and do a wonderful job cleaning.
Later on the in pandemic, we had them in to do a deep clean after we had been out of the house for several days, and that was wonderful too. They also did an oven cleaning and the oven is sparkling clean – it looks brand new.

We hired the crew at Gisel to do a one-time deep cleaning of three areas of our rental house that we'd had trouble getting clean ourselves (among other things, an older bathtub that's challenging to clean). We needed a one-time cleaning. To search for a reliable cleaner, I contacted four different companies. Gisel responded quickly and gave me a free in-house estimate the second day. Among the four companies, their estimate is very fair, actually the cheapest. They came in teams and finished the work in about 2 hours. Compared with another company' one-person 6 hrs double the price estimate, they're really efficient. They asked me to check everything before they left. The girls in his team are very detail-oriented. I'm very happy and satisfied with their cleaning. Highly recommend!

Where to begin. First, they require an appointment just to give you a quote. They won't base it off of time. This might be ok if you are at home all day. But fine, I can forgive that and deal with it if the folks are reasonable and good cleaners.
Second, they charge higher prices than NYC cleaners. I got cleanings in NYC for $40 an hour. They quoted my first cleaning at $150 for two hours. And I had to supply my own cleaning supplies. What??
Third, they try heavily to push bi-monthly cleaning contracts. Fine, but not everyone wants that. They quoted that at $70 and everything other than the first cleaning at $100. Ok fine, that's reasonable but I don't want it, so stop asking.
The kicker – when I suggested that we may only want cleanings every 4-6 weeks, they increased the price on the cleanings to $120 to try to push the $70 bin-monthly deal. I'm out.
They may clean well, but I will never know as all I got was an appointment for an expensive quote that somehow got more expensive.

Very poor communication skills
and the way it conducts business is more like a scam.
I asked for an estimate of 960 sq ft, 1.5 bath room, rental without pet; the reply was that they have to come and see to give an estimate. Seriously, so I emailed back, giving the details, they could not even give a range of costs!
They insisted that it has to be assessed in person, seriously, with both working spouses and a baby, to make time just for an estimate????
Other companies are happy to give a price for the estimate, and then re-evaluate the situation, this company's practice triggers red flags!

Since I now live in San Francisco, I really count on Maynor to be honest with me about what is happening with the condition of the condo, since I don't even see the condo after the old folks move out and the new folks move in. Think & Do Partners has been a wonderful service provider – I look forward to coming home every Thursday so much more since we started using them. I really appreciate the attentiveness and the professionalism that this company provides. I travel for work M-Th and it has been a huge relief to know that my home is in good, safe hands and that I can pick up the phone and ask for help at anytime (seriously, with anything – cleaning, dry cleaning, dog walking, bill pay, grocery shopping).
My "partner" comes over every Thursday and cleans between 2-4 hours and helps take care of my pup and occasionally will do a grocery pick up. It is $36 an hour with a minimum of 2 hours – but no monthly/weekly minimum, so you could do once a month, every other week, once a quarter. For scope, they can do our living room, bathroom, and kitchen in two hours and in three hours she can do the bedrooms (including washing/changing sheets) and brush the dog.
The owner is Kristin, came over to meet me and walk through the apartment with me before we started and she's come with my housekeeper a few times to check in and make sure she's being as efficient as possible with her time. She's always quick to respond to email or phone calls and has really gone above and beyond in all of my interactions with her.

The girls were on time for my deep clean. I forewarned them how awful the house smelled from previous owners as it was full of curry and was not kept up or well maintained. They came in for 3 hours and the fridge and other appliances were good as new. They even swept behind the stove and washer/dryer. I didn't expect that. I am thoroughly pleased with my service and plan on having them back every few months to keep it pristine.

This is my second year of bi-weekly house cleaning with House and Order. Cleaning is very detailed and they will do whatever you request in regard to cleaning. If anything extra needs to be done, they are on it. If I ever need to change my cleaning day the request has been met with nothing but accommodation. They did a "good" job and they were able to get to my house on the day I requested, but it took forever. I've never seen two people move as slowly as they did. Disclosure-I was at work until about the last 30 minutes – my Mom was here for the entire time. This was supposed to be a deep cleaning of a fairly clean house. I asked that windows, storm door and slider door be cleaned. They didn't clean the storm door and only cleaned the bottoms of the windows. They did clean the slider. They didn't clean ceiling fans or the top of the blinds (picture). I didn't ask that ceiling fans be cleaned but would think that's part of "deep cleaning". I also question how much training they get although I was assured by a supervisor (the one I paid) they were thoroughly trained. One of the girls shook out her swiffer in a bedroom that had just been dusted. Same girl shook a rug on a clean kitchen floor and after I asked if it had been vacuumed, and was told no, said "it's only going on the floor". What? I could have done as good of a job or better in about two hours (but I was lazy). When I commented on how long it was taking (one girl washed, in slow motion, an already clean electric stove top for no less than 15 minutes), I was assured they are instructed by the company to do a thorough job. I truly appreciate that but it was funny how they flew though the utility room and remainder of the kitchen in about 15 minutes after my comment. I was charged for 3 hours ($210). The reason for the three stars is really because I feel they drag things out to get as much money out of the customer as they can. That is unethical to me.

My fiancé and I recently purchased a home in A2, and opted to hire House and Order to do a "move-in cleaning" – worst experience I have ever had with a cleaning agency! 1) We asked them NOT to bring any cleaning materials, as we did not want them bringing rags, vaccum cleaners, and brooms that had been used in other peoples homes to avoid cross contamination. Well, at some point Amanda and Rebecca took the large stack of rags that they initially left by our front door, and integrated them with the NEW rags we purchased. Thanks to their inability to do as we requested, we now have to purchase a new set of rags. 2) You would think a move-in cleaning involves cleaning inside of cabinets throughout an entire house, cleaning inside of the refrigerator, washing floorboards and walls where needed, but NO! To our shock, we were told at the end of their day that we had to request / specify all of those things before hand – only for the owner to later state that the inside of the cabinets and refrigerator should, in fact, have been included in "move-in cleaning". 3) Upon expressing our displeasure with Kandi (the manager/house cleaning trainer) via telephone, she refused to take accountability for the poor quality of service – which is a direct reflection on the training they received from her – and instead responded, "Sir, we are NOT a window cleaning company!"
At this point I lost my cool. Instead of acknowledging, or giving us any reason as to why her cleaners did NOT clean inside cabinets, the refrigerator, or wash walls and floor boards, she opted to focus in on "cleaning windows"?! To clarify, we never stated that the workers did not "clean the windows", rather we stated that the cleaners did NOT clean out cob webs that were inside of the window sill. Sensing my frustration, she passed the phone to the owner, who also refused to take accountability for, in essence, the poor job Kandi did training the cleaners. After hearing him also attempt to deflect responsiblility by stating, "Sir, we are not a window cleaning company" (that must be their go-to line of defense), I demanded a full-refund! It's important to note that, despite hiring the services of several cleaning agencies throughout the course of my lifetime, I have NEVER demanded a full refund. In the end, we agreed on a refund amount that would enable us to recoup our fee, less the cleaners hourly wage.
To have people come into our new home, and 1) blatantly disregard / ignore our request, 2) do a poor job of cleaning, and 3) for ownership and management to refuse to take responsibility for poor quality of service, made my fiance and I feel like House and Order were attempting to take advantage of us. Being born and raised in Ann Arbor, this was NOT the welcome home I expected.
To House and Order's owner and staff: though we will not be hiring your services again, my hope is that you all realize that people opening the doors to their homes is not an invitation to take advantage of them, rather it should seen as a privilege / honor to serve your customers to the very best of your ability – which you failed to do in our case. DO BETTER. Despite our disatisfaction, we still gave each of the cleaners a tip. We are not heartless people, rather we simply expect the best service for the price.

We wanted to schedule a regular cleaning service with S & J. This required us to do first a deep cleaning visit. I was surprised by the unprofessionalism for their very first deep clean visit. The first visit cost us 9+ man-hours @45$/hour for a typical moderate-sized house. In the end, there were many surfaces left dusty, countertops not wiped clean. Things were left disorganized (e.g. our Japanese floor seating mattress on top of the couch, dustbin on top of a desk in the kids room, and other stuff left in a disarray). The team was in a rush to get to the next job. After this "deep clean" we decided not to continue their service even though we paid hefty first visit charges. My past cleaners have done an amazing job, this is not professional.

I've used this company twice in the past two months. I paid for a deep clean with pet hair both times. I was very, very happy with Kelli and her associate on the initial clean in November – detail-oriented and thorough. I was so happy that I requested Kelli for my follow-up deep clean + pet hair. She brought her own vacuum. I was pretty ecstatic that I found such a great a regular cleaner!
I received a text from Tabitha the night before my scheduled clean letting me know that Kelli is unavailable, but there's another available team who is "just as good." Sure, that's fine.
The second cleaner showed up on time, which is great. Very polite. She then announced that she was almost finished cleaning and asked for my feedback. When I asked if any of the carpeted rooms had been vacuumed, she told me she forgot her vacuum. Thankfully, I did have a vacuum available for her to use, and she vacuumed the carpets just fine after that.
Overall, the impression of the company really varies by which cleaner is assigned to you. I gave it an OK review overall because one cleaner went above and beyond, and the second cleaner forgot her vacuum.. to a (deep) cleaning job.
*Update* Tabitha reached out to me for an update on how my clean went. She was very reasonable and understanding. She offered to adjust the price of the cleaning job and provided a solution so that I might be able to use Kelli as a cleaner in the future.
And for great customer service, I'll bump the review to a Good.

RE: When you have a window of 9-11 you don't show up at 11, when you have a window of 8-9, you don't show up at 9:20.
First visit of the day should be an easy appt to keep. Roads have been dry for 7 months now. No weather delays, I would suggest you tell your maids that when their appt is between 8-9 don't leave the house at 8:45.
Your 2 hour comment is out of line when I have proof of email and texts that say the 8-9 arrival.
Your company is highly unprofessional when it come to customers valuable time.

I don't want to give them one star because it wasn't a horrible experience or anything. "Could've been better" basically nails it. First of all, the woman was an hour late. That was fine, though, because I was working from home. She was nice, got right to work, and did a decent job. The bathroom and kitchen were pretty great. But I paid extra for a "deep clean" and "pet hair" and I feel like she could have been a lot more thorough. For instance, she didn't dust anything, and didn't move anything aside to vacuum or sweep. She vacuumed upstairs but didn't vacuum the stairs. Perfect example is we have this little plastic box where we keep the dog toys. Very easy to move, right in the corner of the living room. Right after she left I went and moved it and there was a bunch of dog hair behind it. Not a horrible experience over all, but considering I paid an extra $70 (which is a lot to me) for pet hair and deep clean, I would expect a little more for my money. Next time I'll probably look for a different service that's either less expense or more thorough (or both).

However at the end of that rescheduled time slot, which was the morning before the event, no one showed. Tabitha was right on it, but the Cleaner was unresponsive. Tabitha was able to have someone come to the house that evening since I was a little panicked that I would end up to do the cleaning, free of charge.
